Catra's pov

It's Valentine's day. One of my least favorite holidays. Er, it was. Now, though, I have someone to celebrate it with. I'm awoken by Adora pouncing on me, giggling and giving me a good morning kiss/ smooch. "Good morning, Catra!"

I chuckle against her lips and return the kiss. "Mm,morning Adora.." I mumble, smiling a little. It's early, so no one else is up. Adora straightens, scooting back and pulling me into a sitting position. She giggles quietly, reaching behind her and pulling out a heart shaped box of chocolates and flowers. "Happy Valentine's day!" She says cheerfully.

I smile at her. "Happy Valentine's day." I reply, taking the flowers and chocolate before frowning at her. "I didn't get you anything." I say regretfully. I've never celebrated Valentine's day-- never had anyone to celebrate it with. I should've known to get her something.

"I-I mean, I can make you a card or something or even go out for awhile to get you a gift--"

"That's completely fine, Catra. You don't have to run out and try and buy my affections. You've had them for awhile. I don't need you to sell me on reasons to want you." Adora smirks slyly at her reference before scooting closer and giving me a gentle kiss. "You can gift me with smooches." She says, caressing my face.

I blush, looking at her with a small smile. "Alright. But we have to be quiet about it." I say. Adora rolls her eyes. "Yeah, I know. Lonnie will probably sleep through Valentine's day as she always does, and Lizard dude will most likely be gone for the day doing things. Kyle as well." She says.

My eyes widen. "Are they-?" I ask. Adora shakes her head. "Not them, but you're on the right track with the gayness. Definitely." She smiles a little.

I straighten. Good gossip. "Who is it?" I ask, looking at her excitedly. "I've been needing someone to ship him with." I say, grinning.

Adora flushes. "Well, that's not something I should say. It's his decision." She says.

I deadpan. "But I think he knows about us, though."

Adora freezes. "What? He can't seriously-- that's- no. How?" She asks.

I snort. "He and Scorpia are like, best friends, Adora." I say.

Adora cringes. "Shit, that's not good. Not that they're best friends, but because .. I don't know."

I hug her carefully. "Hey, it's okay.Who's his gay boyfriend?" I ask, smiling at Adora.

Adora takes a deep breath and sighs. "Bow. You know, my archer best friend? They've been going out for a couple of months now."

I squeal. "Him?? Oh my gosh!! I was over here thinking it was Rogelio!" I giggle, bouncing.

Adora looks at me as if I've lost my head. "You're... cheerful and girly today" She laughs.

I roll my eyes, laughing as well. "Well, it's Valentine's day and I just found out my living gay son is dating someone!" I gasp. "We have to plan them their next date!!" I exclaim, shaking Adora so I know she hears me.

Adora laughs and steadies herself so she doesn't get knocked over. "Yeah.. okay, but don't you want to..?"

I blush and nod. She's implying a date and I'd love nothing more than to spend a day walking with her and just enjoying her company. "Yeah, I know a good place to walk along." I say. 

Adora smiles and checks to make absolute sure that everyone else is still sleeping before leaning and giving me a gentle kiss, taking my hand afterwards. 

"Lead the way, my secret Valentine~"
