Ichigo's pov

I wake up feeling horrible, my head hurts bad.... my skin feels sticky with sweat as the I feel the whole bed itself is wet with my own sweat. I try to move but groan in the process. All my muscles are sore everywhere! My throat is sore too so I can't groan out or talk much without it hurting. 

"Oh man!" Kon said as he jumps on my head "You look terrible Ichigo! You can't go to school like this!"

"But... my work as a substitute soul reaper...." I cough as my throat burns on fire "I can't take... a sick day..."

"Well too bad! But... who is going to care of you?..... Your dad left and so did your sisters... they all though you were sleeping in or maybe they thought you left all ready so they didn't bother to check up  you!"

I sigh, but soon regret doing that as pain shots through my head "Then who's.... going to take care of.... me? You can't Kon...."

Kon thinks long and hard until an idea pop into his head "I know! (y/n) slept in for school too! She can take care of you!"

My heart does a flip. My whole face heats up quickly, but luckily Kon just see it as my fever

"W-wait Kon! I can't have... (y/n) taking care of me!"

"Oi! Why not? She's the only person in the house who can take care of you!"

"Well.... I suppose your right..."

"I'll go get her right now!"

Kon runs out of my room as everything starts to get warm... I don't know if it's my fever or the fact that my crust is going to take care of me.... with us home alone....

I shake my head and mentally curse myself for that. Kon comes back with a half-asleep (y/n). She wears a tang top and shorts that look cute on her that make my whole face blush. 

"Hi Ichigo..." She yawns "You need me to take care of you?......"

"Y-yeah.... sorry (y/n)"

"Oh no! It's okay! I really don't mind! I slept in so I get to miss school and take care of you! I thinks it's a win, win with me!"

I smile at her "Yeah.... I bet...."

(y/n) comes over and feels my head, frowning at the hot temperature "Your too hot. I'll get you a wet cloth!"

She quickly comes back with a wet cloth and dabs it on my forehead. I sigh in bliss as the coldness of the cloth made my fever go down a little. I open my eyes to find her smiling down at me. She blush at the smile and quickly replaced it as a nervous smile 

"S-sorry about that... I was just smiling at you because you looked kinda cute like that..."

I blush as she flusters and turns her head to face the other way. I chuckled at the cuteness of her shyness. 

"It's okay (y/n). You don't have to be shy about saying that... I think it's cute!"

She gasp a tiny bit as she faces me with a look of surprise "R-really?.... Ah! But I can't be thinking this! I have to take care of you! I'll make you some soup!"

I nod my head with a smile as she quickly makes me some hot chicken noddle soup. She helps me sit up in bed as I lean on her for support

"Now! Say Ahhh!" I open my mouth as (y/n) puts the delicious soup into my mouth. I smiled as it tasted almost as good as Yuzu's cooking. She feeds me the rest and puts me back down on the bed as I started to get dizzy again

"Thanks (y/n).... I feel a lot better now...." I smile at her as I think'You would so be a good wife for me.... the way you feed me and take care of me... I like it a lot...'

"Thanks! I tried my best! I'm just glad it turned out great!" She pulls out a tub of strawberry ice cream from behind her back "It's time for something nice and cold for that throat of yours!"

I chuckle as I eat the ice cream with her. we both finish it as (y/n) helped finish it with me

"I hoped your feeling better Ichigo! I know I'm not the best person for you too be letting you take of you! But I do it because I owe you for taking me into your family when I don't got anyone!"

I stare at her in shock, I knew she lived alone... I didn't think she didn't have a family... I wonder what happened? I know it's not the best time to ask what happened... I quickly shake off the stare I have at her with warm kind eyes that she seems to love.

"You don't owe me anything (y/n). Your always welcomed into my family... Your one of us now!"

(y/n) stopped smiling as her eyes started to tear up from pure joy. I feel the wet warm tears as they land on my face. I reach up to hug her as she hugged me back tightly

"Thank you Ichigo! You have no idea how much thoughts words mean too me!!!"

She sobs into my arms as I stroke her hair to calm her down "Shhhh! It's okay... It's okay..."

I smile as I realized the one being taken care of wasn't me, but (y/n). As soon as she calms down I feel her go limp and know she had fallen asleep in my arms. I move to make room for her and set her down besides me... She sniffled a little as I kissed her forehead. She smiled a little in her sleep as I smile back but with more love and warmth. I look down at her sleeping face, thinking about everything

"How can I tell (y/n) I love her...... what if she doesn't love me back?.... No! I can't think that!"

My thoughts soon get interrupted as I hear voices I know come inside.

"Where's Ichigo?! I thought he would be back from school by now!" I hear Yuzu's voice as I hear her starting dinner

"Maybe he's visiting a friends's house. He does come home late a lot now..." says Karin

"naw! Ichigo know he's need to back before seven clock sharp!" Dad's voice boobs inside that house "Beside..... I didn't see him down here this morning..."

"I hope Ichigo's alright! I hear from one of Ichigo's classmates said that (y/n) was gone too! I hope their both alright!"

"Don't worry Yuzu! Your daddy knows they are alright! I just know it!"

"Sure... listen to the man who kicks his son everyday when he gets home"

I hear dad start crying again. I chuckle at my weird, but loving family behavior

"I'll go check to see if Ichigo's in his room!" I hear Yuzu's happy voice as I panic. She can't see (y/n) in bed with me like this! I have to th-

"Ichigo?.... are you in here?..." Yuzu opens the door making the dark room light a way to my bed with me and (y/n), her face look as she sleeps peacefully in it

Yuzu gasp at the as I quiet shhh her. "Yuzu! Please don't say anything to Karin or dad! I was sick and (y/n) toke care of me! She feel asleep on my bed so please don't say anything!"

Yuzu thinks it over. She gives me her cute usual smiles "Of course! I'll just leave you two alone then! I wouldn't want this cute moment to get ruined!"

I nod my head as the room become quiet again except the quiet breathing from (y/n). I smile at the door to (y/n) as I lay back down on my bed. I stare at (y/n) cute sleeping face as until I fall asleep in bed with her... Knowing she was the cure for his fever.
