CHAPTER ONE
"YEAH, AND IM A FAIRY PRINCESS"

"COME ON GOLDBERG! My grandma is a better goalie then you and she has a hip replacement!" Reece Parker shouted as she, Jesse Hall, and her twin brother Ty took shots on Goldberg who was the goalie for the district 5 hockey team.

"Keep it down please! Hey, please? Come on! hey Hey, there's no need for this! Let's talk? Come on, I'm your friend aren't I?" Goldberg whined as they kept shooting puck after puck at him.

"Man, come on Goldberg. At least try to stop it," Jesse complained, "I'm getting tired of chasing the puck."

"It won't kill you man," Reece sighed with a roll of her brown eyes. She shot another puck at him only for Goldberg to jump out of the way.

"But if he keeps this up, I might kill him." Ty added, a smirk on his face.

"Be carful man, it almost hit me that time." Goldberg exclaimed as he threw his arms in the air. Reece only shrugged in response, before shooting at him again.

"Goldberg you're goalie, it's supposed to hit you." Charlie Conway explained with a sigh as he skated over.

"Does that sound stupid to anyone else?!"

"Nope just you." Ty winked as he  shot another puck at Goldberg, hitting him right in the chest making causing the poor boy to fall over.

"Come on man!" The goalie groaned from the ice.

The sound of an engine caused the district 5 team to turn around, only to see black limo driving out onto the ice. "What the hell?" Reece mumbled in confusion as her and the team skate towards it.

"Y'all chill out alright? I'll take care of it." Jesse stated, as he skated to the front of the group.

"He's a drug runner. I just know it." Peter declares as the door to the Limo opened, and a professional looking man in a fancy suit with a trench coat stepped out.

"Yo, dude, you obviously in the wrong hood. This is my dominion! This is a drug free zone you understand? We ain't buying nothing." Jesse exclaimed with a smirk. "I'm feeling generous today, so I'm gonna let you get your sorry vanilla booty outta here. Before we use your eyeballs as hockey pucks."

"Thanks bro," the man said sarcastically, "but I'm not going home till I take care of business." As he said this he started reaching into his coat Making the district 5 team believe that he had a gun, they all quickly back up.

"Fuck," Reece yelled in fear as she pushes Ty in front of her. But the man only pulled out a pice of paper making them all let out sighs of relief.

"District 5 pee wee hockey team, I'm Gordon Bombay. I'm the new coach." Bombay said, his voice full of boredom.

They whole team laughed, "Oh  yeah and I'm a fairy princess!" Reece stated sarcastically as she let out a snort.

  "Yeah right," Jesse cackled.

"Afraid so dude. Got the roster right hereAverman, Lester. Conway, Charlie. Hall, Terry. Hall, Jesse. Parker, Ty. Parker, Reece." Coach Bombay read before looking back at the team. "So here's the long and the short of it I hate hockey and I don't like kids."

"Wow you are perfect for this job." Reece spoke with a raised eyebrow. Bombay sent a glare at the girl, but she just smiled sweetly in return.

"Was that supposed to be a pep talk?" Peter laughed.

"Look I'm sure this'll be a great bonding experience. Maybe one day, one of you will even write a book about it in jail." Coach spoke with a fake smile.

"10 bucks on Ty." Reece called out, but let out a groan of pain after being elbowed in the gut. She glared at her brother before kicking him in the shin. They started slapping at each other but coach Bombay quickly pulled them apart.

"Is this normal." He asked the team, who all laughed and nodded as an answer. He let out a sigh "is there a goalie?"

"Sort of," Ty answered with a smirk.

"Uh, Only for a little while." Goldberg explained from the back of the group, "I'm moving back to Philly."

"Thank you, for sharing that," Bombay said sarcastically.

"No problem," Goldberg answered, not catching on to the sarcasm. Reece face palmed, wondering why she chose to play hockey instead of soccer.

"All right, get out on the ice!" Coach Bombay ordered, "Let me see what you can do."

"Uh, just so you know, we really suck." Lester Averman, Reece's best friend, said as the team headed out onto the ice. Reece and Averman have been best friends ever since the first grade. When someone stole Averman's lunch and Reece punched them right in the nose
and that was how their weird friendship was born.

"Hey, I'll decide who sucks around here." Couch Bombay snapped, as Reece and Averman skated away.

Reece dropped the puck on the ice, and tried to get out of the way when they all went for it. But she ended up falling along with everyone else. "Ty get off me," Reece groaned as she pushed her brother off of her. She quickly got back up and skated over to Averman.

"The Pete Meister, Mr. Rabble-Rouser passing the puck over to Jesse-Roonie the enforcer." Averman commented, as he watched the team practise.

"What's wrong with you?" Reese questioned her friend, but he ignored her.

"Ouch, that hurt." Averman stated, when Peter slipped on the ice in front of them. Reece nodded in agreement. "Oh it's the Connie-Meister-" Averman started but was cut off by Connie pushing him down. "The velvet hammer," He groaned from the ground.

Connie grabbed Reece's arm and pulled her towards coach. "Hi coach, I'm Connie, this is Reece. Do you play?"

"No," Coach Bombay answered bluntly. "So what's our record anyway?"

"Ø and 9. One was pretty close though! We only lost by 5, and we almost scored a goal too." Connie explained with a smile as the rest of the team skated over.

"So what do we do now, coach?" Jessie asked, emphasizing the word coach.

"What did your old coach have you do?" Bombay asked.

"He just yelled a lot," Charlie shrugged.

"Dude, never shut up," Reece mumbled. but her twin heard, causing him to laugh.

"Yeah that's how he hurt his arm," Jessie said.

"His arm?" Coach Bombay questioned.

"Yeah one minute he's yelling at us, 'hey you little bastards where'd you learn to play? Oh you suck, skate you little bas-" Peter imitated their last coaches heart attack before falling to the ground, making the team laugh, leaving the new Coach annoyed.

"That shut him up," Reece laughed.

"Heart attack... great," Couch Bombay mumbled. "Alright, look, I gotta make a phone call, so keep scrimmaging. You, you, you, and you, against you four."

"Hey, we got names you know?" Goldberg added.

"I'm sure you do, and I bet they're very nice names. I might even learn them." Bombay said as he opened the door to his limo. "For now, I'll be in my office. Oh, and if you need anything, fax me." He sent the team a fake smile, before climbing into the limo and shutting the door.

"Jeez what a jerk," Peter grumbled as he kicked at the ground.

"Where the hell do they find these ass hats." Reece expressed as she ran a hand through her brown hair.

"Hey guys!" Jesse shouts to get everyone's attention. He smiles mischievously, "let's jump the limo." The last time that boy had on the smile, him and the twins spent a night in a jail cell. But, you only line once, you know? The team shrugs, before jumping on the limo and shaking it. Averman opens the door and everyone climbs in, Reece taking a seat beside Charlie on the floor.

"We want a ride!" Connie started chanted and everyone joins in. "We want a ride, hey! We want a ride, hey! We want a ride, hey!"

"I could kill one of them just to set an example?!" The limo driver yelled, causing Reece to glare daggers into the back of the mans head.

"You even try I'll slit your throat dick face." The female Parker twin threatened, and smirked when Coach Bombay looked at her horrified. "What? I'm violent."

"Take them for a spin! Anything!" Bombay pleaded, and let out a sigh of relief when the chanting stopped.

"Wow, I feel like Madonna." Connie gushed with a grin that made Reece laugh.

"You wish," Karp mumbled.

"Shut up Karp!" Connie shouted. They all stopped talking when a disgusting smell hit them like a rock. Reece put her hand over her nose to try and make the smell disappear, as she glared at Goldberg.

"GOLDBERG!"

"Young man, what did you eat?" Coach Bombay asked in disgust.

"Nothing, it wasn't me," Goldberg denied.

"Open a window," Reece gagged.

"Oh man, it's my mom." Charlie exclaimed in panic as he looks out the window to see his mom and the twins mom making their way over. Charlie's mom looked pissed. The twins mom however.... Carly just had a smirk on her face, as always. He looked at the twins, "Yours to, mine looks pissed."

Gordon pushes both Charlie and Reece down as Charlie's mom opens the door. "Alright, everybody out of the car, right now!" She ordered sternly as she grabs Bombay's arm and pulls him aside. "Are you out of your mind?"

"Lady, lady, relax." Bombay says, trying to calm the frantic woman down.

"What where you thinking? Putting that car on the ice? My son was in that car. One crack in the ice, that's all it would take, one crack."

"The ice isn't gonna crack."

"Who the hell do you think you are."

"Gordon Bombay." Carly Parker spoke as she read his drivers licence. She snatched his wallet when he was distracted. "Who the hell names their kid Gordon? That's just mean."

"Is that my wallet?" Coach Bombay gaped with wide eyes as he looked at the wallet in her hands. Wondering how she got it.

"Oh yeah. Here you go," She shrugged as handed it back to him. He grabbed it with hesitation, before putting it back in his coat pocket.

"The new hockey coach," Coach Bombay sighs.

"The new hockey coach?" Ms. Conway repeated in shock. "They send you over here to coach the team, and you endanger their lives."

"What danger?" Coach Bombay snapped "I grew up on the ice. I know when it's safe to drive on."

"How do you know?" Ms. Conway raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I just know, alright?"

"Well, listen Mr Zen Masteryou may be in tune with the ice universe. But when it comes to our children 'I just know' won't cut it."

"Damn your sass level is at 100 today." Carly laughed, before looking over at her kids. "Come on, Betty just fixed up that old motorcycle. I say we take it for a spin."

Reese and Ty both grin before saying, "awesome."

"See you at the game tomorrow guys." Reece called over her shoulder as she and her brother ran after their mother. "Where doomed tomorrow, aren't we?"

Ty scoffed "Oh yeah."
