Previously on Chapter 30

"Bless you, boy! Bless you!!" Pettigrew said, kneeling in front of Harry. "Get off me! We'll take him back to Hogwarts, hand him over to Professor Dumbledore. Then the Dementors can have him..." Harry said. Pettigrew gasp as he looks scared.

Y/N P.O.V

I grab some fabric from the old bedsheet. I grab the blade from my pocket and tear it. I grab wood from the broken floor. Then I walk to Ron and kneel in front of him.

I place two woods on either side of his foot and start bandaging it with the torn fabric to act as a bandage. I tie a knot to secure it. I smile softly at Ron. "It'll do for now... we need to get you to the hospital wings" I said.

"I'm impressed... where did you learn how to do that, Y/N?" I heard Sirius said. I turn to look at him. "I've been away from my family for a while now. I have to learn how to fend for myself. Especially since I have been alone. I never had any real friends until I met these people" I said. "It must be rough on you... and with the secret you kept... I'm sure it's hard for you" he said, looking at me with a small smile.

"I'm really curious. What secret, Y/N?" Harry said. I turn to look at him. "You will know when the time comes..." I said. He just nod his head. I just smile and stand up. Harry and Sirius helps Ron walks.

I walk alone, while Hermione walks behind me with Professor Lupin holding Pettigrew who whimpers. I just walk in silence with my hands inside the pocket of my hoodie.

"I'm sorry for your leg..." Sirius said. "You nearly tore my leg off" Ron said. "I was going for the rat" he said. I just smile softly. At least everything has been cleared. Sirius is innocent... after we hand Pettigrew to Professor Dumbledore, Sirius will be free.

"Turn me into a maggot! Turn me into a silk worm! Anything but the dementors!" Pettigrew wailed. I let out a sigh and try my best to block out his pleads. It's his own fault and he must take responsibility for his crime.

He breaks free Professor Lupin's grasp and stagger to Ron. "Ron... haven't I been a good friend? A good pet? You won't let the Dementors take me, right?" He said. I grab the back of his collar and pulls him away from Ron.

"That's enough! Deal with it! It's your own fault! You should have think it through before committing the crimes!" I yelled at him. "Y/N... you'd understand what it's like to not have a choice... you can't control the curse, right?? Please spare me!" He said. My eyes widened at what he said. I turn my head to see my friends looking at me in confusion.

I shake my head and push Pettigrew agains the wall. He whimpers as I glare at him. "Who gave you the right to talk about that, huh? How do you even know about that in the first place?!!" I yelled at his face. "I know about your parents... your REAL parents..." he said. "W-What?" I stuttered out, staring at him in shock. My real parents? Are my mom and dad not my parents?

"You and your sister Lena isn't daughters of your parents. Macon isn't your dad... he's your uncle. Your mother isn't your mother either... she's your uncle's cousin. They're just pretending to be your parents... to hide the truth from you. Even your sister Lena knows the truth, they all know but you" he said. This makes me furrow my eyebrow. But I shake my head and push him further against the wall.

"Then who's my parents? And how would I know that you're not trolling right now?? For all I know. You're a traitor here!" I said, anger is evident in my voice.

"Well.. they kept a secret about your being the Prime Merlin. How do you know if they didn't keep more secrets" he said. I bit my lips, knowing he's right. If a secret so big as being a Prime Merlin can be kept so easily... lying about being my parents won't be hard to do.

"If you want to know the truth. Help set me free then I will..." he said, smirking slightly. He know he have hit the button. How did he even know more about me than I am. Who's my real parents? And how did he know them?! As much as I want to know, I won't let a guy like him free.

"Such a cheap trick. If I have to find out the truth by setting a scum like you free. Then I'd rather die not knowing anything. Now move!" I spat at him. I pull him off the wall and start pushing him. He stumble forward, but I grab the bag of his collar and continue pushing him.

I walk past my friends and they give me a look. I can see the confusion in their eyes. I let out a sigh, there is no point at keeping it a secret anymore. "I will tell you guys. But not now... later..." I said. They just nod their heads, then we walk out of the place.

I keep my wand pointed at Pettigrew as Harry and Sirius have a little talk. Out of the corner of my eyes, I can see Professor Lupin shaking. I turn to look at him to see him looking up at the moon. This makes me gasp as my eyes widened. It's full moon today!

"My dear friend, did you take your medicine!" I hear Sirius said, I can see panic in his voice. Professor did not answer him, as his feature starts to change. "Oh no. This is bad..." I said, in a low tone. Standing in front of us now is Professor Lupin in his wolf form.

"Harry, Ron, Hermione... run!!" I yelled. The wolf turns to look at me. He starts running towards me. I take out my wand, but he's too fast and tackles me to the ground. My wand gets send far away from me. I won't get the chance to retrieve it.

Professor Lupin walks towards me, fangs blaring at me. But before he could try anything to harm me, someone throws a rock at him. He turns around. I follow his view to see Harry.

"Harry, what are you doing! Run! Get out of here!!" I yelled, frantically. Professor Lupin ignores me and starts to chase after Harry. I clutch my hair in panic. My wand is not with me. I don't have time to get it. I have no choice now.

I reach up and take of my eyepatch, revealing my rainbow eye.

I focus on my magic, and teleport in front of Harry. He jumps back in fright. But I ignore that and turn to face Professor Lupin, who's still running towards us.

I outstretch my hand on either side of me. I focus on protecting Harry and myself, making a shield appear around us.

Professor Lupin jumps, but hits the shield. He let out an angry growl and starts clawing at the shield.

I can feel myself growing weaker because I haven't been using this power for a long time. But I try my best to keep the shield up, to protect Harry.

Suddenly, I can hear the sound of howling from the distance. Professor Lupin turns around and runs to the sound. I make sure he won't come back, and let my arms down. I breathe heavily and fall on both of my knees. Then I fall to my side.

"Y/N!" Someone said. I try to keep my eyes open to see Harry. He kneels down in front of me, cradling me in his arms. Then the exhaustion finally gets to me. I close my eyes and everything turns dark.
