Back with the Herd.

"Woohooo! Hahaha!" Tackle and Vibe laughed. Julian and Peaches were using their trunks to throw them up in the air, catching them with their trunks while Kiko watched them. Some of the Herd was hanging out near the sloth's home just chilling.

The sabers were sun bathing while Sid and Brooke were trying to make some ski boards out of the wood. Granny was watching them oddly while Teddy gave her a massage.

"Sydney what in the world are you doing?" She asked her grandson as Teddy paused to watch too, curious. "I am working on an invention that might help us defeat the Rouges. There's no doubt that they're really clever. So I'm gonna invent stuff that can help us" Sid explained to his grandma proudly.

"Or make things worse" Diego added, not far and lying on his back. The sloth glared at him annoyed. Brooke placed her hand on Sid's, smiling reassuringly "Don't worry Sydney. I'm sure you'll make great things luv" she told him confident as Sid smiled at her. "Thanks Brooke" he told her happy and cheered up and kissed her cheek.

"Hello there mammals!"  Buck's voice came up from above as everyone looked up. The dino birds landed on the ground as Julian and Peaches set the cub and pup down gently. Buck jumped off with ease while the possum bros struggle to get off and both fell on the snow.

Peaches approached the one eye weasel "Anything Uncle Buck?" She asked him curious. Vibe, Tackle and Kiko watched curiously.

But the painted hyena pup's ears perked when her name was whispered and she looked behind her. Ruby was there, motioning for her to follow because the Scavenger Pack had an important meeting.

Vibe followed her but didn't notice Tackle and Kiko spotted her and curious, the two followed her. Back with the others, Buck shook his head no.

"Nope. It looks like the Rouges know what we're up to. Finding their territory I mean. We almost had them" Buck explained as he pulled out Sasha's arrow from before and examined it.

"That's the third time they outran us and went into hiding" Diego said concern as he rolled onto his stomach and everyone had worried looks.

Back with the Scavenger Pack...

"He's what?!" Jake asked alarmed when Saya told him about Adah leaving. Talia, Vibe and Ruby were also surprised. "He's leaving us?" Talia  asked alarmed. "He's thinks that's for the best for now" Saya explained to them calmly.

Tackle and Kiko were in the bushes hidden and watching. "He can't go! We need him. Adah is the only one who defeated Ramous. He knows how to keep that cranky cat away from the Herd" Vibe reminded them urgently as Tackle's ears perked interested.

"The same solution can't always work Vibe" Adah told them as he walked up to them. "Besides, I'm not getting any younger. I can't fight him forever. And I don't want to fight him" Adah told them serious, the last part he sounded upset as his eyes looked down. He really didn't want to fight Ramous. Tackle sensed it but wondered why.

Adah looked back at them "It's important that you help the Herd and find a way to stop the Rouges and to beware of Aspik. Saya and I will remain low but we will be watching and if neccessary, we will step in" Adah explained to them as the pack listened carefully.

The blue saber noticed Tackle and Kiko watching and so did the kids. "Run!" Tackle whispered alarmed as he and Kiko quickly scurried back to the Herd. But Adah just smiled and chuckled, finding it adorable.

He then turned to Talia smiling "Talia. I am leaving you in charge of the pack. You will be the temporary alpha" he told her and she stared at him surprised but she nodded to him, determined not to fail him. "I won't let you down Adah" she told him confident as blue saber leaned in and their foreheads touch in a way of respect.

Adah nodded to the rest of his friends who nodded back to him, determined and confident to fulfill the mission their leader gave them. Adah and Saya turned around and took off leaving as the Scavenger Pack watched them go until they disappeared.

Talia took a deep breath as she turned around to face everyone, knowing she was now responsible for the pack. "Let's go informed the Herd" Talia told them all as the pack turned around and started leaving. But Vibe paused and looked behind her at the direction where Adah and Saya ran to. She was a little worried how they would take down the Rouges but her ears perked at Jake calling her and she continued walking...but with an idea forming.
