How it Works (and some Rules)

Now that the whole premise is established, this is how the PWD Ideas Treasury will actually function.

A Wattpadian will submit an idea. It can be almost anything. It could be a whole year of research. It could be three sentences. It could merely be a "what if..." statement. All of those are ideas.

PWD then displays them here in this book for people to read. You might get some fun comments from them. Questions and discussions might spur on from curious readers. There's no guarantee every idea will be claimed, but we try our best to have as many eyes, at the very least, be seen. The PWD even has plans to get a graphic artist or two make (a) cover(s) for the idea as visual reference. This book essentially is like a gallery or even an anthology for Pokéfic ideas.

And then someone withdraws it! At the very least, PWD hopes the idea is eventually continued to be built and maybe constructed into a fascinating story that maybe even the original author could have never imagined.

It's a magical process. Hopefully, it can serve as another tool to the Pokémon fandom Wattpad community to the creation of fascinating works and the discovery of authors with solid potential.

Before we get ahead of ourselves, there are a few disclaimers/rules for both any depositing or withdrawing party.

For those who deposit:

1.) By submitting your idea, until publishing, you have relinquished all rights of the idea. It is subsequently not your property and belongs to PWD.

2.) If you submit an idea and it is not yet published in this book, you retain every right to regain control of your idea. If, on the off chance, you feel as though you want it back, regardless of reasoning, PWD complies to return it to you. There will be at least a 24-hour grace period between your submission and publishing. This means you have at least that much time to change your mind if desired.

2.5) Additionally, if the story has not yet been taken, you can withdraw the idea agian. However, you cannot do it through PM.

3.) Since it is no longer your property, whoever withdraws it can edit and change it as they please. If it turns out differently and you dislike it, you can't complain to the author who withdraws it or the PWD.

4.) We retain a right to refuse any idea submission. Since we don't want fifty submissions of the same idea, we ask depositors to refrain from submitting an idea similar to an idea already submitted. The grace period stated above allows us to review it if, on the off chance, there was a previous submission similar to your deposit.

Now for those who withdraw ideas...

1.) To claim an idea, please reply to the comment in the thread provided by PWD. Please don't comment anywhere else. Please don't PM us. It's much easier to keep organized that way.

2.) Regardless of what ends up with the idea, you are to give credit to the PWD AND its original owner. This is a service we provide, and we request merely a sentence in the story description or some sort of mention somewhere. An acknowledgement is part of a payment required to withdraw an idea.

3.) If you do not use the idea for any reason, we highly request you return it. After all, this service basically takes scrapped ideas of one author and gives them to another who might be able to make something fantastic out of it. Let's say you withdraw one, but you end up not using it. We suggest you keep the cycle moving forward. Resubmit it. Maybe someone else might like the idea and maybe they can use it.
