Plot:

After his adventures through the region of Unova, Nate finds himself riding the Rondez-View Ferris Wheel in the Nimbasa City with N, who is reminiscing his past and Hilbert. After parting ways, Nate finds a Xtransceiver and decides to hand it over to the police but is abruptly called by the owner of the same device.

The owner, Yancy, asks Nate in a disrupted voice to keep the device safe for her until the time she is free and get it back from him in person-something Nate finds confusing. While he continues his travel around the region, he decides to keep it with him. During her second call, she reveals herself to be a girl and that her old Xtransceiver only supports audio.

The story follows the two as their relationship grows over time from becoming friends and more. In the meantime, Nate is also looking for the mysterious trainer who saved Unova region two years ago while Yancy is struggling to maintain a balance between her work as an idol and normal life.

Nate is also unaware of Yancy's secret identity as Nancy-a secret Yancy is willing to keep in hopes of keeping their relationship as it is and not have Nate treat her differently than he usually does. Over time, Yancy falls for Nate and nearly blows up her cover when she accidentally shows up on Xtransceiver as Nancy. Whether or not Nate learns the secret is completely left up to the author to decide.

While the story takes place in Unova, many of the major events can take place at the Rondez-View Ferris Wheel in the Nimbasa City Amusement Park (for example; finding the Xtransceiver, meeting Yancy for the first time and possible confession). Nate is also implied to visit Nuvema Town while Yancy will visit several different regions (for example; Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh) due to her job during the event of the story.

Character(s):

Nate: a Pokémon Trainer from Aspertia City, Unova, who is looking for the mysterious trainer who had saved Unova from Team Plasma two years ago after listening about him from N. He finds an Xtransceiver at the beginning of the story.

Yancy/Nancy: a shy and timid girl who is secretly a popular idol who goes by her stage name Nancy. Due to the heavy facial difference between the two persona, it's hard to figure out her true identity. She drops her Xtransceiver in the Nimbasa City Amusement Park before the events of the story and upon contacting it through her older Xtransceiver, learns that it is in the possession of Nate. She asks him to keep it safe for her until she is free and collect it and in the meantime, calls him often to keep in touch with him.
