"This is the second time I'm feeling heartbreak father! I hate it!" you said as you hugged your knees. Your mother brought you inside the house an hour ago and you rested on the couch. You decided to talk with your father about it in your subconscious. He hugged you and you then buried your face into his shirt.

"When was the first time?" he asked as he rubbed your back. You felt more tears fall down your face as you cried. "When you died." "I'm here for you now, always have and will! But my cherry blossom, things happen in life and sometimes we cannot control them."

You sniffed, "I-i understand that now but...father why does it still hurt?" "Because...you still love him." you cried harder when you heard those words. "But he never loved me!! Why did he lie?! Why did he act so sweet and so loving to me?! Why did he say those words to me?! Why does he choose pixal over me?! I-i am just absolutely befuddled!"

Your father was silent for awhile then sighed, "I don't know kirsty...it were pretense...Zane really did seem like a very nice droid. Why don't you talk to your mother about it? You need physical reassurance. She must be worried about you, wondering why you're sitting on the couch looking like you passed out." your father says as he wipes your tears and you stand back up.

"O-okay." you say then wake yourself up. You open your watery eyes and see your mother petting T-Grey on her lap. "M-mother?" You say and she looks up at you with relief and worry in her eyes. "Kirstin! Finally! You awake!" she says and puts your dog down to go and give you a hug.

"Are you feeling well now?" "I-i still feel emotional pain mother." you say with a crack in your voice. "Aww, come now. These things take time to get over. Just stay here for awhile and you'll be alright." she says as she rubs your back. "I-i still love him...I-i mean if he comes back most likely fifty percent of me will accept him back, B-but fifty percent of me knows that he did me wrong and I shouldn't accept him back...B-but I don't understand why I feel this way!!" you sobbed.

Your two dogs came over to you, whimpering and nuzzling their heads on your leg. All this comfort felt good, it was well needed. "I know, this is a confusing time. Boys do this, ha! Believe me, when i was your age that was all i saw them do. Break hearts and use girls. Its absolutely despicable! But, I don't believe this is something your droid side can solve for you. This is a natural type situation, your human emotions are the most affected."

"W-what should I-i do?" "Clear your mind off this situation! How about we watch your favorite movie and eat your favorite flavor ice cream! Would you like that kirsty?" Your mom suggests with a smile. "I shouldn't be sitting here while the world is at stake but...I need to get back to normal. Sure, mother." you say as you take a tissue and blow your nose. "Coming right up!"

Hours later it had become night time. You stayed home all day. You cleared your mind a little but you still felt the hurt from the breakup. It was hard getting the situation off your mind. Thoughts come so fast. While your mother and you were on the couch sharing a blanket, watching your favorite tv show now, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it." she says and gets up.

Your heart starts racing and you wonder if it's Zane. You also tried not to think about that but, It really hard. "Kirstin! Your friend is here!" your mother calls you from the door. You wrap yourself in the blanket and get up and go to the door.

You saw Jay at the door, all bundled up in a thick coat and scarf with a worried expression on his face. "Yeah. We need to talk." He says as you let him in. "It's about Zane isn't it?" He nods his head and you sigh and sit back down on the couch.

"I-i do not want to talk about him." You said trying not to cry. "Okay look, clearly different things went down for both of us. You tell me what happened, and I'll tell you what's really going on." "Jay...it's hard."

"I understand completely! I know how it feels to loose the one you love. To have them out of your life. For you to not be the cause of their happiness anymore. I know, trust me." He says as he sits down next to you. You sigh and decide to tell him what happened.

Your mother came back with two hot cups of hot cocoa. When you finished, Jay had an expression of upset on his face. "Zane would never say or do that! Look Kirstin, that guy, wasn't Zane!" "Seemed like him to me.." you said with a frown and swish the marshmallows around in the cocoa.

"Zane's...gone. The aliens abducted him who knows when, but that guy who 'broke up with you', was only his replacement. You're still with Zane, believe me I'm sure." Jay says taking a sip from his mug and giving you a small smile.

"Really?" "Yeah! So, you're still on the mission with us because tonight, we're gonna find him and the others and get them back!" He said reaching into his blue backpack and handing you your spacesuit.

You smile then raise a brow in confusion. "Wait, how did you know Zane was abducted?" "Oh, he and replacement Kai attacked Lloyd, then Cole and I knew. Oh yeah, Kai is gone too." "Oh, I see."

"Mhm! Well! Enough sitting around! We got a human race to save! You still in?" Jay says putting his mug down and standing back up. You nod and put your cup down. "If my Zane is in trouble, then yes, I am in." "WOOHOO! Let's go!! Put on your space suit!" You smile at his excitement and quickly go to your room to get ready.

You walk out of your room, now in your new spacesuit and Maggie and T-Grey immediately greet you with excitement. You chuckle and ruffle their fur, "Like my attire guys?" You ask them and they bark as if to say yes.

You head into the living room where Jay and your mother are and they look up when they see you. "Ready to go!" You say putting your cross bag on with all your important things you might need.

"Aww my little astronaut!!" Your mother says and gives you a hug. You hug her back and chuckle at the thought. "Mother! You know I want to work for them not be them! I'm doing this to help my friends!" She let's go from the hug and smiles, "I know I'm only joking! Look, you be safe okay."

"I will. My second goal is to return home in one piece." "Good." Jay then gets up, "C'mon, We should get going. The others are already on their way to the meet up point." "Okay. Goodbye mother! You stay safe as well!" You said heading to the door.

"Yeah! Bye Kirstin's mom!! I'm taking your daughter on an intergalactic adventure!!" Jay says as he heads out the door. You heard your mother laugh and you close the door behind you. "We gotta be fast getting there." Jay said as he summoned his dragon. "Alright then, let's go!" He helped you get on and you two were off.

Within 5 minutes, Jay landed his dragon and you got off as he unsummoned it. Cole and Lloyd go over to you guys and you feel relieved to be back on the team. "Glad to have you back Kirstin!" Lloyd says with a side smile. "Yeah, sorry about the whole 'Fake Zane' situation." Cole said and you give him a small smile.

"It's alright, because I know the real one is up there." "So is the fake one..." Jay mumbled and you immediately turned to him. "W-what?" "N-nothing!" "Jaayyy!! You didn't tell her!!" Lloyd said. "What! It would've been too much information at a time!!" You sigh, "It doesn't matter. What's the plan right now?"

"Okay, see over yonder? There's an alien base right there." Cole pointed and you all looked over. "There is a bunch of them!" You said. "I know, which is why we gotta be careful sneaking in. We can't risk being seen. Once we get to a pod we'll figure out how it works and fly it on up into space!" Lloyd said and you nod.

"Oh! And if we do get seen, you'll need this." Jay said handing you a gauntlet. "Was this-" "Zane's? Yup! Found it on the ground earlier when we came here to find this camp. They must've kidnaped him and abducted him here or something. Not sure why it was here. But, it's in better hands with you." You slide it on your wrist with a nod.

"Alright guys. Let's go in." Cole says pulling his ninja mask over. The others do the same and you follow closely behind them as you all sneak into the camp.

You all scurried and hid across the camp and behind trees, bushes, and cargo boxes. You knew being a ninja wasn't easy. Just then you accidentally stepped on a branch which made a loud Crack!

You looked around for the ninja but they were nowhere to be found. "Oh dear.." you murmured and hid behind a cargo box when a group of aliens turned around to see where the noise came from.

You hoped none of them came over to the box you were hiding behind. You closed your eyes and wondered where the ninja could be. You heard footsteps then someone grab you by the wrist and pull you away. You opened your eyes to see it was Jay.

You signed in relief. "We lost you for a minute there! C'mon! They found a pod!" Jay says as you scurried along next to him. "Thanks for saving me back there." You said. "Anytime!"

You two went up a hill and at the top were, Cole and Lloyd and an alien pod. "Caught up? Good because...not sure how this works." Cole says and you enter in. You look around at the controls and everything was in Tracei. "Uh okay...I'll see what I can do. Scanning pod now." You said and switch to screen vision.

You scan the pod and try to translate the language into english. "Okay got it! So this is the controls to start the engine, this one fires up the blasters, this is the steering wheel, these pedals make it stop and go faster, these buttons activate the weapons and the rest I don't think you guys should touch." You tell them and switch to your normal vision.

"Got it! Thanks Kirstin." Lloyd says. "You guys get the ship ready, I wanna show Kirstin something cool!" Jay says pulling you away from the two. "What is it?" You said. Jay reaches into his pocket and puts something into your hand.

You open your palm and see it was the necklace Zane gave you. "Your mom thought you might want it back. Guess you took it off after what happened." He says. You smile and put it back around your neck. "Thank you."

Jay smiles and nods then, looks up at the sky. "Woah cool!! Check out all the stars!" "Still unbelievable that we are going up there." You said with a smile. "Ever wish on a star before?" He asks you. "Why should I?" "Why not! Who knows, it might come true."

"I-I've never done it before." "C'mon, we'll do it together!" Jay said with excitement. You giggle then agree. "Alright." "Guys! Hurry up! We're waisting time!" Cole calls out to you two. "Yeah! Yeah! Give us two minutes!" Jay calls back.

"Okay say it with me! Starlight, star bright." "Starlight...star bright." "First star I see tonight." "First star...I see tonight." "I wish I may." "I wish, i may." "I wish I might." "I wish, I might." "Have this wish, I wish tonight." "Have this wish...I wish tonight." You finished repeating after him.

"Now make a wish to yourself! When you're done, head back to the pod alright." Jay said as he made a quick wish then went to the pod. You look up at the stars and picked the brightest looking one.

"Not sure why I'm wishing on a hot ball of burning gas but, I wish...I could see Zane again. If he really is up there, i wish he'll be alright." "I miss and love him so much. I wish to...be in his arms again and to be able to talk to him, hug him and kiss him."

You sigh as a determined smile comes across your face. "If you are up on that ship Zane...I will find you. You have always gone out of your way to protect and save me...now it is I, that must return the favor." You then turn around and head to the pod with the others. Once you're all inside and buckled up, the pod then takes off for space.
