Back to the Herd, everyone was still waiting. Diego was resting on a rock, his face worried for his cub.

Sid was looking from a high point, seeing if he can spot the dino birds. "Are you done yet?" Manny asked irritated. Sid was standing on top of his head and it was bugging the mammoth. "Just a bit longer" he told the mammoth calmly but felt the mammoth shook his head to get the sloth off.

"That's what you said five minutes ago!" He told him irritated as the sloth struggled to keep balance. "Ok ok calm down. And lower your voice. Diego's already worried about the little guy" Sid shushed him as he took a quick worried glance at their saber friend.

Manny spotted something in the sky and he squinted his eyes at it. Once it got close enough, he was able to make the shape of it and the mammoth recognized it as the dink birds and his eyes widen when he recognized them.

"Hey Sid. I can see the dino birds!" He told the sloth as Sid spun around to take a look. "Hey you're right! And...Hey! I can see Tackle! He's here!" Sid yelled excited to see that Buck found their little friend.

"Hey!" Sid called out to everyone as the mammoth turned around so fast, that the the fell off him. "They're back! And it looks like found the others!" Manny called out to everyone as the sloth stood up.

Diego's ears twitched at the news and he stood up on his feet and looked up to the sky as both the Herd and the Scavenger Pack showed up.

The dino birds were now close enough that everyone could see Buck, the possums and the kids safe and sound. Diego smiled to see his cub again as he ran towards them.

The dino birds landed on the ground as their friends approached them. Buck and the possums got off as Tackle and Kiko joined them. Buck gently scratched the cub's ear, earning a purr from him "Glad you're ok fuzzball" he told him relieved but then they heard someone groaning and they turned around.

Vibe was lying on her back on the ground, groaning. "Vibe. Are you ok?" He asked her worriedly. "Yep. I just feel sick. This is the last time I ride anything in the sky" she said, feeling sick. Kiko chuckled at her woozy reaction.

Then, a shadow loomed over Vibe and she looked up. Talia was standing over her with a glare. The pup stood up and kept her head and ears down, waiting to be scolded. "Hi Talia" she said quietly.

"Never run off like again. Drag Tackle and Kiko in this again and I will come after you myself" she scolded her hard as Vibe kept her head down.

But when she least expect it, the wolf's glare softened into a soft smile and she gently nudged her head up. Vibe stared at her surprised. "But I'm glad you're ok" she told her relieved. Vibe flashed a smile at her as Jake came up, glad to see his two girls happy.

"Granny!" Sid said relieved as he ran to his grandma and hugged her tight. "Hey! Too tight!" She complained, squirming to get out of his grip.

Tackle spotted his parents, Shira showing up as she walked up to her cub "Hey fuzzball. Glad to see you in one piece" she told him, rubbing his head. Tackle smiled at his mom until his eyes were on his dad. His dad stood away from the others.

Tackle looked down hesitated, afraid his dad was mad with him. Shira notice and she brought her face close enough to whisper to him "You know, your dad was the most worried out of all us. He even tried to come after you when the storm came" she told him and he looked up at her surprised and back to his dad.

The cub walked to his father with his head low. Once he was close to his dad, he lifted his head up to make eye contact, his dad stared at him as he waited.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have run off like that. It was stupid of me. I just...wanted you to trust me again. That's all" he apologized sincerely. All the young cub wanted was his father's trust. But now, staring in Diego's green eyes, he saw relief in them. He felt awful that he made his dad worry so much, especially when the storm showed up.

Buck approached the two cats "You know Diego, we actually met Adah. And he's not bad. He actually helped us get out of that storm" Buck informed, backing up the cub.

Diego stayed quiet as he thought about this. He looked back at his cub and let out a sigh "I still don't trust this Adah" he said as Tackle looked down disappointed. Diego, however, smiled at his cub. "But I trust you. And if you say he's good, then I'll believe you" he told him and Tackle looked up surprised.

But it quickly changed to a big smile and he nuzzled his dad's leg as Diego smiled to see his cub happy. Tackle was glad to have his dad's trust again. Shira smiled to see her two boys have worked things out.

"Eh you three kids are too much for me!" Granny yelled out as she walked away "You're even worse than Sydney ya fuzzballs!" She complained as Sid followed her "Um Granny? Where did you leave my ski?" He asked her as the slothes walked away.

Kiko walked up to his best friend "Seriously? Even after we protected her?" He said dumbfounded. "For once I can agree with ya" Vibe joined in with him. While she still didn't like the ferret much, there were some things they can agree on.

Tackle then thought of something. If he and his two friends were going to start going on adventures like this, they were gonna need a team name though. Something told Tackle that this wouldn't be there last adventure.

The cub thought for a bit. His own team was just like the Herd. A trio getting into trouble and danger, making friends along the way, facing all kinds of bad guys, each one worse than the last. Despite all the doubts, fears and dangers, his Herd remained fearless through it all and protected one another. Fearless...protect...

"The Fearless Protectors" he said and his dad stared at him puzzled. "Huh?" He said confused as everyone looked at him.

"The Fearless Protectors. That will be the name for our team. Me, Vibe and Kiko" he explained as his two friends looked at eachother confused. Tackle looked at his dad.

"Starting our own adventures. Getting into danger and trouble. Facing bad guys. Making new friends. Just like my Herd" he explained proudly.

Diego smiled at his cub as he gave him a nuzzle "Sounds good to me. Just stick close to us alright" he told him as Tackle flashed a smile, showing one sabertooth.

"Hey Talia" Diego said, looking at the wolf. "We'll help you take down the Rouges" he told them as the Herd stared at the saber surprised but excited. Talia, Jake, Vibe and Ruby smiled, knowing their leader would be pleased. The more help the better.

"Oh yeah!" Vibe said excited as she spun around happy. Kiko groaned, not too thrilled to have this wild pup along the adventure.

"Just remember. Tackle is my best friend. Ok" he told her firmly as Vibe smirked at him "We'll see. In the end, Tackle will be the one deciding" she told him confident, their rivalry growing more and more.

"Oh man" everyone heard the sloth come back. He looked upset. "Sid what's wrong?" Ellie asked concerned as the sloth shook his head. "Apparently Granny left my ski behind. I gotta go get it back" he said worriedly as he was about to turn around and leave but Manny grabbed him with his trunk.

"Oh no you don't. We're all going together. No more running off for anyone" Manny told him firmly. "I know where the ski is so I'll lead the way" Buck told them excited as he zoomed back to the dino birds.

"Hold on" Diego told his two friends as he looked back at the kids. He smiled at them "Let's bring the Fearless Protectors with us. They'll need to learn things from the experts" Diego explained as Tackle, Vibe and Kiko looked at him excited.

Vibe then remembered something and turned to her caretakers. "Talia. Jake. Can I go with them? Please?" She asked them, giving them the puppy eyes. Jake and Talia looked at eachother and they smiled.

"Alright. Just stay out of trouble V" Talia told her calmly as Vibe smiled big "Come on guys! Let's go find that ski!" She yelled as she took off. "Come on Kiko! Hop on!" Tackle told his best friend as the ferret got on and the cub tooked off. The Herd chuckled at their excitement as the new smaller Herd, the Fearless Protectors, took off laughing with the Herd following them, ready for new adventures to come.
