Time goes by and many things change, but not for the better. Lily walked through her hometown with a sad smile on her face. She walked for a little bit before she stopped at an old house, with toys to match the age of the house in the front lawn and some in the old tree. She placed a hand on the tree as she dragged her hand across as the bark of the tree peeled off. She removed her hand from the tree and walked through the front lawn to the door. She opened it and saw her family, moving about, "Come on! We're gonna be late!" Lincoln said as he carried some suitcases

"Wait up, twerp!" Lori said as she too was carrying a suitcase. Lily smiled as she ran up to her brother and said: "Lincoln! Let me help you!" tapping his leg. As she did so, he disappeared. Vanished. The suitcases fell to the ground around Lily as she gasped. She fell onto her back as the rest of her family continued without even noticing, "Lincoln! Move it!" Lynn shouted as she seemed to kick thin-air. Lynn's foot was about to strike Lily as it came down, making Lily raise her hands to protect herself. She when felt pressure beginning to build on her hand, it stopped as she looked up to see Lynn had vanished too. Lily sat up as she looked at her hands. She shook in fear as she quickly stood up and went to look for her mother, "Mom! Mommy!" Lily cried as she ran through the house, "MOMMY!"

"Lynn? Do you have everything?!" Rita shouted, talking to her husband

"Yes, sweetheart!" Lynn Sr replied as he came out with a giant suitcase and an umbrella

"MOMMY!" Lily cried as she ran to her mother. She jumped into the air to have her mother try and catch her, but Lily felt nothing as she saw that there was nothing! She fell to the ground, bashing her head against the table. Lily's head went through the table as it shattered. Rubbing her head, she stood up to see old, rotting pieces of wood around her and old rust screws. Turning around, she raced to her father for help. But once she touched him, he too disappeared. Tears flowed down her face as she cried: "W-what's going on?!" and ran through the entire house, trying to ask for help. But when she touched her siblings, they disappeared, turning into mist. When they were all gone, she dropped to her knees, curled up into a ball, and cried. Weeping on the floor. She cried and cried until Charles came up to her and started licking her face. Her tears slowed as she reached out for him and wrapped him in her arms. She continued to cry as Charles stayed by her side. When she opened her eyes after cried for who knows how long, she saw that her home was gone and replaced with a forest. Charles was still with her as she stood up and let go of her dog. After walking for a few minutes, she turned to see Charles was gone and replaced with a large dog made of fire and hooves replacing his paws.

Charles walked up to her and rubbed his head against the side of her chest. Lily padded his head as she then heard the sound of leaves crunching. Looking ahead of her, she saw a man with white hair, two swords, and a crossbow.
