Chapter VII
Your head was aching like crazy and you couldn't remember why. The second you touched the sensitive skin, the memories came flooding back. The raft, it had been sinking, the log knocked you out. Is this heaven? Or hell? You think, but the answer came shortly after.
"Good afternoon," a man wearing a sailor's costume said, carrying a tray with a glass of water and multiple pills on it, "you've been out for about two days. You might not want to sit up straight away." You had steadied your arms beside your sides to try and sit up, but let yourself fall back again after the sailor's warning.
"Where... am I?" You started to ask, "Is this the spaceship?"
The sailor gave you a funny look. He wasn't very young, around his fifties he must've been. His face was a bit wrinkled and he had a moustache and beard. "Spaceship? This is an American military vessel. We were practicing survival and rescuing up north and we were just on our way back." He snickered. "You's came along greatly timed, after we practiced sea rescue." He set down the tray beside your bed on a small table. Only now you noticed the room faintly moving side to side, indicating you were still on the water.
"How long until we get back to England?" You asked. The sailor gave you a more worried look.
-"We're not headed there, love. We're going back to America. We will pass NYC closely, so we might give you's a lift on a little raft..." You inhaled sharply, remembering the raft that you'd been on. "Try to sit up now, I'll get you something to eat."
You place your hands beside you again, and try to move. "Fucking - ouch..." You wince and discover an entire new kind of pain in your back. The sailor raised his eyebrows. "Still hurting, eh? Just lie down and try not to move too much. I'll get you some painkillers." You nod. "Oh! I'm Luke, by the way!" He extended his hand to yours, and lightly shook your hand. Then he turned around and left.
It took him a long time to return with some soup. In the time he had been gone, something must've happened to him, because as cheery as he was earlier, as cranky he was now. He had a large frown on his forehead. "Here is your soup." He nearly threw the plastic container with soup at you head.
"Thanks, next time aim for my mouth instead of my entire face." You said, shaking your head.
-"Sorry dear, it's just.. your friend is being quite difficult to deal with." He replied. You jerked your head up, nearly straining a muscle in your neck.
"My friend?" You couldn't remember bringing a friend onto your adventure. Wasn't I alone on that raft? Luke let out a laugh. Who was I with?!
"Tall, dark-haired lad. Very easy to anger." He described no one that you knew. "His name, he says, is Kylo Ren." It felt like lightning struck your body. That name certainly did ring a bell. A very large bell. But you weren't exactly sure which bell. His face was still a blur in your mind, and how you knew him too.
"How do I know him?" You said out loud, while thinking.
-"I don't know, kid," Luke answered, "but he sure did want to talk with you." A darkness fell over his eyes. "He didn't seem very happy. He tried to strangle two of my fellow colleagues. We've had to really tie him up good to save ourselves."
You were feeling embarrassed. This nice man was only trying to take care of you, how could your supposed friend Kylo treat him like that. "You know, I can't exactly remember him.." You decided to speak the truth. Luke looked down with some worry in in his eyes.
"It'll come to you, surely." He smiled and left you alone again. You closed your eyes and suddenly you knew. Kylo, the weird man, Mr Choke, the anger machine. Yes, I know him. You thought. I must go to him.
- Don't let anyone know.
There it was again! The voice that you'd heard before in your head. All that had happened flooded back into your brain. He fell out of the sky, claimed to be from outer-space, he had this secret power that he used to choke people. And during your journey, there had been this strange voice inside your head, giving you advice; now it had done the same again.
Don't let anyone know that I'm looking for him. Easy. You slid out of bed, feeling much better after the painkillers. You closed your eyes and drew the path in your head that would lead you to Kylo. With your eyes opened you commenced your journey through the ship. The soft movements of the ship felt off, but you paid it no mind. Just find the staircase on the E-deck and climb two flights, then twice a right and a left, through the hallway, half a flight down. Your mind was leading you the entire way, sometimes warning you about someone around the corner, so you'd halt and wait until they were out of sight. You went around one of the last corners when suddenly your knees failed to support you and you collapsed. Suddenly it felt like your shoulder was set on fire and almost made you scream out. You were squirming on the ground when you couldn't breathe anymore. It didn't feel the same as being choked, but as if all oxygen had just dropped out of the ship. In a last attempt at survival, you started to drag yourself along the floor, crawling to the third door on the right. You started to hear muffled screams and the sound of someone smashing glasses. Bright blue light shone from the tiny window in next to the door. Just a few more metres... You let out a soft groan, still nearly unable to move due to the pain in your shoulder and the lack of strength in your knees, plus also your scorching lungs from not being able to breathe. When you reached the door, you tried opening it by pushing against the heavy metal, but it wouldn't budge. You looked up and saw the door handle with a lock underneath. It was locked. You remembered the light coming from a window beside the door en moved your body a little more so you could watch through the thick, fortified glass. A sight had surely never surprised you more than this one.

Hey people reading this, first of all THANKS! Thanks for reading this, it means a lot to me. I love writing and I love Star Wars. Now, I'm having quite a dilemma, so I'm asking it to you: would you like to see Catherine and Kylo to make it to the spaceship or would you like them to stay on earth for a little more time, and see their adventures here? I think I could write some nice stories if they stay on earth, but also have some ideas for when they do get to Kylo's spaceship.
If you have a preference, let me know!!! I'll continue writing on both outcomes, because eventually, I think they'll reach space anyhow. Or maybe not. (:
