Lincoln sat on the roof of his room. Looking up at the sky, the moon shone on his face as he sighed, "I hate this," he whispered, pulling out a packet of cigarettes. Pulling one out and lighting it, he took a deep breath and exhale a large cloud of smoke, taking in the relaxing sensation of smoking, "You guys are the only ones I can trust," he said, looking down at the cigarette packet. He sat there for a few seconds before he heard footsteps and turned his head to see Lynn, "Uhh, hey?" Lynn shyly said, something out of character for her

"What do you want?" Lincoln asked, turning back around

"I just wanna talk,"

"Talk? You? Huh... well, I ain't got all night. Hurry up," Lincoln snapped, making Lynn flinch. Lynn slowly walked to her brother, making sure not to trip and fall. Once she reached Lincoln, she sat down next to him and took a deep breath... ore at least tried to. Second-hand smoke was happening at this moment as Lynn was coughing, "C-Can you put that thing out?" Lynn questioned, waving the front of her face

"No. I'm stressed. Smoking helps me calm down," Lincoln replied

"Stressed? About what?" Lynn coughed

"Everything. Today. Yesterday. Tomorrow. Lily... you,"

"Me?"

"How do you even sleep at night, knowing what you did?" Lincoln turned to face his sister, blowing a cloud of smoke into her face

"*Cough**cough* W-What the hell?!" Lynn shouted falling onto her back. She then began to roll off the roof before Lincoln reached out and grabbed her hair. Lynn flinched again as Lincoln pulled her hair and then wrapped an arm around her throat. Holding onto her, Lynn thought Lincoln was going to choke her... but he didn't. It was a relaxed choke-hold as the only thing that felt like choking was her own body-weight falling down and her throat pressing against his forearm, "I won't kill you Lynn... I care about you too much. And that's my flaw, I care too much," Lincoln then wrapped his legs around Lynn's body, "I love you all too much. With this hold I have you in, I can easily dislocate your neck and snack your spine... but I won't,"

"B-But why?"

"hm?"

"Why? W-Why don't you end it?"

"Didn't you listen to me? I care too much, I'm merciful... and that's the best punishment,"

"Wh-What?"

"Imagine, living the rest of your life knowing full well that you caused something to another humane being, one that cared about your well-being and you there's, harm? Do you even know what it like? Being trapped in a limbo-like dimension. I saw things that would turn even the sanest person mad. Years would go by when it was minutes out here. It was hell! Purgatory! And I want you to live with that fact. The fact you sent your own brother to that god-awful place!" Lincoln scowled, releasing Lynn from the hold. Standing up, he took one last puff of his cigarette and flicked it at Lynn's face, "I'll see you this weekend," exhaling into the night sky

"W-where are you goin'?" Lynn asked, trying to keep herself from falling off again

"I'm hungry. I haven't eaten any real food in a few thousand millennia," Lincoln answered as he turned into smoke and vanished, leaving Lynn alone on the roof.
