Astrid's POV

I opened my eyes and looked around the room.

I can remember everything! I thought happily.

My eyes stopped at Hiccup. He had his head in his hands. He was crying.

I sat up in the bed. I looked at him for a second before I touched his shoulder.

"Why are you crying?" I asked him. Hiccup looked up, his eyes were red and the look on his face was priceless.

It took a couple of seconds before he could speak, but I just smiled.

Hiccup threw his arms around me and hugged me tight.

At first I was surprised, but I hugged him back.

"You're alive" He cried into my shoulder.

He pulled away and held my face.

"You're alive" He smiled. And what happened next surprised me. Like EXTREMELY much.

Hiccup suddenly crashed his lips onto mine. I was too surprised to answer at first, but two seconds later I responded to his kiss, and kissed him back.

Dragons edge could have burned down, and we wouldn't even notice, we were just so happy to see each other, and be with each other. Nothing in this entire world could separate us now.

When we pulled away, we smiled at each other.

"Eh..?"

We looked towards the stairs and saw the entire gang stand there, dumbfounded, completely surprised of what had happened right in front of them.

I began laughing, nothing was funnier than the look on their faces. Hiccup suddenly began laughing too.

The gang was still surprised. After a minute, the gang went from being surprised, to being super happy that I was alive.

They ran over to the bed, all of them and gave me a big group hug.

When they pulled away, they just looked at me. After a minute, Ruff said something.

"We all thought that you were dead" Ruffnut said.

"But why didn't you bury me then? Or sail me away?" I asked.

"Because Hiccup wouldn't let us" Fishlegs said as he looked over at Hiccup.

"Why wouldn't you let them?" I asked him. As Hiccup was about to answer, Snotlout took the word.

"He said to us that we had to wait for at least a week before we buried you" Snotlout said.

"Okay. Good thing that you stopped them then!" I laughed nervously.

"Anyways..." I began as I jumped out of my bed. "Are you ready to go out on an adventure?"
