On chapter 22 there is a picture of Ice's office to refresh your memory

Ice

I had to be fast.

When I froze the crumb, it was unexpectedly melting, or at least the Ice. Now I have to freeze it every minute or seconds to make sure that doesn't happen. There's no telling what would happen, especially when I get to the agency.

I need a containment and fast. I thought as I got closer to the agency ignoring Chris's complaints. I know they have Questions but that can wait.

This is no good, not only is it breaking the Ice, but its draining my power and it's getting harder and harder to keep it frozen.

I pulled in front of the building taking off my seat belt, running into the building ignoring Chris's calls.

I kept running towards my office everyone moving out the way. Ok I might have moved them aside using my powers. I think I made a dent on the wall when I threw some across the room.

In my defense it was an accident. I am focusing on my power so I can keep the sphere in good shape, some of that concentration may have slipped into my other power making it stronger than I intended.

I reached my office slamming the door open not caring if it stays open, or break. Break please it's like steel, besides I could always get that fixed.

I made my way towards one of the doors in my office.

The first one that was near the back of the office I aloud the others to go through. It contained most of the weapons I owned.

The second door to its left thought........

I walked up to it turning the left doorknob left then right making a small screen appear on the right.

I pressed my palm over it and stepped back as it opened.

After so many years, looks like I'm going to use it again.

Derek

We pretty much ran into the building after Lee told us Ice mad dashed into the building like a mad woman.

What has her in a hurry?

I walked in to see puzzled and fearful agents and in the middle was a path. Nearby was a dent on the wall and a couple getting up.

You know what, I'll find out later. I thought as I took the path along with Vanessa. Coincidently it led to Ice's office.

The door was wide open as we walked in. One thing that got our attention was that that door was open.

"After all those years huh" Vanessa stated quietly.

"Yeah" I answered walking toward the room we have not seen for years.

With all its computers, containments, cyrums, experiments.

Ice's Lab

I hurried and put the frozen Cyrum inside one of my containment cubes to the left.

As I put it in and set all the settings, nothing gets in, or out of that cube.

Soon enough with nothing supporting it I heard the Ice crack, just as Vanessa and Derek walked in.

They froze in their steps not believing what they heard. I can't blame them, in all these years nothing has been able to brake or even crack my Ice unless I will it too. Fire, Drills, bulldozers, wrecking ball.

Suddenly I felt the strained from using and draining too much of my power come back to me and I felt a little dizzy.

Soon Enough Chris walked in "whoa" he froze in his steps.

Soon enough the twins followed. "Oh. My. God" Lee stared wide eyed gaping.

Speaking of god, this must be haven to her. She is always interested in science and loves working in the lab.

'I just died and went to heaven' I heard her thoughts.

See? I may have to kick her out when she moves in here. Good thing I have good security.

I felt my head suddenly hurting. I clutched my head groaning a little at the sudden ache.

"You alright Ice?" Derek asked worry in his tone.

Before I could answer him I felt my legs give out under me and I was falling unable to catch myself from shock.

"Ice!" I heard them call out.

I closed my eyes waiting for impact but I just felt arms around me. I opened my eyes to see Derek's grey eyes staring back at me with worry.

Yeah, using mind reading when I already strained myself using too much power was not such a good idea.

I felt myself being picked up and I opened my eyes that I didn't even know I closed. I saw we were heading towards the back of the room where two white lounging chairs were.

Derek set me down on one of them and sat down next to me while the girls both sat on the other one.

"You alright?" Derek asked putting a stray piece of hair behind my ears.

"Yeah I just strained my powers keeping that intact on the way here" I nodded towards the sphere inside the cube. Is it me or are there more cracks?

"I still can't believe it's breaking your ice" Vanessa muttered as another crack rang through the air.

"Not only is it breaking it, but it was absorbing my powers when I was trying to keep it frozen" I sighed.

"Intense" Phil commented. As if on cue another crack of the ice breaking rang out. At least it's having a hard time breaking my ice. Still got it baby.

Derek hands were cupping my cheeks, how that happened I have no idea.

"Ok so-" Chris started.

"What was that? How did I do that? Since when?" I cut him off. Ok Why am I still using my powers again. I thought as my headache came back after settling down.

"How did you know?" He gaped.

"Mind reading" I pointed poked my head. "Not a great choice to use it in this condition thought" I winced as my head hurt more when I poked my head.

"wait wait wait" Phil looked around confused "you can read minds" He turned to me.

I just smirk at him while he blushes tomatoes red I couldn't help but laugh along with Vanessa. The things that go through men's minds.

We both sobered up as everyone stared from us to Phil.

"What are your powers exactly?" Lee asked curious.

It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I turned to Chris, Phil and Lee.

"Cytokinesis and telepathy" I answered them.

They took it in for a moment.

"But how is that possible, I never heard of anyone having two, much less three powers how did you get them." Lee asked flustered.

At that comment I wiped all emotion from my face.

"I didn't get these powers, these powers are what got me here in the first place." I stated emotionlessly but on the inside, I feel my walls cracking.

Which reminds me any thoughts based on chapter 20 to 23 about this trap.
