Title: Five Thousand

Plot:

"Its brain can outperform a supercomputer. Its intelligence quotient is said to be 5,000."

Dr. "Name 1" of prestigious Celadon University had worked in the field of Psychic Pokémon research for years. But when ze was assigned to replace a retiring professor in cognitive studies focused on Alakazam called "Name 2", ze soon realized it was a task ze wasn't enough mentally prepared for; finding a common ground with a Pokémon of 5,000 IQ is not an easy task.

But when zir little daughter, "Name 3", begins to exhibit signs of Psychic abilities, and even befriends "Name 2", Dr. "Name 1" grows deeply worried over the escalating situation.

Can a meager human control zir intellectual superior in the situation the latter begins to question its captivity, and whether it, or its kind, need humans at all?
