i've written and taken down and rewritten this idea so many times it's insane, i'm just never happy with the way it ends up when i do it lol, hopefully some of you will have better luck

this one was kind of similar to the idea of sleeping beauty, like the whole idea of her death being foretold and impossible to avoid and stuff.

person one is told by a psychic that they're going to die because of person two. they don't know who person two is, only the name. they're just a kid at the time though, so even though their mum/dad is pretty paranoid about it, they don't really mind. a little while later they meet person two, but have kind of forgotten about the fact that that person is destined to bring about their death. they go all of their childhood and teenage years as friends, refusing to leave each other even when person one's parents try to force them. even though their friendship is strong, eventually person one realizes they're starting to push their luck, and decides it's best if they just forget about each other. so they stop all communication, and it seems like they'll both be fine.

years later, person one goes out and gets drunk, so with no one else to drive them home they decide to call a taxi (they could get the taxi for another reason though, i just thought this way would be good). as person one gets out at the end of the drive, they ask the name of the driver (and maybe their number?). they don't even have time to register the fact that it's the name of person two before another car hits them from the side and they die instantly. (whether or not the driver actually is person two or not is entirely up to you if you decide to actually write this)

i have a bad habit of ending these with death don't i? whoopS
