Title: Imposter

Plot:

The apocalypse begins with everyone waking up at 4 in the morning. Ditto roam the streets of Kanto and anyone who comes into contact with them turns into a Ditto.

The plot revolves around Dean who has just confessed to his crush, Charlotte, and he heads over to her house immediately after witnessing his family turning into Ditto. He flies on his Pidgeot to her house. The two try to stay alive in the apocalypse. No one can be trusted and the only way to differentiate the Transformed is from the black holes for eyes.

With his gun and limited ammo, Dean promises to protect her at all costs. What he doesn't know is that she is not his crush, but a Ditto which escaped from a Rocket scientist before the mutation experiment that brought about the apocalypse.

The Ditto, being an imposter, is clinging to him for safety. When the chance comes, xe will have to stand up and Transform, and will have to explain where the real girl is. (The Ditto can transform into the girl well and has human eyes.)

Character(s):

Dean, a hotheaded boy, brown eyes, auburn hair, dark skin. 17, loves pancakes, hates Pokémon dolls. Pokémon team for three, a mix of Water- and Ice-types. He has known Charlotte for four years.

Charlotte, or Char for short, trains Fire-types. One of her Pokémon, and a personal favourite, is Ponyta and its evolved form, Rapidash. She has rode her Rapidash to school twice. She is usually calm and collected.

Like Dean, she'll have three Pokémon. She is white, with olive hair, 18, loves vanilla ice-cream and hates Ghost-types and profanity a lot. Either she doesn't appear in the story or appears somewhere towards the climax.

The Ditto, or the Imposter, has a fear of Ponyta after being stomped and left injured in Cerulean City, near the cave xe was experimented in. After transforming into Charlotte, as xe only knows little of her, tries xer best to act like her and fills in memory gaps with excuses. Xe has learnt to speak human language and frequently utters vulgarities under the influence of the Rocket scientist and grunts. Xe only wishes to have a friend after being lonely and trapped in a cage for two years. As Xe appears shortly after Charlotte vanished, no one suspects much other than her personality has changed.
