~6 Months Later~

Astrid's POV

It had been six months, six months! I have been waiting for so long, and now I'm pretty sure that Hiccup isn't coming for me.

Since that day, I have had a plan B, just in case this happened. And it did.

All of the time I had been here, I had studied the guards posts. I knew who came when, and where.

And I had also found out that every night at 10 pm, my night guard fell asleep. So for the past days, I have hid my knives, and I had pretended to eat in the toilet. But instead of eating, I have removed the blades and replaced them with aluminum that was all around my toilet.

When the guard fell asleep, I decided to put my plan into work, I used the blades I had got from the knives to break free. They were made out of Gronckle iron, so that helped me.

I sneaked over to where they held the dragons, and I picked out a green nadder.

I opened it's cage and trained it. We snuck out from the cell area, and came out to the deck. I mounted the nadder and took off.

When we were far away from Viggo's ship, I decided to tell the world how happy I was.

"Finally free! Whoo!" I cried happily.

"Now take me to your home, lovely dragon" I said to the dragon whom I decided to not give a name.

After a few days of flying, the dragon landed on an island that was a big forest.

I recognized this island, this island was not far away from Dragons Edge!

"Thank you, dragon, but I have one last request of you before you stay here forever" I asked the dragon.

"Can I use you to get me home?" The dragon nodded.

"Thank you" I said to it as we took off and flew towards Dragons Edge.
