"Hm?"

Shira was taking a nap when her ears twitched at someone singing. Her blue eyes open, stretching her body as she got up on her feet. The she cat glanced around from her sleeping spot. She was lying on a flat stone, beneath the shadows of a tree. It's not only a good place to nap but also well hidden. A perfect spot to spy on someone while remaining unseen.

Scanning around the forest, she spotted a familiar brown fur walking by. Once it entered the light, she could   see it was Diego. It looked like he was just taking a walk. Smiling at him, she was about to call his name but he beat her to it first.

🎶"See me on my way. See on my way. Hmmm mmm"🎶

Her blue eyes widen, ears up and twitching to make sure her hearing was working. Diego was just singing some song with a smile on his face, lost in his world without any idea that his mate was watching him.

🎶"I would like to reach out my hand
I may see you, I may tell you to run"🎶

Shira couldn't believe how good his voice sounded when he sung. He had his ways to amaze her. But this was something that really caught her by surprise. It was always amusing for her to catch the ferocious hunter in his most weakest moments like being a softie or singing to himself.

His singing started to fade away, which she noticed, so she glanced up and found him walking away, completely unaware that Shira had been watching him in the open. "He didn't even see me. How satisfying" she whispered with amusement, getting up to follow him.

Diego had arrived at a waterhole, lapping the water for a drink. His ears perked to hear someone arriving, but he was calm as he caught Shira's scent. "Hey, Diego" she called out to him, joining his side for a drink. "Hey Kitty. How's it going?" He asked her as she glanced away to hide the amused smile on her face.

"Nothing much. I wanted to ask you if you heard anything strange" she told him, making him look at her. "What did you hear?" He asked since he had been walking, and it was quiet most of the time. He wondered what she heard while hoping his senses didn't get rusty as he aged.

"Well..." she said, turning to whisper in his ear. "It sounded like this. See me on my way. See you on my way. Hmmm, mmm. "

His eyes widened, and his mouth dropped once he recognized the lyrics. He never sung it around Shira as he was embarrassed and worried she would tease him. The only way she knew the lyrics was if she caught him singing in secret.

He turned his head to look at her, furthering amusing her as she giggled. "Word of advice. Make sure you really are alone when you sing. Also, nice singing. Who knew you had a good voice" she told him with amusement on her features as she sashayed away from him. Once he pondered everything, he immediately forgot about taking a drink and ran after her.

"Shira! You better not tell anyone!!!"
