Previously on Chapter 102

I turn to Y/N and burst into tears. I pull her closer and cry into the crook of her neck. "Y-Y/N... p-p-please... d-don't... don't l-leave me... I need you, Y/N..." I cried out.

Y/N... come back to me...

-Resurrection-

Draco P.O.V

I continue to hug Y/N tightly in my arms. I refuse to believe that she's gone. "Y-Y/N... p-please..." I said, begging her to come back. She can't leave me.

"C-Come back t-to me, Y/N... I'm b-begging you... I can't live without you..." I cried out. Everyone also cries their eyes out as I keep holding onto Y/N. I just want her back.

I hear footsteps. I look up to see a silhouette. He's a bit translucent. The words that came to my mind is that he's a spirit. I look at him in confusion. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Merlin..." he said. My eyes widened after he said his name.

He smiles at me and turns to look at Y/N, who's still laying in my arms. "Dear, Y/N Duchanne... you have made a very courageous action. So as a reward, I'll give you another chance to live... this will be your last chance. So live your life to the fullest..." he said. He lift his hand, palm facing upwards.

Suddenly, her whole body starts to glow. I pull back slightly. My eyes widened as her body starts to float slowly.

The light starts to get too bright, that I have to look away.

After a while, the lights died down. I turn my head to look at Y/N. Her body slowly land on the ground. I just scoot closer, observing her. The wound on her chest healed, as if it's not there in the first place.

I lean down and place my ear against her chest. I can't hear anything. I close my eyes, as tears starts to stream down my cheeks.

Suddenly, I hear her heart beating. I pull away and stare at Y/N in shock. "She's alive!" I yelled out. I can hear them gasping in shock. But I just keep my eyes on Y/N.

I place my hands on her cheeks. The color slowly returns to her cheeks. "Y/N? Can you hear me?" I said, in a soft voice. Her eyes flutter slowly and she slowly opens her eyes.

She looks around, and eventually her eyes landed on me. "Draco..." she said. My eyes widened as a let out a happy laugh. She moves to sit up and looks at me in confusion.

Y/N P.O.V

"Aren't I suppose to be dead?" I asked. "You were... but you came back!" He said. "H-How?" I asked, in shock. "Well... he- wait... where did he go?" He said, looking around.

"Who?" I asked. "Merlin! He was here! Well... he's a spirit. But he was here! Then... then your body starts to glow and you float. And... and now you're alive!" He said, everything in one breath. "Uhh..." I let out, tilting my head in confusion.

He lets out a sigh and shake his head. He turns to me and cups my cheeks softly. "You're alive, Y/N... that's what matters..." he said, smiling at me. I just smile at him.

"Y/N is alive!!" Someone yelled out. They starts to cheer happily. Some of them are clapping, others squealing or they're just plain out screams at top of their lungs. I just stare at them, not knowing how to react. I move a little, Draco gently pulls me up until I'm standing on my feet.

I turn my head, making eye contact with Hermione. I smile at her. She choke out a sob and runs to me, throwing her arms around me. I stumble a little, but manage to steady myself. Harry and Ron walks up to us, wrapping their arms around us. I got sandwiches in the middle of them.

"Ow!!" I yelped, when Hermione hits my shoulder. I turn to her and pout. "What you hit me for?" I asked. "You scared me, Y/N! You were dead! Do you know how sad I was??" She said, scolding me. "I'm sorry.." I said, looking down in guilt. Then I feel myself being pulled into a soft embrace. "But you're back..." she said. I just smile and pat her back.

"Welcome back, Y/N..." Harry said, pulling me into a hug after Hermione let go. Ron just gives me a warm smile. I smile at them. I turn to look at Draco, who had stepped aside so I can have a little reunion with my friends.

I pull away from Harry and walks towards him. He just stare at me. "Draco?" I said, waving my hand across his face. He blinks his eyes as he looks at me. He burst into tears and pulls me into a tight hug. I yelped in surprise.

But after I hear his soft sob, my eyes soften as I hug him back. He buries his face into the crook of my neck, as he held me as if his life depends on me. I can feel how scared he is. It's like, he's scared that if he let go, I'm going to disappear.

I pat his back gently. "I'm right here you know. I'm okay..." I said. "I w-was so s-scared... don't do that again..." he said. "I won't..." I said. "Promise?" He said. My heart ache at how broken he sound.

I pull away and smile at him. "I promise..." I said. He smiles at me and pulls me into a kiss. I slowly wraps my arms around his neck, kissing him back.

We pull away for air. I shriek when the they lift me up and starts throwing me. But eventually I start to laugh happily as they continue to throw me in the air.

Merlin brought me back to life. Even though his time came after me... he's still able to do so much more than me, who came from the generation that found magic. That alone taught me that no matter where or what family you came from, as long as you try your hardest... you will be able to achieve anything in life.

Well... it looks like I still have a lot to learn... and with the curse gone, I can focus on practicing Light magic. There will be no more Dark magic in my family... we're free!

But I can focus on practicing later. As of right now, I'm gonna enjoy my time with the people I cherish. Draco, Hermione, Harry, Ron along with everyone else that have stuck with me until now. As the war is now over, we can finally be in peace.
