Part 10

Choi Kim POV:

Its's D-Day which means the day of the competition, one would be very surprised of how many people have showed up to see this competition. Wasn't really meant to be for the public but hey it makes it seem more real and the pressure is on for the Skai and Yuna!

People from everywhere actually came! And reporters who came to get words out of me and Yuna for being here. Even how my break is going right now and if I am returning to Ice skating.

The two is already warming up and the judges are doing some announcements and other commentary things. Some as things kicks off, Yuna will be first for her performance, Eros. Then after her performance will be Skai performane, Unconditional and Sad Love.

"First, we have Kang Yuna who will be representing South Korea and apart of the Junior Women Ice Skating Division. Soon to make her senior debut and with her short program, In Regards to...Eros." One of the announcers and judges says as Yuna made her way on to the ice.

The crowd clapped and cheered for her as she appears on the ice and prepares to 'Woo' them with her form of Eros. A new type of Kang Yuna is on ice.

She has a difficult program and had a hard to interpreting what is Eros to her just like with Skai having a hard time interpreting Unconditional Love. They both found it.

"Spread eagle into a triple axel..." was announced. "Landed." The crowd cheered for the first jump, the axel. What a good combination.

"Oh no! She stepped out of her quadruple Salchow! But what a great recovery from it. She managed to stay on her feet and putting her hand down." Another announcement came.

She may be nervous out there, for her, it's a 5 out of 10 chance to land a quadruple Salchow with and without pressure. We should practice more on that too or keep it basic until it's time for her senior debut.

I took a small glance at Skai though, I can't actually read her but I know she took a little time to help Yuna on her quads. I wonder what she is thinking at that moment.

"A quadruple tow loop followed by a triple toe loop! She nailed that everyone!" the announcer said as I turn to look.

She did great with those, she only completed the jumps and quads on her second half followed by spins and spirals...not as smart but she nailed it. As expected of Kang Yuna though, she makes her break throughs even during the tough times.

Yet I can see it now...she really have gotten mature with this performance. Her Eros...

Now to see how Skai does her performance, Apage, Unconditional and Sad Love. What is her Agape...what is her unconditional love. What is it, What is it, What! Is it!

Yuna came off the ice and casted me a look that I know what is. She is asking of advice already, how usual of her. But for now let's see how Skai does, I can to see her performance, what will become of her...

"And now, a 3 time champion in the Junior Grand Prix Final and Junior World Championship. Soon to make her Grand Senior Division debut with programs choreographed by her old coach Plisetsky but with now Choi Kim, Yuta 'Skai' Babivecha!" The announcer says as Skai finally steps onto the ice.

I remember yesterday when picking out costumes she said she has one in mind and it won't be coming from my sets of old costumes from my Junior days. A little offended by her choice of words but I was curious.

Now I see why...

(A/N: Just imagine it's Skai)

She looks ethreal, not the Devil On Ice but she is dressed like an Angel or even a Swan on Ice. But will she become that? I also noticed she let her hair grow these days, she must of put extensions, I like it.

"She will be skating to Once Again by Mad Clown and Nayoung. Her Agape..." the announcer says before the music starts.

(A/N: Using the no rap version for a more angelic mood, I couldn't get just the clip of Yuri skating to agape to cover this so I just put the music in and will describe her steps instead. Thank you)

Right in the beginning I seen it, her look of vulnerability. The way her body swayed with the piano music. I am even surprised she chose the no rap version, comes to show she is still a bit rebellious.

"Her first jump is a triple Axel. And landed perfectly." The announcer said as everyone cheered.

I can tell her performance and everything has changed, she is completely different from what people may call her the Devil On Ice. Way different from what I witness at the practices.

No one can look away from this developed Ice Swan. Something so beautiful and pure...davai...

"We're approaching the quadruples where she was told she shouldn't do." the announcer said. He is right about that, naughty girl. "A quadruple Salchow followed by a triple toe loop! Excellent! So elegant and smooth!"

Everyone kept cheering and hyping her up, yet her face shows a little bit more of emotion. What is going through her mind?

"Here is comes everyone, her final jump, a quadruple toe loop!" as said and she of course landed that perfectly, her body swaying and following the music is really outstanding.

And then her signature move...combination spins with raised arms for extra points. That a girl...

Finally her performance ended with her ending move...What a majestic Ice Swan on Ice...What a wonderful creation I made. And the crowd went wild for her as she greeted the audience at the end. She was indeed out of breath but it was worth it.

Yet I don't see a smile, I see a single tear run past her cheek. Something I never seen from Skai at all.

I wonder what happened and what she was thinking of during that performance. Indeed it was her best performance yet, but I wonder.

What made her cry?
