The portal could be heard from a mile away if I had to guess.  It sounds as if it were almost taunting you to move towards it, the purple substance started to move in waves, and a leg began to emerge from its grasp.  Soon enough the portal went quiet and a hooded man stood in front of Tommy, a blade strapped upon his back. 

Dream joined the game.

I scooted backward from my spot to try and hide better "SNAP" my gaze shot down at the broken stick underneath me and then right back up to see an eerie mask staring up in my direction.  My hand covered my mouth and chills ran down my spine as he began to walk towards the hill I was hiding on, unsheathing his blade, the cracked mask searched through brambles around me.

"Dream! My frienddd, I'm sure that was just a chicken, I've had an increase of those things recently and they just won't leave."  Tommy quickly grabbed Dreams shoulder and turned him away from my direction, he pointed out a chicken that was standing not too far away from them and I watched as Dreams posture became a little more relaxed.

'Holy shit...' I exhaled and made sure there were no more sticks around me before I started to watch the two again.

Dream began to dig into the grass and Tommy looked down at the hole reluctantly, he fidgeted with his hands until Dream was finished.  The man pointed downwards "you know the drill, Tommy.  Everything in the hole."

"Everything? Cant I keep these?" Tommy gestured to the boots he was wearing and Dream reached behind his back, he grasped the blade, and before you knew it the boots were being thrown into the hole.  Tommy started to throw other things in and once he seemed done Dream told him to step back, a bucket of something was placed and the sizzle of burning objects rang through the air.

A few minutes later Dream left and I came down from the hill carefully, hiding wherever I could just in case he showed up again.  Once I reached Tommy he seemed uneasy, he peered down at the ground and kicked dirt into the empty hole.

"That was close." I huffed, Tommy looked up at me and his mood shifted quickly to anger.

"You're kidding me.  I just saved your dumb ass!" He grumbled, he stopped kicking dirt and began to walk away from the hole and back towards his tent.

"Tommy!" I called out jogging after him, when I caught up with him he was rummaging through a chest.  Grabbing a circular object he harshly closed the lid and stood up, I followed him out over to a reddish-brown box that had a slit at the top of it.  Carefully Tommy placed the circular object into the box and a tune started to ring out from it, I watched as his demeanor changed as the tune played and he gazed out to the ocean.

"Tommy.  Are you okay?"

The boy turned to face me finally, his eyes seemed to be darker than they were before and I took a step back.  He took a deep breath and sighed "yeah.  I am just tired.  I want to go back to lmanburg."

'Lmanburg?'

A sharp pain rang through my head and my knees buckled underneath me, I fell onto the grass hill and held onto my temples.

"You need to keep an eye on them."  A hushed voice called out from in front of me.

"Or what?" My voice pinged across the dimly lit walls.

A shadow swiftly moved in front of me and I looked down, I backed away and calmly nodded.

"Okay, I'll watch them... but only if you promise me this."

The shadow stepped back and crossed its arms, its eyes studied me. "What is it-"

"When the time comes, the people of lmanburg go unharmed."

The shadow took a second to think before placing its hand in my shoulder, it looked at me and smiled softly "alright."

"Y/n?!" Tommy shook my shoulders, and my attention snapped up towards the boy.  His eyes flashed with concern and he seemed scared, I gently pushed his arms away and sat back rubbing my head.

"What the fuck was that about?!" He asked, Tommy stared at me waiting for an answer.  But I don't even have an answer as to what the hell had just happened to me, I quietly looked around us to make sure we were still on the island before looking back at Tommy.

"I don't- ...Tell me about lmanburg Tommy."
