Ice

"Come on people, have you ever even ice skated before. Don't answer that it was a rhetorical question. "I rubbed my temples staring at the sight in front of me.

"Wow they suck" Vanessa skated next to me.

"That's an understatement" Derek chuckled.

What are we doing?

For the past week we have been working on adapting to you surroundings especially during a fight. Thought they seemed out of it when I came back from my kill. Cleanup lasted about a week by the way, they were missing some.......... body parts.  But hey at least they were smart enough to send the ones with much more tolerance. More or less.

Anyway, since most of us have powers that tempers with our surroundings, were re learning to adapt to make fighting easier. No surprises.

Basically we set the booth I usually train in with my clone, on fire. You know an obstacle Couse with flames in case Chris's power goes out of control and to get used to it better. That lasted for Monday to wend day, short am mi unit of time but we don't really have the time.

Next we did an obstacle course with Derek's shadows. You know how to work in the dark and around his shadows and stuff. Today were working on ice. They basically have to learn how to move easily on ice.

Well I thought it was basic. I mean seriously, Chris fell on his butt when he first stepped on the ice. Phil isn't doing so well either, Vanessa and Derek are already used to it and Lee isn't so bad but she needs to work on it.

I was interrupted by a loud thud and groaning. Icon safely say Chris and Phil both will have cramps in the morning.

"Tell me again why we're doing this?" Chris groaned.

"So that when I attack and make and Ice floor to make enemies end up like you are now you won't have much a problem." I rolled my eyes.

He tried getting up but fell again. Great. I sighed. As I skated over to him.

"Come on" I held out my hand for him to take. He stared suspiciously and hesitantly put his hand in mine. I rolled my eyes at his paranoia and pulled him up.

"Whoa" I spoke as he was slipping struggling to stand straight almost pulling me down with me. Before he could I grabbed his other hand pulling him.

"Spread your out your legs" I ordered.

"I didn't know you wanted me this bad" he wiggled his eyebrows. I just raised an eyebrow and let him go.

"Whoa" started slipping before he spread his legs out and gained his balance. Perfect.

"What was that for?!" he yelled.

"You gained balance didn't you?" I asked him.

"Oh, so you did that for me to learn" He stated. Mum I've been told not to lie.

"Sure lets go with that" I stated skating away from him. Then again I don't really listen much..........ok barely........... Rarely.

"Hey get back here" he called out following me. I just skated away from him as he followed a little slow and wobbling.  Soon enough he was going faster barely even tipping.

Soon I felt arms around me pulling me into a warm chest.  "Got you" I felt his breath on my ears.

I leaned my head up since he was taller than me and whispered into his ears "congratulations, you just learned how to skate"

He froze for a moment there and I used the opportunity to get out of his arms. He stared at me in realization.  "I did it"

I just nodded at him "so everything you did was to help me learn" like I said, I've been told not to lie, I also said I rarely listen so......

"Of course" I smiled. I turned around skating towards Phil "not really" I said under my breath.

"What?!"Chris bellowed. Oops I guess he heard. I heard the others laughing on the sidelines.

"Need help Phil?" I asked him. "No thanks, Lee's got me" he smiled along with Lee who was holding him.

"Suit yourself" I shrugged skit to ng towards the entrance.

"Actually I suit my life" he called after me. Ok now he's over reacting.

I took off my skates and walked off. I stood there watching. Looks like everyone gets the concept now. Good enough for me...

"Ok time to practice with shoes." I yelled at them.

Vanessa Lee and I put on heels since it's similar to what we fight in and the boys put on their normal shoes.

Soon enough we, well they became pos. I just did it for fun.

"Want to go to the food court with us?"  Derek put his arms over my shoulders.

I looked at my watch 5:53. Hmm why not.

"Sure" I let him lead me the others following.  Chris looks a little stiff. Oh well must be still sore.

We walked in the food court located in the society building. You can find all the food stores from McDonalds to taco bell. The best part about it is that in the summer the walls and roof can be put down in the summer.

Come to think of it I barely keep track of the date. I looked up at the pole in the middle of the food court. November 15 huh. It's been two months.

I was dragged to taco Bell by Derek the gang following. I raised an eyebrow at his choice.

"What I can really go for a taco right now" he shrugged.

"A taco" I raised my eyebrows even more.

"Okay not a taco many more" he rolled his eyes. Damn right, those three can eat like pigs without a care in the world. And I thought Derek was a gentlemen. Well a lesson in life, not all gentlemen's are as you want them to be. Start with their eating habits.

We got a booth everyone staring. Geez they really don't take a break do they? At least some of them are used to our group and mind their own business.

We ate tacos talked and laughed about random things. You would never think we were killers to begin with.

I'm just glad we all have a moment to relax and feel happiness, well them anyway, I'm just satisfied. What can I say, my walls are thick.

Anyway, I'm just glad we have these moments before everything starts falling apart.

After out little date, we went and retired to our rooms at about seven. What can I say we were tired?

My eyes sprang open at just as the first round of alarm beginner. I looked at my phone and saw it was midnight, right on the dot. I unlocked it to see a link from my computer, two unidentified helicopters are landing at two warehouses miles from each other. By the looks of it their crying cargo.

I sprang to action.

Vanessa, wake everyone up, the delivery is being made tell them to meet me in my office.

Got it.

Vanessa would wake them up with her mind, I thought as I got ready. I put on my black suit zipping it up. I put on my boot and put all my weapons in it. I put on my belt filled with weapons. I made clothe for everyone in this mission. Harder for bullets to penetrate, water proof, fire proof, easy to move in. I traced the I that stood for Ice on my right breast and put on my coat reaching my knees.

I grabbed everything I needed going to my office. On My way I met Vanessa same suit and boots as me but has a V on her right breast instead of I. she also put her leather jacket over it.

Soon we saw Lee, same suit but an L over her right Breast. She didn't wear any jacket so she can use her ability easily.

We reached the office where the boys were already there, matching shirt and pants with the letters at the beginning of their names on their left. Seems they all wore leather jackets.

"What's the situation?" Derek spoke over the alarm going in my office. I turned off the alarm and pressed a button on my remote making the big screen appear.

"Looks like the delivery is tonight" I spoke.

"Why are they going two different places?" Lee asked looking at the screen where two different helicopters landed on two warehouses both far away from each other.

"Their trying to throw us off, one of them or both could be the real delivery, either way looks like we'll have to split up" Chris spoke.

"Well you, me and Lee are going to this warehouse" I pointed to the one by the ocean, "Derek, you, Vanessa and Phil take this warehouse" I pointed the warehouse in the middle of nowhere.

"Let's go then" we all took a tracker, linked to the computer. We went to the garage and picked two of my cares, both black and small but they pack a punch, trust me. I was driving while Derek was driving the other one.

Vanessa you keep us in contact alright I stated. Even if anything happened to her I can always use my power.

Got you, everyone hear me she spoke

Loud and clear I hear Chris answer.

Good lets go I commanded.

I nodded at Derek and we both went our separate way. I pressed a button on the radio and a screen appeared with our destination in tacked.

Let's go stop that delivery.

I was walking down the hall sleepy.

I need a glass of milk or something. I thought as I yawned. As tired as I am I just won't fall asleep thought.

Wait where am I again?

I looked around and saw the familiar hall. Why is it familiar again?

I was about to walk back when I saw a door ajar with red light flickering., Now a little sober I could hear and alarm.

I walked towards the door and opened it, the alarm and light getting clearer.

I whistled as I looked into this nice office.

One thing that got my attention was the screen the alarm and light were still ringing off, I guess it's coming from that.

But why are there three red dots on the screen thought?
