Previously on Chapter 31

"Y/N!" Someone said. I try to keep my eyes open to see Harry. He kneels down in front of me, cradling me in his arms. Then the exhaustion finally gets to me. I close my eyes and everything turns dark.

-I'm The Prime Merlin-

Hermione P.O.V

I run towards Y/N as she lay in Harry's arms. I kneel down next to them. "What happened?" I asked. "I'm not sure... she just... appear in front of me and form that shield... she's not using a wand. Just like when we were in DADA class..." He said. He then look up and around.

"I have to look for Sirius. He might be in trouble" he said. "You go... I'll look after Y/N" I said. He turns to me and nod his head. I gently lift Y/N's head from his lap and place it on mine. He stands up and runs off, to look for Sirius.

I look down at Y/N who's still unconscious. I have always known something's different about her. Her demeanor give off a strong aura. But I didn't expect that. She's able to use magic  without wand.

I recall what they taught us during History of Magic. How the true heir... will be able to use magic without wand, that person will be the Prime Merlin. Is Y/N... the Prime Merlin?? If she is the Prime Merlin... why would she lie to us about it?

Time-skip

Y/N P.O.V

When I wake up, I realize I'm in the hospital wings. I let out a soft groan as my head starts pounding in my skull. It's like, someone is hitting my head repeatedly with a hammer.

I turn my head to see Ron sitting on the bed, his foot is in cast. "You okay?" He said. "Yeah... I'm fine. Just a little dizzy. You?" I said. "I'm good... my foot hurts, a lot..." he said. I just hum and turn my head to see Harry and Hermione standing in the middle of the room.

"What are you two doing?" I asked. "We have a little mission to do. You're not fit enough. So it's best if you stay behind" Hermione said. I just nod my head. "Okay..." I said. Hermione smiles at me and take out a necklace. I realize it's a time turner. So that's how she manage to attend 3 classes at once.

Harry and Hermione slowly faded away. But not even a minute later, they burst through the door. I can hear gasp next to me. I turn my head to see Ron looking at Harry and Hermione in complete horror.

"How did you get there? I was just talking with you two over there... and now you're there!!" He said. I burst out laughing at the confused look on his face. I fall back on the bed, clutching my stomach as I keep on laughing.

"What's so funny, Y/N?? Aren't you curious as well?" Ron said. I wheeze softly, as I try to stop myself from laughing. I take a deep breath and sit up once I stop laughing.

"No, Ron... not really. I kinda have a guess what have happened..." I said, giggling softly to myself. "Well... what happened? Tell me" he said. "Nah~ I'm going to leave you to figure it out yourself" I said, waving my hand. He just pout at me.

I turn to Harry and Hermione. "I'm guessing you two succeed?" I said, noticing the huge smiles on their faces. I kind of guessed they went back in time to safe Sirius.

"Yeah, we succeeded. We also safe not just one life. But two" Harry said. "Two?" I said, looking at him in confusion. He points his head, I realize he meant to tell me to read his mind. I focus on his mind.

Yeah... two. We manage to save both Buckbeak and Sirius... I hear his voice in my head. A grin appear on my face. "Really?!" I said. He smiles happily and nod his head. I stand up and speed walk towards him. I wrap my arms around his neck.

"What's going on?" Ron said, looking at us with a confused look. I just laugh at him. He just rolls his eyes, knowing we're not going to tell him. This make Harry, Hermione and me bursts out laughing.

After a while we finally calmed down. "Now... let's talk about something else?" Hermione said. Harry nods his head. Then the three of them turns to look at me.

"What?" I asked. "You have some explanation to do, Y/N..." Harry said. I let out a sigh, knowing I don't have anymore choice. Plus they've already seen what I can do.

I place my hand on my right side of the face. I notice I'm still not wearing my eyepatch, meaning the three of them have a clear view of my rainbow color orbs. I sigh and place my hand on my lap.

Hermione walks towards me and take a seat at the edge of the bed. "I've seen what you can do out there, Y/N. You used magic without a wand... and it's not a simple one..." Harry said. "So tell us, Y/N. Could it be that you're... the Prime Merlin?" Hermione said. The three of them look at me expectantly. I look at the three of them back and forth.

I let out a sigh and look down at my lap. "Yeah, I am the Prime Merlin. But I swear... I didn't know about it until later in our 2nd year... and I'm sorry for not telling you about this before and denying it when you asked me about it a while ago. I just... don't want people to see me differently..." I said, looking down.

"We trust you, Y/N... don't worry... and you don't have to apologize. I understand your position..." Hermione said. Harry sits next to me and a little closer, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I lean my head against his shoulder.

"You won't treat me any different, right?" I said in a hush tone. "Of course not. You are and always will be our best friend, right guys?" Hermione said. Ron and Harry nods their heads. Each of them have a bright smile on their faces. I smile happily at them. A tear slip from my eye, followed by the next ones. Then I let out a soft sob. Harry pulls me even closer. I bury my face in the crook of his neck as I start to cry.

For now... they can only know about my secret as the Prime Merlin. I'll let them know more about me later in the future. I'm not ready to let them know about the curse that's been going on in my family. Not yet at least.

Hermione scoots closer as well, giving me a group hug. While Ron just smiles at me from across the room. He have a broken foot, so he couldn't move much. But their presence is very much appreciated.

I'm so happy... I'm finally able to find the people that accept me for who I am... not because I'm a part of an elite family. They even promised they won't treat me any different after knowing that I'm the Prime Merlin. This is the best day of my life.
