Ice

Everything is now ready and were all heading out towards Texas in the jets.

Do you know how hard it is to get things ready in just two days? especially with a man taunting you in your head but its a good thing I learned to remove my thoughts of the preparations from my mind so he doesn't know our plans.

I sighed trying to relax in my seat. right now we boarded the planes and jets towards our destination. I'm trying to relax before this fight, well as much as I can relax with my thoughts.

I cant help but feel that that mans voice sounds a little familiar but I just cant put my finger on it....oh well.

For the past two days everyone has been rushing making protective suits weapons and the cyrum. We have gotten no where with that anticyrum, I know they were all hoping to finish it in time to get back my power, to tell you the truth so was I.

Anyway I created battle tactics with the council along with Chris and the others. honestly I'm not looking foward to this fight, I cant get rid of this bad feeling that something will happen that will change everything.

"Ice" a voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked up to see Chris looking at me with worry. My emotions have been all over the place these days, yes I said emotions their seeping in making me lose control of my powers over time making my friends worry about me.

"I'm fine" I sighed getting up streching. I can already feel the heat of Texas and with me prefering the cold its making me uncomftarble. I bet Chris is rejoicing thought with his fire powers.

I stepped out of the jet feeling the heat intesify. Why couldn't it be the north pole or something seriously I hate fighting in the heat actually I hate the heat. I made the air around me colder and sighed in relief.

I saw Chris shiver beside me before stepping away. "really" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"yes I know you prefer the heat but I hate it" I told him bluntly.

"besides she's like a personal cooler." Lee apeared beside me sighing in content. I rolled my eyes and went into our operation tent where we will get everything ready. Did I mention we were in a bloody desert.

Yeah we found the conquerers who were hiding not so discreetly in a wearhouse in this desert. I think or know thats their base where they came from, where the cyrums came from. once I get my hands on the leader I will torture him for even thinking about making that cyrum in the first place. I lost one of my powers because of it.

"hey" Claranda greeted. yeah we are kind of stuck with each other now since were overlooking preparations to Vanessa's irritation. those two are annoying going at each others throats within 5 feet of each other.

"hey" I greeted her back. "we have to check if everything is ready for tomorrow right?" I asked her.

"yeah" she nodded yawning. "damn this heat" she muttered.

I chuckled a little. "alright lets go" I told her "see you guys later" I turned towards Lee and Chris.

"aww my cooler" Lee pouted. I rolled my eyes and walked away with Claranda next to me.

"wow you are like a cooler" she came closer to me.

I chuckled standing in front of the biggest tent around. I'm dreading this checkup and by Claranda's mind she is too.

I sighed "Lets get started."

Guns, knives, basukas, tanks, bombs, hackers, anticyrums.

I'm beat. I can also tell this sure will be a bloody fight.

I fell asleep snuggling in my bed. I couldn't take the heat so I basicly froze it. ah sweet cold.

I hope everything turns out alright but the bad feelings I keep having say otherwise.

7:00 AM

I stood in fornt of all the agents before me today armed and ready. They didn't wear much clothing in this heat but wore what was needed to protect themselves.

I would make creatures to take the cyrum bullets for them but in this heat no way. My ice may be unbreakable as well as unmeltable but it takes energy to keep it like that, energy I'll need. Besides those cyrum bullets are able to break or melt my ice.

The directors stood to my right standing in front of the crowd.

"agents" The elder administrator spoke making them all quiet down.

"we are about to engage a fight that determines not only our fates but the citizens of the United States and all around the world. Lives will be lost in the process but we have to do everything we can to suceed. everything hangs in the balance." way to sugar coat it. no pressure at all.

"you will listen to these 7 agents" as he said that I stepped up along with Claranda, Vanessa, Derek, Lee,Phil and Chris. each of us have their own group of agents to lead at all sides althought I'm the main commander, It was decided by a very rational way. In other words I put a knife at anyones throat who challenged me for that position since most backed off hearing I was chosen. smart choice.

I dont want anyone else leading this fight other than me against that man.

"this is a battle of a life time. Avenge those agents who have been slaughtered by these conquerers" he stated and I saw everyone tense at the mention of the attack 4 days ago.

"be safe agents" He stated before turning to me. "anything you would like to add" yes this damn speech is long and annoying. sorry heat makes me grumpy.

"lets just get it over with by New Years" I stated grumpily. The administrators said nothing at my disrespect knowing the effect the heat and all this pressure has on me. Also they know Whats on New Years.

I really want to get this over by New years though I really dont want to waste my New years or birthday fighting them.

I guess I'm hoping by New years everything will be over. A new year new peace.

How wrong I was to think that.
