Ice

Todays the day of the talent show. It's about five in the morning when all shows and activities will began till midnight comes and it will be christmas.

Some how Vanessa and Lee got me to do a number with them. They said and I quote "you already have to participate anyway" yeah but I dont want to participate twice, one is enough.

Mind you only high level agents shosen by administrators can attend, ten from each society. These agents can pick anyone in their society to perform with them. Vanessa Derek and I were chosen along with others in our society.

Derek is doing a number with Phil and Chris who were all laughing at me when the girls forced me to perfom with them.

Words gotten out and Claranda got two other girls to perform with her to go against the three of us. Isn't my life just perfect.

Anyway for the past weeks I've been meeting with the directors along with the others going over battle strategies and other things while Lee and I and a couple of other scientists from other organizations work on the cure.

I, also with some others from other societies check on weapons and clothing trying to make them bullet proof and all.

I also help try to figure out their location and when their making their move and I think you can guess that I supervise pretty much everything.

and yes every agent in this building was notified of the crisis arising.

Me? well I still hear that man in my head and I haven't told anyone for good reasons. I'll pretty much be suspected of betrayal and they will think I give him information or he sees it throught me, doesn't help how I supervise everything.

I'm positive they will take me out of this mission.

also he's getting stronger and I'm afraid that I'm the only one to take him out even with my weakenned powers.

No matter what I will win and I will complete my mission even if it costs me my life.

Its a good thing I closed my mind off for good or Vanessa would read my thoughts and make sure no matter what that I dont fight in this war with thoughts like that. but this is something I have to do.

"you ready to lose Ice" I snapped out of my thoughts to see Claranda and two other girls behind her. must be her groupies since their all wearing similar cosrumes.

"Like she's going to lose, she going to freeze throught your so called talent." Vanessa retorted. when did she get here?

I looked to my left and saw Lee here also glaring at Claranda and her groupies. I guess Vanessa passed off her hate to her.

Claranda snorted "your Ice jokes aren't so funny anymore Vanessa" Claranda narrowed her eyes at her.

Vanessa was about to retort when one of the crew men shouted over to us.

"get ready for the opening get ready girls" He called to Claranda and I.

For the opening ceromony each societies top agents perform along with some backup singers and dancers. 

I nodded and went into my dressing room.

I sighed, I had my hair flattened and my yes are glowing in anticipation. its been years since I've done this.

I put on my black shorts and a tanktop stopping over my stomach. I put on my violet jacket with an I in the back and my gloves.

I put on my black boots and was ready to go.

I stepped  only to see the very first agent that challenged me earlier, I found out his name was Jake."hey" Hh greeted, I just nodded in acknowledgement.

I saw Claranda come out of her dressing room in a similar oufit as mine but her jacket was blue like her eyes with a C in the back. she looked around and saw us before coming over.

"good luck" she put out her hand. I rolled my eyes and shook it.

"you too" I told her before walking away to my spot.

"you two are weird you know" Jake spoke surprising me.

"how so?" I turned to him.

"well one minute you two are friendly the next you're at each others necks." he chuckled.

I chuckled along with him "I guess you could say were frenemies." 

"you know you're not as emotionless and ruthless they say you are" he told me. well I'm flattered but it also means I'm getting weak.

"thats only because you haven't seen my bad side" I said menacingly before walking passed him hearing him shiver.

"are you ready?" the crew man asked as we all nodded.

"good its show time." he told us pulling back the curtain revealing the crowd.

lets get this over with.

and so I sang and danced, we weresinging and dancing to 'goin' in' by Jennifer Lopez. It was awsome judging by the crowd they were going wild.

I sang 'bang bang' with Vanessa and Lee.

Derek performed 'Beserk' with Chris and Phil.

Claranda already sang her solo 'no place I rather be' and its my turn to perform my solo.

The last performance of the day before the ending and countdown.

My song ghost. 

 I keep going to the river to pray
