Ice

I walked out of the room. something is weird with me today.

I dont know I feel lighter a warm fuzy feeling in my chest.

wait I swear I put my walls up. Ah oh well. you see? something is very wrong.

I walked or pretty much skipped down the hall, I saw snowflakes falling down near me as I walked down. thats new. oh well.

I skipped down the hall towards my office, did I mention I was barefoot? the things agent could misplace, katana's, knives, daggers, poison.

oh well. I dont know why I am feeling so care free and light and happy?

I skipped into the loby seeing the snowflakes already falling there. What is with my powers these days?

I walked into the loby to see everyone silent staring at the snowflakes then turned towards me when I walked in.

I read Chris's mind earlier and found out they really care.

thats so sweet of them. what is going on today?

I just continued walking when some agent nervously came up to me. I looked closer and saw the agents we saved that day and the girl I saved. the reason for my power is now lost.

why am I having the opposite effect, instead of being angry I feel-

"I'm sorry" The girl whispered snapping me out of my thoughts.

"come again" I tilted my head.

"I'm sorry, you got hurt and lost your power all because of me" She spoke with her head down nervously playing with her fingers.

poor girl guilt must be eating her alive. wait, does anyone see anything wrong with that thought?

I sighed lifting her head up. She closed her eyes fear rolling off her in waves.

"open your eyes" I spoke softly to her.

she hesitantly opened her eyes and met mines.

"yes it was your fault" I started and tears came to her eyes. what, I'm not going to lie to her, honesty is the best policy.

"I forgive you" her eyes widenned at that. "just make sure the coast is clear before you come out in the open next time, because no one will want to take a bullet like that for you much less three, it hurts like hell" I told her sighing.

"oh thank you thank you" She hugged. I dont think she caught the last part. oh well.

"yeah yeah" I pushed her off of me feeling uncomfertable. 

" always keep your guard up" I told her and her friends who were all staring at me.

"what" I asked seeing as the whole loby was staring at me.

"you're different" Chris spoke behind me. huh he caught up.

"yeah, which reminds me I've got to figure that out" I spoke starting towards my office.

"see yah" I stopped before I exited the loby.

"and thanks for worrying about me" I  winked smirking. I swear I saw some of the boys blush. some girls too but that was just freaky.

Lesbians creep me out. I shivered at the thought of it. I have nothing against them its just it is very uncomfertable and kind of creepy when a girl hits on you. I 've been there.

I walked towards my office humming as snowflakes fell over head. seriously what is happening to me today. My powers, my behavior.

We finally got to the office. yes we, Chris was quiet staring at me the whole time when we walked there. dont blamed him, I would stare at me too wait nope already did I have a mirror.

I giggled as I opened the door to my office. The guys all froze as they saw me in the door way before I was crushed into a bear hug.

"Ice" Vanessa squealed. I just awkwardly patted her back.

"its god to have you back" Derek gave me a hug.

"somewhat" I heard Chris mutter.

"what was that" Derek asked.

"nothing" chris waved him off while Vanessa stared at him wide eyed. she really needs to stay out of peoples minds.

"so how has everything been?" I asked them as I sat down. I need shoes. I thought as I got up going to the lab.

looks like Lee camped out. I turned towards her raising an eyebrow, "yeah, I've been trying to finish the cyrum so you know" she said sadly.

"alright" I shrugged taking one of her slippers. "I'm borrowing these" I told her as I put it on.

"why were you walking bare foot and whats with the snow" Phil gestured to the snow flakes coming down in the office.

"I dont know. this morning I forgot to put them all but oh well who knew it was fun to walk around barefoot, as for the snowflakes I have no idea but their so pretty" I giggled.

I looked around and saw they weree all staring in shock.

"what?" I asked.

"you just giggled" Lee said uneasy.

"so" I asked rocking back and forth on my feet while they kept staring. me, I'm thinking of cotton candy, I dont know but its delicious thought its looks like a cloud, a pink cloud. maby I could go to the fair. oohh I could ride the faris wheel and watch the beautiful sunset.

"oh no" Vanessa suddenly said her eyes widenning. No wonder I felt a disturbance in my mind, she was in my mind. but I'm confused.

"Derek get me a calender" Derek looked at her confused but did as she said. 

soon he was back with a calender from the office and handed it to Vanessa. Vanessa flipped throught it "crap" she whispered.

"what?" Lee asked looking over her shoulder at the calender.

"Ice, its the beginning of the month" she said slowly showing me the calender. beginning of the month? oooh was I going to have a party?

"whats at the beginning of the month?" I asked excitedly. am I getting a puppy?! that would be awsome.

"Its your time of the month" Vanessa bit her lip. 

I froze and instantly sobered up. "god dammit, no wonder I was thinking of cotton candy and puppies" I shivered.

"you were thinking of cotton candy and puppies?" Chris asked amused.

"wait I'm confused, her time of the month isn't that her-"

"yup" Vanessa cut Lee off. The boys finally caught on.

"why is she like that thought? I've seen girls on their period they are not like that." Chris pointed at me. so mean.

"yeah well when Ice gets her time of the month she pretty much acts the opposite of her personality." Derek sighed.

"what does that mean" Phil asked. what is he an idiot.

"it means I love you" I said happily.

"you do" Lee Phil and Chris all yelled.

"no thats her alter ego talking" Vanessa said annoyed as I was about to say yes. I hate my life, I thought as I ran to the bathroom feeling something between my legs.

I cant wait for this to be over.

we all watched as Ice sprinted out of the office. "uumm" I pointed where she was standing.

"don't worry she just needs a-" ok I dont want to hear the rest of that sentence.

"dont finish that" I cut off Vanessa.

"so she is going to be like this all day until her time of the month is finished" I asked curiously.

"yup" Derek sighed.

"great Ice is actually going to nice for once" Phil whooped.

"are you kidding, I hate it when the time of the month comes. Its so annoying, she's so nice and possitive and she really gets under my skin" Vanessa said irritated. huh the roles have swiched.

"come on it cant be that bad" I chuckled "I mean Ice is nice for once."

Vanessa and Derek just chuckled.

"please, Ice being nice is just annoying" she rolled her eyes.

"and just plain creepy" Derek shittered.

I just rolled my eyes.

3 hours later

ok they were right.

a nice Ice is just annoying and very creepy.

"hot dogs, pockodots, ooohh that rhymes" She giggled spinning around in her office chair. I just sat there all of us worned out.

Vanessa and Derek left sometime ago so Ice was in our care. Phil, Lee and I.

I know girls are are just horrible and annoying on their period but this is a new meaning. she is annoyingly horribly nice, literally.

Some random agent was talking about he rather die than breaking a girls heart and then Ice came out of no where.

"really, you poor guy, I'll help you with that."

turns out the guys had different ideas of her helping out and got a knife near his throat before I stopped her.

I asked her why she did it, she said and I quote;

"well he looked like he was having a hard time and said he rather die so I was being nice and tried to help the poor guy."

yeah, annoyingly, horribly, creepily nice. is that even consider as nice?

but now I am so worned out, one minute she's in pain the next she's bouncing all over the walls. can this day get any worst?

I heard something fall and instantly got up. didn't we move everything away from her?

I looked up and saw she was holding a remote, the screens remote.

oh no, the last thing on the screen was a video of-

I gulped as she watched the video "what is this" she asked.

I turned to Lee and Phill but they all had the 'no way in hell am I telling her' look on their face looking at me. 

great. "what is this" Ice demanded this time.  Is there a nice way to tell her news she wont like?

"uumm well, after we took care of you, the clean up crew told us something desturbing also giving us a video." I tried to stall.

"and what would that be?" Ice asked still looking at the video. no point of keeping it from her, she will find out anyway.

if not from me then that video.

"one of them got away" I breathed out as I saw the part where one of the man sood up limping out of the store a boody leg and stomach.

I looked over at Ice and saw she was livid. I stepped back towards the door along with Lee and Phil.

"One what?!" She yelled agrily turning to us her Violet eyes glowing freezing us in place. or was it the cold temperature in the room.

"uuummm, what was the one thing Vanessa warned us about again?" Lee whispered still watching Ice's every move.

My eyes widenned as I remembered.

"I know she's all happy and nice now but be careful" she said with all seriousness.

"what do you mean?" I asked.

"well she's all nice and all but you do not want her angry in this state"  She shivered.

"I'm confused" I said trying to make sense of what she just said.

"well you know how periods get mood swings" I nodded "yeah well she's happy and very nice right now but get her angry you can say bye bye nice Ice and hello to death" 

"death? isn't that exagerating?" I rlled my eyes.

she gave me a pointed look. "if she's this happy and nice now how do you think she will be when she's angry?" she asked.

very very angry because right now she is very happy and nice. oh yeah definitely hello to death.

"glad you get the concept whatever you do, don't get her angry"

"whatever you do, dont get her angry" Phil saidstaring wide eyed at the Livid Ice.

well fuck my life
