You were confused by what Pierce had said. He was going to let you speak to Bucky? You didn't understand why he would give you the permission to talk to him. He didn't bring the guards with the two of you as he took you down to the room where you were supposedly were going to be able to speak to your husband.

"What are you getting out of this, Peirce?" you asked as the two of you walked down a dark hallway.

"Please, Winter, call me Alexander. I genuinely wish to help you."

"I don't even believe you." He took you into a room filled with computers.

"You really should be more positive, my dear. Now then, your husband has agreed to communicate with you today. You will be in here alone. We won't be in here. You two can say whatever you want. The door will be locked, and if you two finish up before an hour is up, push the button that is next to the door, and the guards will come to get you. You will get an hour to speak to him, and then the transmission will be stopped. Use your time carefully."

He then left the room. You could hear the door being locked. You looked around the room and saw that there was a large tv screen on one end of the room. You also saw that there was a chair over by it. You walked over to that end of the room. You then noticed the tv turn on. The screen filled with static. You then saw Bucky's face on the screen.

"Bucky!" you yelled when you saw him appear.

"(Y/N)! Where are you? Are you ok? What are they doing to you?" Since you didn't know that he had regained his memory, you thought that you needed to calm him down so that he wouldn't get upset like he had been when you had been abducted.

"I'm fine, Bucky. I don't know where we are."

"We? Are there others there with you?"

"There are three people here with me. There names are Clara, Nikolai, and a man named Gabe just arrived today. Gabe said he was one of the Howling Commandoes with you. Do you remember him?"

"Of course I remember him! He invaded the Hydra fortress with Steve and I. How did he get there?"

"He said that when you all invaded the base that he was left behind."

"I wonder what they did with him? I never remember seeing him. I wonder if we were kept at the same facility?" You were taken aback. He remembered?

"Bucky, do you remember what happened after you fell from the train?"

"Yes, doll. I finally got my memory back. You don't need to worry about me not remembering our past anymore. I remember everything."

"How is James?"

"He's perfect. We moved into the Tower again. Steve made us, but we both are enjoying living here again. It's nice to be closer to Steve. We've been planning a rescue mission for you. As soon as we figure out where you are, we are going to come and get you right then."

"That is good to hear, Buck. I miss you so much. How is everyone else?"

"I miss you too. So does James. Everyone else is fine. Thor and Clint baby proofed themselves and take care of James when I'm working with Steve and Nat. He's getting bigger by the day. I would show him to you, but I had to promise that it would only be me talking to you. Steve and the others say hi."

"How is Tony?"

"He's better. He trusts me now. I think that he enjoys having James and I here now. He really respects you. It makes me proud to have you as my wife. I love hearing people praise you rather than mock you for marrying this sorry boy from Brooklyn."

"Oh, yeah. People hate people from Brooklyn." Bucky got very serious looking.

"Doll, you know better than insulting my birthplace. Just because you aren't Brooklyn born and bred doesn't give you permission to insult those of us who are, especially since you married me. You should have learned to put up with me by now. We've been married close to 80 years." You laughed.

"Yes, but less than 10 of those years were actually spent together. That makes my mocking legal." He stuck his tongue out at you. "Hey, you mentioned Brooklyn! Don't blame me!" He rolled his eyes.

"Whatever you want to think, doll. You look pretty when you are flustered. That's one of the reasons that I fell in love with you."

"Why?"

"The first time I tried to kiss you, you turned as red as a tomato and started babbling. It didn't take you long to learn, though. The second time I thought you were going to suck the lips off of my face." you blushed.

"That is not true, and you know it!"

"Yeah, but it made you blush. That did happen before though, and you can't deny it."

"Bucky, I hadn't seen you for 70 years. Can you blame me?"

"No, but I expect another kiss like that when we rescue you." you laughed.

"Whatever you want to think, Soldier."

"Soldier? Since when do you talk like that?"

"Sorry, I've gotten used to the way Pierce talks."

"Don't apologize. It's not like it's the worst thing you could call me. The soldier is still a part of me. He'll always be a part of me now. I can't help it."

"I love you no different. I love every aspect of you, even the soldier. I hope you know that. The soldier doesn't scare me. I like to think of him as a handsome warrior who looks exactly like my husband." Bucky laughed.

"It's a good thing that you weren't hired by Hydra to name the experiments. I think that the Winter Soldier has a better ring to it than the Handsome Warrior."

"Not in my opinion." He laughed. "But at least Hydra knows how to dress their assassins! I've seen pictures of you as the soldier, and I must admit that they are the most attractive pictures of you. One of your ways to kill people could have just been letting them see you, you were so attractive. I mean, it may have only worked with women, but still!" He just shook his head.

"Are you having fun?"

"Buck, I'm just trying to lighten the mood. Do you really want to think about the problems at hand? I don't know where I am, Hydra is usually controlling my mind during the day, and there is no way for us prisoners to escape. There are times when everything seems hopeless."

"Hydra is doing what?" He looked scared, but then calmed down. "Don't loose faith, (Y/N). Steve, Natasha, and I will find you, and we will free all of you. Please be safe. I don't know what I would if you died. James and I would be alone."

"I'll try, Bucky, but you promised me before that you wouldn't come after me. What happened to that promise?"

"I'm in my right mind now, (Y/N). I have to rescue you."

"Bucky, if it would come down to you staying safe or rescuing me, I'd want you to be safe."

"I understand, but I can't let them use you, doll. You are my wife, not a killer."
