Hiccup's POV

We were flying over the clouds. All of us.

"Okay, Viggo's ship is right under us. Do you all remember the plan?" I asked them. They shook their heads.

"Ugh, okay, first, I'm going to get Astrid, and if I mess up or something, I'll yell the commando word, and then you all will come help me. Understood?" I asked them. They nodded.

"Good. See you soon" I said as I dove down. Toothless and I flew close to the water. Right before we hit Viggo's boat, we shot up. As we were flying over Viggo's ship, I saw Astrid struggling to get free from the grip of a man holding her.

"Astrid" I mumbled.

I landed on the boat. The men were coming for Toothless, but Viggo put his hand up and they stopped.

"Give me Astrid back!" I said fiercely. Toothless growled.

"You know what Hiccup? We can trade! You have something I want, and if you give it to me, I'll give you the girl" Viggo said.

"What do you want to trade?" I asked him.

"Give me the Night fury, and I'll give you the girl" Viggo said. What?! He made me choose between my best friends.

Astrid shook her head.

"Don't do it Hiccup" She begged. I looked at her with a sad expression in my face. She nodded.

"I refuse to trade" I said as I go up on Toothless and shot up into the sky. After a few seconds, I shot down again and grabbed Astrid.

"Hiccup!" Astrid said as she hugged me from behind.

"No!" We heard Viggo shout. Then it began raining arrows.

"Hiccup get out of their range!" Astrid screamed. Toothless flew up, and I could feel a
Astrid loosing her grip.

"Hiccup!" Astrid screamed as she fell of Toothless.

"Astrid!" I screamed. I shot after her, but Viggo's chains got her, and she fell into the water.

Astrid was back at the deck.

"Hiccup, go!" She cried.

"I'm coming back for you, Astrid, I promise!" I shouted. She smiled a weak smile, before some men took her away.

I flew up to the others, heartbroken.

"That was dramatic. Like REALLY dramatic" Spitelout said.

"I cried, it was so sad!" Tuffnut said as he wiped away a tear.

"Wait, you guys were watching, and STILL you didn't help me?" I said.

"There were too many arrows!" Snotlout said.

"We have armor!" I yelled.

I placed my head in my hands.

"This is my fault" I said.
