Astrid's POV

We were back at Dragons Edge. I was in my house with Stormfly.

"Ugh!" I yelled as I threw my axe. It hit my door.

I rested my head on Stormfly's stomach. She was my best friend. I could tell her everything, and she would understand.

"What's up with Hiccup? I mean, he cares too much about that dragon eye!" I complained to Stormfly. She nuzzled me. I pet her.

When we came home yesterday, Hiccup seemed really mad. And earlier today, around our meeting at the club house, Hiccup was just talking about when we would go after that dragon eye.

To be honest, I would be happier if Viggo just kept it. But I know Hiccup, he won't give up so easy.

"Come on Stormfly, let's go on a nighttime flight" I said as I opened the door that was a mini version of a hangar door, so that we could have our dragons in our homes if we wanted to. Every house on Dragons edge had that kind of door.

When we were out of my house, I hopped on Stormfly's back and we took off.

We soared through the skies, feeling free. We even went so close to the water so that I could touch it. And when we touched the water, Stormfly opened her mouth and ate some fish.

When we flew back over the clouds, I got up, and I was standing on her.

"You ready, Stormfly?" I asked her. She nodded. "Okay, here we go!"

I jumped off her back and fell straight towards the water that were about a 1000 meters under us.

"STORMFLY, CATCH!" I screamed, because I was about 500 meters away from the water, and if I hit the water in this speed, and from that far above, it would feel like I hit a mountain.

When it was about 5 meters to the surface, Stormfly caught me in her claws.

"Thanks, Girl" I said as I patted her leg. "Now, can you please throw me back up on your back?"

Stormfly threw me back up on her back, and we went higher up.

We were headed back to Dragons edge, and when we could see Dragons edge, we decided to land at one of the beaches. All of the other riders were asleep, so I thought, why not?

As I stared at the ocean, Stormfly fell asleep beside me. I chuckled.

"I'm going to wake you up when we leave" I smiled.

Author's POV

Two men were hiding in the bushes behind the blonde girl and her Deadly nadder. The men worked for Viggo, and their mission was to kidnap the girl.

"The Nadder is asleep" The one man said.

"Let's shoot it so it won't be able to do anything when we take the girl" The other man said.

One of the men aimed at the nadder's butt at released the arrow. The arrow hit the nadder, and either the girl or the nadder noticed it.

"Get the sack ready" One of them whispered.

The other one nodded. They both snuck out of the bushes, and snuck over to the blonde.

They quickly placed the bag over her head and pushed her legs into it as well. She was kicking and yelling, but no one heard her.

The men ran to a boat they had hid not far away and rowed back to Viggo's ship.
