i dunno whether I want this to be a fic or want this to be a fic or an rp. So my idea is the focus of two techically three characters. A guard(maybe captain) and a peasant/outcast. In this world there is magic and creatures of course. It would be set in kinda medieval times. Some info about the setting. The main setting is the kingdom which involves a castle and not big town around it. The castle is on a.. a hill? Is there anything between a hill and mountain? Anyway to it's back is a coast and to the front is a forest. Not to far beyond it is another castle but this one completely abandoned and pretty close to being destroyed. Now onto the characters. Now the guard's father of course is a guard so he grows up in the castle they live in. The peasant boy is alone despite his parents being alive and infact nobility. They just didn't want him in the slightest. The peasant grew up fending for himself and wandering to survive. The peasant boy and Guard boy meet on accident with the guard training a late night to impress his dad when the peasant who was on the other side of the castle wall and decided to climb it getting curious by the noise. The boy climbs a tree by the wall and gets over the wall where the two meet and somewhat become friends. Years later things have definitely changed sure they have stayed friends despite the fact they want to be more. The Guard has become captian and peasant well is still a peasant but is much farther than he had ever been. In fact he's a father. However the boy does show some magical power seeing this someone reports it to the king. The number of magic users in the kingdom has been dwindling a lot of them being used as tools more than people. Despite the fact the guard and peasant are so close the guard follows through with the kings orders to take the boy with the peasant returning home only to find his home destroyed and his boy gone. With all this pain and anger a power awakens in him. You see the current kingdom they live in had be the result of conquering the castle that was destroyed and abandoned. The people who lived there were able to use shadow magic. Although they never threatened anyone people were afraid of their power so they killed them. With everything he has ever had taken or destroyed the peasant with his powers takes the guard as a sort of hostage. He couldn't bring himself to kill the man that betrayed him. The king in the meanwhile thinks of this as an act of war and wants the peasant killed. All the while the pleasant is angrily trying to figure out how to get his son back. What do you guys think? If I did this as an rp I would prefer someone who would want to add onto the plot and make me do all the thinking for it. I dont really think I could write a fic though.  Would anyone be interested in this?
