Even though she's not my real mother... and I'm not a real human. I can still live my life as one. That's what I'm going to do for the rest of my life. I'll try my best to continue my life... as a human.

-A Second Date-

Y/N P.O.V

As usual, I go around the town with Luisa to help the townspeople. So far, they asked me to make a barn, a mirror, a desk, and other house hold items. I happily fulfill their requests. It's a hidden pleasure to see the happy smile on their faces once I provide what they wanted.

Today is the day I'll be having a break. None of the townspeople needs anything either. So I can take a break today. So I decided to head to my favorite spot since the day I got her, the lake.

"I knew I'd find you here..." someone said. I turn my head to see Camilo. He walks towards me and take a seat next to me. I smile softly at him and scoots close to him. He smiles at me and wraps his arms around my shoulder. I place my head on his.

"You came here a lot, huh?" He said, running a hand through my hair. "Yeah... this place is comfortable. It helps me clear my head, or when I just want to have a relaxing time" I said. "This is also the first place we met..." he said.

"Yeah... time sure flies fast, isn't it? It's been 5 years since we met" he said. "It sure is" I said, nodding my head. I pull away to look at him. He tucks a strand piece of hair behind my ear.

"I'm so happy that I get to meet you, Y/N. You mean you much to me. I love you, mi vida" he said. "I love you too, Camilo" I said, smiling at him. He cups the side of my cheek and leans in. He place a soft kiss on my lips. I close my eyes and kisses him back.

He pulls away, only to place another soft kiss on my forehead. He leans his forehead against mine. I close my eyes, with a smile on my face.

He moves to lay down. He pats his arm, signaling me to lay down. I scoot closer to him and lay down. He pulls me closer to his side. I place my head on the crook of his neck.

Camilo P.O.V

Y/N is helping the townspeople as always. So I have time. I want to talk to her mother. I want to ask for her blessing because I plan and proposing to her. I want to make her my wife and officially make her be a part of the Madrigal family. But to do that, I have to ask for her mother's blessing.

"Mrs. L/N?" I said, after seeing her. She turns to me and smiles. "Yes, dear? And please... call me mom instead" she said. "O-Okay, mom" I said, nervously. She smiles at me and pat my shoulder.

"So... what do you need?" She asked. "I uhh... wanna ask for your blessing" I said. "My... My blessing?" She said. "Yes... I want to propose Y/N. I want to make her my wife" I said. Her eyes lit up at what I just said.

"Oh my God! Yes! Yes of course! You have my FULL blessing" she said, happily. I let out a sigh of relief. I was scared for a moment. I thought she's not going to accept me.

"Thank you, Mom..." I said. She smiles and pulls me into a hug. I let out a laugh and hugs her back. I can feel excitement radiating from her body, making me smile. Now that I finally got her blessing. I just have to make a plan on how to propose Y/N... and I know exactly what to do.

Time-skip

Y/N P.O.V

"Y/N!" Someone calls out. I turn around only to get pulled into a hug. By the scent, I can tell that it's my boyfriend. "Camilo! You scared me" I said, hitting his back softly. He lets out a chuckle and pulls away from me.

"Sorry, Mi Vida... I didn't mean to scare you" he said. "What a dork..." I said, scrunching my nose at him. He lets out a chuckle and pinch my nose. I whined and rub my nose. He giggles and kisses my nose. I blush deeply, causing him to laugh.

"By the way, are you busy?" He said. "Not really, why?" I asked. "Great! Come with me" he said, grabbing my hand. "Woah! Where are we going?? Slow down!!" I yelped, trying to keep up with his pace. He lets out a laugh and keeps him pulling me along.

After a while he suddenly stops, causing me to bump into his back. "Sheesh, Camilo!" I said. "Sorry..." he said, laughing. I roll my eyes and pinches his cheeks. "Owowowowowowow! Let go, Y/N!" He whined, as he try to pull my hands away from his cheeks.

He runs his cheeks after I finally pull my hands away from them. He looks at me with a pout, making me giggle. I place a kiss on both of his cheeks and grin at him.

"There. I kissed it better" I said. "My lips hurts too..." he said, puckering his lips. "Oh... you just want me to kiss you. Cliché" I said, rolling my eyes. He rolls his eyes and steals a kiss. "Hey!" I said, making him let out a chuckle.

"Come on... let's keep going. We're almost there. Oh! I almost forgot" he said. I look at him in confusion. He reach inside his pocket and grab a blindfold. He moves to stand behind me and covers my eyes.

"Is this really necessary?" I said. "Of course! Because it's going to be a surprise. But you're going to love it. Trust me" he said. He gently grab my hand and start to guide me.

A Few Moments Later

Camilo stops walking after we walk for a while. "Can I open my blindfold off now?" I asked. "I'll help you" he said. I feel his hands on my head as he gently take my blindfold off. I squint my eyes from the bright light.

After a while, my eyes finally adjusted to the light. I slowly open them. A soft gasp escape my lips when I see the scenery in front of me.

"Wow..." I said. Camilo moves to stand next to me. He smiles at me as he slips his hands in mine. "Do you like it, love?" He asked. I turn to look at him and smiles. "I love it..." I said.

A slow song starts to play and he offers a hand to me. "May have this dance, Mi Vida?" He said. I smile and nod my head. "Of course" I said. He turns me to face him. He place his hands on my hips and gently pulls me closer to him.

After a while, he suddenly pulls away from me. I look at him in confusion. "What?" I asked. He suddenly crouch down, while clutching his stomach. He falls to the ground, making me gasp.

"Camilo! What's wrong?!" I asked. "I... I need..." he said. "What do you need? Tell me" I said. "I need you to be my wife" he said, moving to one knee. I let out a sigh.

"Camilo... you scared me to death! I thought you're hurt or something. But you... wait... what?" I said. He just smiles at me. He have a goofy grin on his face.

"Y/N... you're the most amazing girl I've ever met. The day I saw you by the lake. I was awestruck by your beauty. When you say you'll be my girlfriend, I feel like I'm on cloud 9. But now, Mi Vida. I have one more request from you..." he said. He takes a velvet box out of his pocket. He opens it to reveal the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.

"Will you marry me, Mi Vida? And officially become Y/N Madrigal?" he said. My hands went up to my mouth as I gasp in shock. Tears slowly streams down both of my cheeks.

"Yes... yes!!!" I yelled out. He grins happily. He stand up and slips the ring in my ring finger. He picks me up and twirl us around happily. I let out a laugh as I hold onto his shoulders.

"Thank you so much, Y/N. You have no idea how happy I am right now..." he said, after placing me down on my feet. He wraps his arms around my waist, holding me closer to him.

"I love you..." he said, leaning his forehead against mine. "I love you too, Camilo..." I said, smiling at him. He grins and leans down to place a soft kiss on my lips. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back. I can't believe it...

I'm getting married!!!
