Leafing through pages
This time, a long year ago

It's like talking to an entirely different person

And the ink stained pages take me back
To when I didn't truly know what I had

The biggest smiles
"This is the happiest I've ever seen you"
Oh trust me, I know.
I couldn't ever be mad at it.

Again
Read all of the lovestruck letters
They sure were something, weren't they?

How sweet it all is to start
And even sweeter to remember
