Astrid's POV

"I choose... To live" I said as I closed my eyes. When I opened them, Hel was still in front of me.

"Wait, why am o still here? I made my choice!" I said confused. Hel snorted.

"You said it the wrong way" Hel pointed out. I rolled my eyes.

"You ain't saying?" I said sarcastically. "But tell me, how do I say it?"

"You have to say your entire name, and then your choice, okay?" Hel said.

"Um, okay. I Astrid Hofferson..."

"Stop, try again" Hel said. I rolled my eyes.

"I Astrid Hofferson, choose to..."

"WAIT! You can still change your choice" Hel said. I ignored her and tried again.

"I Astrid Hofferson, choose to live" I said.

I heard Hel scream with a dark and monstrous voice. I closed my eyes and everything was white.

Now, I began thinking, was it really smart to choose to live? If I don't remember anything, then what's the point?

But still, Hel could have been lying, I mean she's the daughter of Loki for Thor's sake!

I took a deep breath and walked towards what looked like a blue sky.

I looked down and saw Dragons Edge. I smiled.

I took a step out of the white and slowly fell towards the ground. I landed right in front of my house, unharmed.

The door was open, so I walked in. I went up the stairs and saw Hiccup sitting on a chair beside my bed.

He looked down at my body with puffy red eyes, something I bet was from crying.

Now I realized that I was only my soul, waiting for me to get back into my body.

I moved closer to my lifeless body. I laid myself on top of it and slowly, I went back into it.

My eyes were closed.

I was cold.

I slightly parted my lips. I took a deep breath.

As soon as I had taken a breath, I could feel the warmth coming back to me.

It started in my fingertips and I could feel it build up, from my fingertips to my shoulders, from my toes to the top of my head.

I felt a heartbeat. I felt the blood run through my veins.

I felt alive.

Then I opened my eyes.
