Previously on Chapter 97

"I'm sorry, Y/N... I promise I'll bring him back or I will be the one to make you happy... I love you, Y/N..." I said softly. I lean down and place a soft kiss on her forehead.

-They Caught Us-

Y/N P.O.V

I wake up and stare at the ceiling. I realize that I'm not familiar with this room. I look around the room in confusion. Then I feel warmth on my hand. I look down on notice someone is sleeping, hands holding mine.

"Harry..." I said. He shifts a little, slowly waking up. He lifts his head and looks at me. "Y/N, you're finally awake..." he said. I just look away from him. "I wish I never awake..." I said. I feel tears streams down both of my cheeks.

"Don't say that, Y/N..." he said. I bit my lips as I start to cry softly. "I'm tired, Harry... everyone I have ever love slowly turns their backs against me. I've lost so many..." I cried out. "Not everyone... you still have me... Hermione and Ron. You're not alone, Y/N" he said, holding my hand.

"How do I know that you won't leave me too?" I said, turning to look at him. "I won't... I'll never leave you, Y/N. I swear..." he said. "Cedric said the same. Draco too... they all promised the same thing. SO HOW DO I KNOW THAT YOU'RE NOT LYING TOO?!" I said, my voice raise as I said it, to the point I start yelling. He flinched at my tone.

"I know it's hard for you trust. After all the pain you have endured, Y/N. But you can trust me. I've been sticking by your side on your hard time, remember?" He said. "I don't know what to trust anymore" I said, looking away from him.

"I love you, Y/N..." he said. "What?" I said, turning my head to look at him. "I said I love you... I always have. But I back down, knowing you're with Draco. I don't want to stand in between you" he said. I just sit there, staring at him.

He moves to sit next to me, he gently hold my hand and place it against his chest where his heart is. "I know that I'm not Draco... but I can assure you, Y/N. I can make you happy, only if you give me a chance... I really do love you. Draco knew that too. So before he left... he asked me to look after you and I will... ONLY if you give me a chance. So please, Y/N... give me a chance" he said, looking pleadingly at me. I stare at him, speechless.

I let out a breathy laugh and pulls my hand away. I stand up and glare down at him. "What am I, huh? A toy?? Is that why you two passed me around when you're bored so the other could have a go?!" I said, angrily.

"Y/N... no... it's not like that at all! I-" He said. I cut him off, by showing him a hand. He instantly shuts up. "Just... leave..." I said. "Bu-" he tried to say. "I SAID... LEAVE?!?!???!" I screamed. The door to this room burst open to reveal Hermione and Ron.

I turn to look at them. "What? Trying to convince me too?" I asked. They turn to look at Harry for some explanation. He lets out a sigh and turns to them. "I will explain to you two... come on. She wants to be alone..." he said. They nod their heads and walks out of the room.

As soon as they're out. I burst into tears once more. I fall on my knees and sit down, I hug my knees closer to my chest as I start to cry harder.

Harry P.O.V

"Well... are you gonna tell us what happened now?" I hear Hermione asked once we're far enough. I let out a sigh and turn to her. "She's very upset because he left. She said she's tired of trusting anyone anymore. I tried talking to her about it. That I genuinely care for her. But of course, she didn't trust me and start to yell at me" I said, sighing softly as I take a seat. I hear a sigh from Hermione.

She moves to take a seat next to me. "Let's just give her some time... she just needs to cool off. I'm sure she'll come around" she said, patting my back softly. "Draco entrusted me to look after her. To be the one for her. But I know that's not possible.... her heart belongs to him..." I said, sighing softly.

"You love her, don't you?" Ron said. "Yeah... with everything I have..." I said, nodding my head. "Then you gotta fight for her, man... let her know that YOU can make her happy too..." he said. "It's not simple to do that you know?" I said. "I know... but you still have to try" he said, shrugging his shoulders. I just nod my head. He's right... I'll try my best to show her that I can make her happy.

Time-skip

Y/N P.O.V

I lean my head against the wall. My eyes staring off to nothing in particular. My body feels exhausted from all the crying I've been doing... and my heart hurts so bad.

"Draco... why'd you leave me?" I said, in a low voice. Tears streams down my cheeks. I shake my head and scream at top of my lungs.

"All of you are a bunch of liars?! I hate you!!" I yelled angrily. If I could choose... I'd rather be heartless. So I don't have to be in such pain. Falling for betrayal is the worst pain of all. Broken trust and broken hearts.

Suddenly there's a loud noise. I furrow my eyebrow and walks out. Harry turns to look at me. But I just look away from him.

"They know you're here... they want you to get out or they'll destroy this room..." Neville said, looking very worried. Harry walks forward. I grab his wrist. I do not know why I did that. I guess some part of me still cares.

He turns to look at me, looking surprised. I ignore the look he's giving me. "If you get out. You're going to get killed" I said. "Better me than everyone else..." he said. He gently removes my hand from his wrist. He smiles at me and gently place a soft kiss on my forehead. Then he turns around and walks out. Ron and Hermione following close behind him. I let out a sigh, knowing even though I'm deeply hurt... I still care for them. So I follow them.

We enter a room. The first thing I notice about this room is it's filled with Death-eaters. I look around the place. My eyes suddenly met with a pair of pale-grey eyes.

"Draco..." I said, in a hush tone. He looks at me in the eyes. I can see the longing and sadness in them. If it hurts you too... why did you leave?
