Frightened at the thought of Lee chasing after him, Jungkook didn't turn around until he got out of the bathroom. When he turned to look behind him while continuing to run, Jungkook bumped head-on into Yoongi who was standing in the doorway.

     "Ouch!" the two boys cried with one voice as they both fell. The phone Yoongi was holding in his hands slipped further, fortunately without breaking.

     "Sorry hyung!" Jungkook said as he straightened up immediately and ran away without even helping Yoongi to get up or pick up his phone for him. 

    "Yaaaaa!" Yoongi screamed when he saw Jungkook leaving him behind when he had just come to pick him up. 

      He frowned when he saw Lee coming out of the bathroom in turn.

      "This brat has no respect for his elders," Lee mumbled as he helped Yoongi up.

     "Only now are you noticing it?" Yoongi quipped, without taking his eyes off Lee, "did he bump into you too? You have a little red face here," the rapper said, pointing to the right side of his jaw.

     "Yeah, he was really in a rush," Lee lied, stroking his jaw and of the perch Yoongi had just given him to explain his condition rather than telling him that he had fought with Jungkook.

     Turning around and walking away, he didn't realize that Yoongi was still watching him with a frown, as if he didn't believe it.

     The others were waiting for Jungkook and Yoongi in a small room adjoining the waiting room, where a screen TV was set up with chairs positioned in front of them, which were almost all occupied.

     "Jungkook!" Hoseok said when he saw him come in, "Wait, what happened to your hair?" 

     Jungkook's messy hair no longer showed any defined haircut, the hairdressers weren't going to be happy.

     "Nothing, I was nervous, I had to run a hand through my hair without paying attention," Jungkook lied, hoping however that there was enough makeup left on his face to hide the slap Lee had given him.

     "Anyway," Hoseok said, shaking his head disapprovingly. "Jungkook, where have you been? Jin hyung was looking for you!" 

     "Jin hyung was looking for me?!" Jungkook exclaimed, even happier than surprised.

     "Yes! Jimin confirmed with a smile," He even sent us to pick you up and we also sent Yoongi hyung on a mission to look for you," he added, seeing Yoongi enter while making a face at Jungkook.

     "You could have told me that Lee hyung had also been sent to find him, I wouldn't have gone there and that would have saved me from being attacked without any consideration by our maknae," Yoongi said, upon entering the room.

     Jungkook gave him an apologetic look.

    "I didn't commission him, you're the only one I told," Jimin said. "Hobi hyung must have send him."  

     "No, it wasn't me," Hoseok said distractedly, staring at the screen with focus, expecting Jin to appear, which was exactly what Jungkook was doing too. 

     "Interesting," Yoongi just said before dropping into a chair next to Jungkook.

     "Couldn't Jin hyung wait any longer to go on stage?" Jungkook lamented.

     "He waited as long as possible but since you were nowhere in sight, he must have left without being able to speak to you, I'm sad for you," Jimin said saddly, putting an arm around his shoulders.

     "How was he before he left? Wasn't he too nervous?" Jungkook asked. 

     "Well, no," Jimin replied, thoughtful, "actually, he seemed to be doing a lot better than the rest of the day strangely. He said he was fine and I don't know how to put it but I felt this time he was genuine in his words and in his smile. It was... beautiful. It was like he was his old self again after months."

    Everyone looked at Jimin in fascination at what everyone considered wonderful news. First, Jin talked to Jungkook that morning, and now he started smiling again.

     "Could it be the content of a certain letter that cheered him up?" Namjoon insinuated smiling at Jungkook.

     "Which letter?!" Taehyung asked eagerly, curious as to what had caused Jin to suddenly break the ice or rather the pack ice that had formed between them for weeks.

     Jungkook mysteriously smiled at the elder but remained silent and went to sit between Yoongi and Jimin while on the screen of the TV, Jin appeared next to Chanyeol and Dahyun. And he seemed radiant. Jimin was right: it wasn't a fake smile. It was a smile full of newfound confidence and joy.

     "Jungkook why is your face and neck so red, are you okay?"

     "He just bumped into two people coming here like a madman," Yoongi  explained, giving Jungkook an unexpected excuse. 

      Jungkook, however, had the weird impression that Yoongi was waiting for him to correct him. He didn't and just nodded before he turned his head away.

    "Or maybe he's intimidated to see hyung become WWH again?" Taehyung scoffed.

    "Shut up!" Jungkook said while still smiling broadly though, but he was more focused on Jin's image on TV than what his hyungs were saying.

     Jin opened the ceremony wonderfully, introducing himself and then presenting the program of the evening, leading the speech with a masterful hand, combining seriousness and humor to perfection alongside his two stage mates who looked pale next to him because his overflowing enthusiasm eclipsed that of others was so full of enthusiasm. 

     In the audience, the ARMYs present screamed with pleasure at each of his speeches and jokes. At one point, one of the fans exclaimed:

     "Seokjin oppa, you are so handsome!!"

     Jin stopped and looked at the crowd before shouting :

     "Yes, I am handsome, yes!"

     Chanyeol and Dahyun raised a hand to mask their shocked expression before laughing out loud with admiration in front of so much confidence. 

     Across the screen, in the viewing room where BTS was gathered, Yoongi crashed into his seat:

     "He's a little awkward," he complained with an accompanying scowl under the iconic gummy smile. Nonetheless, everyone could see that he was happy to see that Jin had become himself again.

     " Why? It's true that he's handsome," Jimin replied befor laughing : "and don't criticize him when, deep down, you are happy to see him like that."

     "Of course Jin is handsome," Jungkook agreed without taking his eyes off Jin. His gaze shone with pride and his half-open mouth revealed concentration. "He really is a handsome man."

     His remark caused Taehyung to chuckle:

    "I told you Jungkook was intimidated by hyung's beauty and confidence."

     At the end of their speech, the three MCs decided to pass an impromptu message to their respective group.

     "Let me take this opportunity to say a word to my members," Chanyeol initiated. He addressed some nice words to his members.

     Then it was Dahyun's turn to say, "Well then, I would like to say something to the members of TWICE as well. "

     In the viewing room, Hoseok, who had been away for a few minutes came back and asked:

     "Has Jin already spoken?"

      "Not yet," Yoongi replied.

     Everyone was focused. Hoseok and Jimin got their phones ready to shoot the screen.

     "What is he going to say?" Namjoon wondered aloud. After all this time spent in the silence of depression, the rapper wondered while looking at Jin so beaming what would be the first thing he would want to say publicly.

     Finally, Jin spoke:

     "I would also like to say something to my BTS dongsaengs who never let me down even in my most difficult times while I was giving them a hard time."

      He paused briefly and stared intently at the camera:

     "Hyung, love you all. Especially Jungkook who gave me the most beautiful message of love tonight and allowed me to find what I had lost for so long. Hyung loves you, JK!"

     The crowd screamed in delight upon hearing the idol's sweet words addressed to his dongsaengs. It was in their eyes the most adorable statement of the evening, the one from the mathyung of BTS who had remained silent and withdrawn far too long for the taste of his fans.

     The rest of the members smiled warmly at these statements which might have seemed cheesy for anyone else but them. Only they could understand what Jin had first lost before finding it again tonight thanks to Jungkook's letter. The maknae on his side looked embarrassed but incredibly happy.

     The MCs disappeared from the scene after a final bow as the first idol group entered for the first performance in front of the crowed. Jin, Chanyeol and Dahyun took the time to pose for the photographers present and Jin, strong in his confidence, helped the others, more shy, to free themselves and they strike pose with a lot of Korean heart which delighted the photographers.

     Finally, they joined their respective groups to prepare their own passage on stage and when Jin entered the waiting room where BTS was waiting, he was immediately assailed by a powerful body which threw himself on him before hugging him with all his strength, legs wrapped around Jin's hips

     "How was I?" Jin asked, smiling and returning the suffocating embrace given to him.

     "You were perfect hyung," Jungkook replied affectionately against Jin's neck.
