After Katsuki overheard students talking down in Katsuki about having a villainous quirk he realized what he doing to Izuku was wrong and he went to him and apologized to him before it was too late and he made it as he told Izuku a way to get payback on the school was to tell the hero's and Izuku was reluctant on it as Katsuki told him he's on no bullshit as he told him he'll train him in how to fight since he went to a boxing gym. Izuku took it and went to the hero's as Izuku vouched for Katsuki telling them that he wanted to atone for what he did as they gave him a light punishment for his actions.

Btw Inko and All might are married and Inko didn't neglect or abuse him at all and All might wanted her to as she has a video  record of him doing both as she does the opposite and he also lost his place as the #1 as Endeavor (who's a good father) took over.
