Previously on Chapter 38

"Silence is agreeing... that means starting today... the two of you are engaged..." he said, smiling brightly. I just stay speechless.

-Returning To Hogwarts-

Y/N P.O.V

I wake up early in the morning, still in Malfoy's Manor. Today I'll be going back to Hogwarts. I don't know how to face the others. How would they react when they knew my status as Draco's fiancé. Wait... why am I even worried?? I never agreed to anything, so Draco and I aren't engage.

I get up from the bed, and head for the washroom. I step under the shower and let the water wash over me. I let myself relax as the water comforts me. My mind went back to that day... Draco's dad just take my silence as agreement and go ahead declaring that Draco and I are engaged. Can it even work like that? Ugh... whatever. I'm not going to think about it.

I shake my head and finish my shower. I put on my bathrobe and head back to my room. I change my clothes and grab my trunk. Then I walk out of the room I've been staying for the week I stayed here.

Draco is waiting by the door. He smiles when he see me. "Let's go, love..." he said. I glance at his father who is standing right next to him. I don't want him to be in trouble, so I'm just going to endure this for now.

It didn't take long for us to reach Hogwarts Express. I grab my trunk end board in. I was about to look for the trio, when Draco grabs my hand. I turn to look at him.

"What?" I said. "You're my fiancé... you should share a compartment with me..." he said. I let out a sigh as I turn to face him. "Look, Draco... I don't recall that I've ever said anything about agreeing to this whole engagement thing. I only stay silent because I don't wanna cause any trouble... because if I do... you're the one that will face the consequences. So you kind of owe me a favor. Do not tell anyone. We're NOT engage. You hear me?" I said, sternly. I turn around and walk away without letting him speak another word.

I look around the place and finally manage to find the trio. I open the compartment and enter. They turn to look at me and instantly pulls me into a hug. "Uhh... I miss you guys too..." I said. Harry pulls away and looks at me.

"Y/N... where were you??" He said. "At the Malfoy's. Don't Draco's father informed you?" I said. "No, he didn't... why are you there??" He said. "Draco helps me out of the situation... and he took me back to his house. I've been staying there..." I said. "Does that mean you encounter his father?" He said, looking at me with a worried expression. "Naturally..." I said. "You're okay, right?" Ron said. "Of course... they did not do anything to me... don't worry. I'm fine" I said. I decided to skip the whole conversation about Draco and I being engage. We're not engage.

Time-Skip

Since last year I've been spending so much time in Gryffindor, Professor Dumbledore instructed me to stay in Slytherin for the first 2 months. Which is why I'm sitting next to Draco in the dining hall.

Professor Dumbledore begins his speech as usual. "But this year... Hogwarts is not only our home. But it is home for other schools as well, it is all because we are chosen to host one of the Legendary Event. The Triwizard Tournament!" He said. The students broke into cheers.

"The first school... Beauxbatons!" He said. The door opens to reveal girls wearing blue dresses. I can see the boys practically drooling at the sight of them. I just roll my eyes, remembering the time I had when I was back there.

"Oh right... I never asked you... which school were you from?" Draco said, leaning to me. "I've been to both... Beauxbatons and Durmstrang..." I said. "But Durmstrang are for boys?" He said. I just shrug my shoulders.

I notice Fleur looking at me. I look away from her. She is one of those people who's only around me for popularity. So I'd rather not talk to her while she's here.

"Next school... Durmstrang!" Professor Dumbledore said again. Then a group of boys enters the room. I can see Victor among them. Back in Durmstrang. He have a crush on me... he confessed to me. We're dating for about 6 months. But we broke up because our relationship doesn't seem to work out.

After the show ended, Victor take a seat across from me. 'Why here of all places?? He's going to see me' I thought to myself, mentally groaned. He looks up and make eye-contact with me.

"Y/N? Is that you?" He said. "Hmm... hi, Victor..." I said. His eyes widened. "Oh Merlin... I didn't think I would be seeing you again. So this is where you are transferred to?" he said. "Yeah..." I said. Draco looks at us back and forth.

"You two knew each other?" Draco said. "Oh... better than just knew each other..." Victor said. I give him a warning look. But he just smirks at me. "Y/N and I used to date. So... she's my ex girlfriend..." he said. Draco's eyes practically bulge out of his socket. He turns to look at me.

"You dated Victor Krum?!" He yelled. "Draco! Keep it down!!" I said. Too late... everyone heard him. I can see every eyes turning to look at me. "Oh my Merlin... erase me now..." I said, burying my face in my hands.

"Why'd your two break up?" He said, after calming down. Why did he even ask that?? I thought he's going to be mad because I'm his 'fiancé'. But he seem pretty chill about it.

"Our relationship didn't work out..." I said. He just nods his head. He leans closer so his lips is right next to my ear. "I promise our relationship will work out" he said, in a low tone to make sure I'm the only one that heard him. I let out a sigh and turn to look at him.

"We're NOT together, Draco... I'm not your fiancé! So drop it, okay??" I hissed in a low voice so only he can hear me. I stand up and walk away from the Dining Hall. I make my way towards the dungeon.

Draco P.O.V

It hurts... the way she said we're not together hurts. Am I really that bad? Is that why she won't accept me? I love her... I love her so much... I'll do anything for her. I will keep trying... so I can win her heart, so she will be with me. No matter what it takes.

It's true that she said nothing when my dad declared that we are engaged... so she's still not mine. But I won't ever give up. Y/N has to be with me. She only belong to me and no one else.
