As Izuku got put into prison for something he didn't do he lost everything. His friends his place even one of his girlfriend who was his fiancé and to cap it all she ends up dating a person who framed him and her and all of her riches went down the drain. After years of being kept in prison Izuku uncle Maseru who disowned his son after the shit he did to his nephew became his lawyer as he finds out all of the evidence of Izuku not being the traitor. After that Izuku didn't even want to be a hero as they tried to give him back his hero license.
