House Show - The Start Of A IIconic Trio
Timeline: 1 Day After Clash of Champions - WWE Monday Night Raw - Backstage.
Although Destroyer had not been scheduled to wrestle until the following Raw, due to him and Seth still needing time to recovering from their injuries at Clash of Champions: both Billie and Peyton had been asked out of the blue to work a house show that same week in a 6-Person Mixed Tag Team Match.
They didn't know who their opponents were going to be, but Triple H said they could choose who their tag partner could be for the match. To the surprise of both Hunter and The IIconics, Destroyer had offered to team up with them at the House Show.
"You sure? We can find somebody else." Billie asked, a look of concern on her face, to which Destroyer merely shrugged his shoulders a bit, ignoring a slight flinch, before responding.
"I'll be fine enough to wrestle by the house show, Jess. Besides, a little pain ain't gonna stop me, and I hear these house shows can be quite fun." Triple H was skeptical at first, but eventually agreed under the condition that Destroyer is checked over by the medical trainers before the house show, something that the King of Destroyer agreed to.
Needless to say though, both Billie and Peyton began to question Destroyer's arguably already crazy mindset afterwards.
"Are you mad!? You seriously want to wrestle again not even a week after that war ya went through!?" Billie began, causing Destroyer to whack his ear a bit at the volume of her shouting...believe him, she could burst an eardrum when it came down to it. Peyton too to be fair.
"Yeah, you should be resting, Micky!" Peyton agreed whole-heartily. Destroyer merely countered with "I've got to get back into the ring sooner or later, and if it means fighting alongside two of my favourite girls, then that's fine with me."
They eventually relented, which Destroyer mini-smirked at in victory, before the trio began to head off for the hotel they were staying at before the flight the next day. What Destroyer didn't know, though, was both Cassie and Jessica began to think up something that night, and in fact for the next few days after that night...though what it was, Destroyer wouldn't find out yet...
Timeline: Days After House Raw - House Show.
The day of the House Show came quicker than the trio thought. Destroyer was more-or-less calm with it, and was feeling better than he had days prior. Though Peyton insisted on driving the three of them to the event. Destroyer decided not to argue, because he knew better than arguing with the girls when it came to driving.
Though during the whole journey to the event when it was time to head there, and in fact for the entire day as well weirdly, Destroyer occasionally thought he noticed both Billie and Peyton checking him out when they assumed he was asleep or not looking. It made him wonder a bit if what Becky had said before Raw was true in a way...but only briefly.
Billie soon pipped in when they got there and starting grabbing their stuff for the house show from the car. "So, me and Cassie will come out first, then you come out afterwards. They'll be so surprised! Oh! And we also need ta have a word with ya before Raw next week."
Destroyer raised an eyebrow to that. "Why before Raw?" he asked confused, to which Peyton responded with "Because we're busy tonight, and what we wanna say can wait till then."
Destroyer was left with more questions than answers with that, but simply went with it. "Okay, fine, Monday it is." he relented, before they headed inside...and what also earned him some smug looking smirks on the faces of the Aussie beauties.
When the trio got into the venue, Destroyer thought of an idea. "You two go on ahead, I'll be back in a bit. Need to have a word with Hunter." was all the King of Destruction said, confusing both members of The IIconics before Destroyer headed off.
"What could he be plannin'?" Peyton asked, to which Billie shrugged her shoulders a bit, before they went to find the locker room to get ready and catch up with the girls that were there.
Destroyer's Personal Observation:
I know, you're probably curious as to what I'm doing. And if you're not? Tough luck, you're going to find out anyway. Well, I was discussing a possible idea with Triple H regarding the House Show matches...and about a possible team-up in the future.
"So, let me get this straight, you want to have Cassie and Jessica be managers for you? And you want to use a different theme song for when you are in a match with them?" he asked me, trying to get his head around the request. His wife, Stephanie McMahon, was there too, and she seemed intrigued by the idea.
"Yeah. It'd give them something to do, and three of us get on anyway. Could help bring a more vicious or serious side to them too." I continued to convince, at least on the manager side of things.
"I like the idea, Hunter. Besides, you know Dad will probably not be book them on the show otherwise if it was down to him." Stephanie said in agreement. Triple H soon thought for a bit before giving his answer. "Okay. I'll talk with Heyman over it, but it will probably not happen until after Hell In A Cell at the moment. That fine with you?"
I nodded and held my hand to him. "It is. Thanks Hunter." Hunter shook my hand, and we went to sort out the music thing as well. Eventually we found an older one that hadn't been used in years that I seemed to like, and I took a liking to it, so we choose it. The backstage team got to quick work to fit it into the entrance whilst I went to get ready into my gear.
By the time I got out of my locker room, I was already discussing how things would go in the match with 1/3 of mine, Cassie's and Jess's opponents for tonight: "The Future of Flight" himself, Ricochet. The two of us got on rather well, surprisingly, and even came up with a few spots for the match.
When it came to the match itself...well, let's just say the fun was about to begin...
End of pov.
As the night went on, the fans at attendance at the house show, and even the wrestlers too, had a blast of a time at the house show. There was even an odd title match here and there, including another goofy segment with the 24/7 Championship, but I suppose that's to be expected.
Fans had fun watching some rather fun matches, as well as interacting with the wrestlers themselves at times too. House Shows/Live Events were one of those occasions were the wrestlers themselves could have some fun, away from the restraints of story telling and what-not, and interact with the fans if they so choose to.
Both Billie and Peyton weren't going to deny the fans any time to interact or take pictures if need be, because after all they did enjoy it, even if they were playing as heels. Destroyer was in the same mindset, though he would most likely be focused on the match itself.
Soon the first team began to make their way out onto the entrance ramp and down to the ring, and the first ones to come out was Asuka and Kairi Sane, aka "The Kabuki Warrior's".

[Author's Note: Does anyone else find this mash-up of their themes rather...half-baked? It's not bad, but personally I'm not a fan of it].
As the two made their way into the ring, Ricochet's music began to play as he made his way into the ring, receiving a rather big pop by the live crowd as he made his entrance.

Destroyer could hear the crowds cheers for Ricochet, and all he could do was smirk behind his sunglasses. Both he and the IIconics did a fist quickly before Billie and Peyton made their entrance as their music played, to a mixed reaction.

Neither Billie nor Peyton minded the reaction they got. After all, the worst kind of reaction for a wrestler to get was no reaction at all.
Both had a mocking obliviousness as to who their third member could be as they stood at the entrance ramp, awaiting for Destroyer to make his entrance, though most who could see the look or their stance could tell it was a bluff.
And then, his new music played seconds after the titantron began to play...and boy, was the live crowd surprised.

The lighting in the entrance was more-or-less the same as how it now normally was, but the spooky mist was not there with it, and Destroyer came out in, more-or-less, the same get-up he was seen in when he attacked Rollins on Raw.
Destroyer raised his eyebrow a bit when he noticed the crowd was cheering him...actually, that was an understatement: they were cheering so loud, that the roof may as well have been blown off its hinges right now.
Destroyer simply remained in character as he made his way over to his two Aussie Beauties of friends, then surprising the crowd a bit as he fist bumped them both before leading the way with them into the ring.
As they entered the ring, he immediately got into an intimidating face-to-face with Ricochet, quite literally throwing the championship onto the mat with little care as he tried to intimidate "The Future of Flight", causing the fans to buy into the possibility that "The King of Destruction" and "The Future of Flight" might actually hate one-another, even despite this being a Live Event.
Even "The Kabuki Warriors" were slightly intimidated by the overwhelming pressure that he seemed to emit from his presence as well. Billie and Peyton? Well...they were seemingly checking out Destroyer from his intimidating presence.
The ref managed to separate them a bit, but Destroyer head butted Ricochet as this occurred before throwing his jacket in his face as a sign of disrespect, and as a way of telling him to "bring it!", and before long a scrap began to take place between the two as fists started flying at one-another!
Fortunately for the referee: both "The IIconics", who had seemingly snapped out of their gaga-like states long enough to separate the two men, along with "The Kabuki Warriors" managed to pull the two apart long enough for the ref to ring for the bell!
Once the bell rang though: Billie and Peyton released their hold on Destroyer's arms, just as Asuka and Kairi Sane did with Ricochet, before Destroyer charged like a raging bull and Speared Ricochet down to the mat and began laying in stiff punches and elbows into him, before Ricochet managed to power out and mount his own offense against Destroyer!
The next 5 minutes afterwards was some of the most intense and enthralling moments in the beginning of a 6-person tag match, drawing not only the fans who hung onto every action and move like kids watching their favourite show, but also for their respective female tag partners as well.
From Ricochet countering out of 1 or 2 German Suplex's with relative ease, to Destroyer managing to catch and throw Ricochet across the ring mid-flippy move on a number of occasions or kicking him to the ground on one occasion with the "Destruction Kick" when "The Future of Flight" tried a move on a stunned Destroyer from the top rope, though frustratingly for Destroyer he didn't even get a 1 for that, to even Destroyer suicide shooting star press from the ring to Ricochet on the outside when the latter was dazed on the outside!
This caused both "The IIconics" and "The Kabuki Warriors" to seriously up their game when it meant they got in the ring themselves though...and to the surprise of the fans, neither side disappointed, and showed the fans and backstage alike that they were 4 women that should be taken seriously with hard-hitting action, and intense tag team combinations that nobody thought they had or could pull off.
Also, given that this was a live event, meant that they could have some fun a bit as well. Both Billie and Peyton added their usual nature to the rings, but that didn't deter from the in-ring work. And then, there was one moment in particular.
It was minutes after Ricochet and Destroyer were tagged back in, and despite Destroyer's body stinging and screaming out a bit from his previously injuries biting him in the ass from his brutal battle with Ricochet, "The King of Destruction" still managed to ignore it and proceed with the match as they continued to one-up each other and beat the ever living hell out of each other!
The ending of the match soon came swiftly enough: as Ricochet was about to go for the 630 on Destroyer, Destroyer lifted up his knees mere moments before it could connect; causing Ricochet to hit the knee pads and knees of "The King of Destruction", before Destroyer began to make his way up to his feet in similar fashion to Shawn Michaels whenever he jumped up to his after hitting the Top Rope Elbow.
As this was going on - both Billie and Peyton managed to take down Asuka and Kairi Sane by pulling them off of apron and hitting dual Superkicks onto "The Kabuki Warriors" to make sure they were out of the equation!
Destroyer soon delivered the "Destruction Kick" right to Ricochet's jaw, before quickly managing to get him up and then hitting a move similar to that of Bram's "Brighter Side of Suffering" move, to which Destroyer called his version "Brighter Side of Chaos", clean as a whistle before picking up the 3 count victory for the team, much to the surprise and mixed reactions of the crowd as the music he had entered with began to play in the background, and he slowly ascended to his feet with a vicious snarl on his face.

[Author's Note: This is what Destroyer's "Brighter Side of Chaos" looks like, for those who don't know what Bram's "Brighter Side of Suffering" looks like]
Both Billie and Peyton ran into the ring, raising Destroyers arms as they celebrated the victory that Destroyer had picked up for them, before Peyton handed Destroyer the Universal Championship moments later, which he held above him as a sign of his dominance, and an act of defiance and a challenge to all who dared wanted to challenge him!
Of course, it wouldn't be a Live Event without a bit of Live Event silliness: as both Billie and Peyton tried to get Destroyer to do the "IIconic!" pose with them. Destroyer raised his eyebrow to this, even briefly glancing at the fans who encouraged it a little.
Then, in an act of 'Ah, what the fuck': Destroyer put the title down on the mat before joining in on the pose very briefly, much to the humor of the live crowd and even some backstage...
Just goes to show: even someone who acts all tough and badass in and out of the ring in kayfabe, always can show a bit of a humorous side to him...
Author's Side-Note: Hope you enjoyed this fun little chapter. I did start doing this in-between working on my previous chapter, but I wanted to work on my other stories as well before publishing this chapter.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, and liked this little teaser of what will be kayfabe wise...if it can even be called a "teaser" at all...But, again, I hope to see you in the next chapter, and I hope you all have an amazing day!
