Part 1
*Yay!*
When you woke up, you felt cold. You opened your eyes slowly, hoping the whole thing was just a bad dream. It sadly wasn't. You sat up and looked around you. You were in a dimly lit cell. It looked like it had the same kind of door as the cells you and Bucky had been in when you were being kept in New York. You had a feeling that you weren't in New York anymore. On top of the fact that the cells looked different, you heard people speaking a different language. That language was Russian.
You walked over to the iron bars that made up the door to see if there were any other cells in the hall. You could tell that there were two other cells to your left. You thought that you could make out a woman standing in one, but you couldn't be sure. You looked down the hall to the right, and all you saw was a heavy looking metal door. It suddenly opened, and Alexander Pierce and 6 Hydra agents entered the hallway. Two stopped in front of each cell, and Pierce stopped in front of yours.
"Morning, Winter." you remained silent. "Did you sleep well? You've been asleep for two days. We were scared that you wouldn't wake up. It would have been tragic if you hadn't woken up."
"Depends on what side if the bars you're on." you said. Pierce chuckled.
"Quite. Get her out." The agents unlocked the door and each took an arm. They led you down the hall to your right. You saw that there was a man and a woman being led behind you.You were all taken to a training room.
Once you were all standing in the room, you could finally get a good look at the other two. The girl appeared to be around 20 and very petite. The man appeared to be around 30 and had a piece of metal on his face that covered his left eye. There was a robotic eye on it that was moving to look around the room.
"Winter's Bride, I would like to introduce you to the people who will be your partners. This (he pointed to the girl) is Snapdragon. She can control plants and grow them from her hands." you noticed that there were metal cylinders on her hands stopping her from escaping. "And this (he pointed to the man) is Second Sight. When Sight was first captured, it was noted that he had been blind in his left eye since birth, so we gave him a mechanical eye that can zoom in or out for a mile. He is also a very talented marksman." Pierce turned to look at you. "Then there is you. The final piece to the puzzle. You, my dear Winter, are the leader of The Three."
"What is The Three?" you asked.
"After you were captured, it was decided that after you were trained, you would be kept in a cryofreeze until your eventual partners would be kidnapped. Sight was kidnapped in the 50's, and Snapdragon was kidnapped in the 60's. That was the plan at least. We both know that it didn't go that way."
"Why would you want me to be the leader of a group? Why didn't you give them to Bucky, I mean the Winter Soldier?"
"He was already the most skilled assassin we had ever had. We knew that he didn't need any partners." Is it bad that you felt a little proud of your husband for being the best assassin? "Now, it is your turn, and maybe someday your son's."
"NO!" you yelled, trying to loosen the grip the guards had on you. They just made it worse. "My son will never be harmed by you. Oh wait, he already has! Hydra took his father away from him for 70 years! I will never let you get your hands on him again!"
"Well, we'll have to see about that, but right now it is time for you to meet your team. Guards." The guards let go of the three of you and left the room with Pierce. You all heard the large metal door lock behind them. You ran over to the door and tried to open it.
"It won't open. We've tried many times." the girl said. She then translated what she had said so the man could understand.
"Она подходит." said the man.
"He said that I'm right. I'm Clara by the way. This is Nikolai. What is your name?" she sat down on the ground and patted a spot next to her with one of the metal cylinders on her hands. Nikolai sat down on the other side of her, and you went over and sat down as well.
"I'm (Y\N)." you said. "Where are we?"
"Сибирь." said Nikolai. She translated again.
"We are in Siberia. Where are you from? Nikolai is from Russia, and I am from Maine in America. My parents were immigrants from Russia, though, so I can communicate with Nikolai while no one else can."
"I'm originally from Ohio, but my family moved to Brooklyn when I was 12." you said. "Can Nikolai understand us?"
"No, I have to translate for him. Before I came here, they had to have a translator for him, but when they brought me here, I took over the job after they heard that I speak fluent Russian. I like to think that Nikolai likes that I'm the only one who can understand him." She smiled at him while translating. He chuckled.
"Думаю, что бы вы хотели, Клара, но некоторые из нас не нравится говорить наши похитителей."(Think whatever you'd like to, Clara, but some of us don't enjoy talking to our captors.) Clara rolled her eyes as she translated to you *comments in parentheses from now on are Clara translating for you*.
"Our cells are right across from each other. I apologize now if you hear us talking at all hours of the night. We enjoy talking late at night after a long day of training, or at least what we assume to be training. "
"You don't know what you do?" you asked.
"Мы никогда не помню дни. Они делают это как то, так что мы не можем сопротивляться. Мы только помнить по утрам и вечерам. Это может быть трудно несколько дней, но мы привыкли к нему." (We never remember the days. They make it like that so we can't resist. We only remember the mornings and evenings. It can be hard some days, but we have gotten used to it.)
"What do they do to you?" They both looked down.
"They have words, different for each of us, that control us." said Clara. Nikolai placed his hand on Clara's metal "glove". "It isn't too bad if you don't struggle. The worst part is watching others." She looked over at Nikolai.
"Клара справа. Крики может быть в разы кровожадный. Иногда он чувствует, как это лучше быть первым, чтобы идти под, но тогда это сложно для других. Все это страшно, но по крайней мере мы можем говорить в ночное времяI." (Clara is right. The screams can be bloodcurdling at times. Sometimes it feels like it is better to be the first to go under, but then it is hard for the other. The whole thing is terrible, but at least we can speak at night.) The guards then reentered the room and took the three of you back to your cells. After eating your meager portion of dinner, you fell into a fitful sleep. All you could think of were Bucky and James, and how much you missed them.
