Tokoyami POV

"L-Let go"

"Tch come on man the kid doesn't have anything valuable on him"

"Fine but don't think you're off the hook kid
If we see you snooping around in our part of town again their will be consequences"

"O-ok"

They left luckily only leaving me with a sprained ankle from trying to run away from them

"You should of let me teach them a lesson Fumi"

"It's fine we should head back either way"

I made my way out of the ally way and into the streets

You would think seeing a 14 year old boy walking around the streets alone every day for months now would get people's attention or at least show some type of interest in the situation.

But from what I've learn is people don't CARE
They only care for themselves and most certainly not others

When I was younger I dreamed of being a Pro Hero saving people and having people care about me

Heck I would look up to them hoping one day they'd save me

They'd save me from the awful life I had to live through

They'd take me away and set me free

*But Nobody Came

I saved myself and now Pros are part of my troubles because some stupid kid is being reported for "trespassing" or "looking suspicious" because heavens a bird headed boy is the equivalent to a criminal.

And maybe I am

I made it to a park and decided to stay for the night knowing it would be dangerous to walk around in the streets alone in the dark

The park is a hot spot for Pros making sure the civilians are safe and comfortable  but at night everyone leaves leaving a perfect place to sleep for the night

I sat on a bench thinking on where I could hid in

'The top of the slide would be a good place
It's small and secluded but big enough for me'

'What about up there on the top of the playground equipment
It even looks like a little house !!'

'Maybe but it seems to obviously'

'Or what if you just sleep here on this bench !
It's comfy enough'

'To risk-'

"Hi there"

My internal monologue was interrupted by some lady who had suddenly appeared next to me on the bench

"U-Uh sorry I didn't know I was bothering you Ma'am I'll just leave"

I motioned to get up but she stopped me

"No it's fine I could use the company"

"O-Okay only if you don't mind"

'I could knock her out so we could make a run for it if you want m'

'Don't even think about it'

"So do you come here often ?" she asked me

"Kinda whenever I'm not busy and you ?"

"All the time since I was a little girl love feeding the birds"

'Think we could get some of that ?'

'Hush you !!'

"I actually haven't been coming in awhile due to my husband passing away"

"Oh well I'm sorry you had to go through that"

"It's fine but thanks for the concern
Anyway enough about me how have you been doing ?"

"G-Good I guess"

"Wait were are my manners
Names Hebi Kitsune but just call me Kitsune"

"Kitsune ? ok names......Fumi"

"Fumi huh well it's a pleasure meeting you oh wait a sec"

"Okay ?"

She disappeared

'That was weird'

"Yeah-"

"I'm back !!"

"Oh where'd you go ?"

"I got something for us"

She pulled out a little red tub and inside were small macaroons

"I couldn't"

"It's fine I accidentally made more than enough for myself so have as many as you want"

"O-okay but if you insist"

I got one and started eating it

It was pretty good or that could just be my hunger

We talked for awhile about our lives and our hobbies,well minus the part of me living on the street

She told me about her daughter,who is already in college, and her cat, Muffin

Soon it became dark so we said our good byes and she left

Crawling into the slide tube I was able to get a good nights rest

The next day I went back to back "home" to eat breakfast and scavenged for things
Then around the same time like yesterday I went to the park and like she said she was sitting in the same bench like always

We talked some more and after she left I did the same routine like last night

This went on for almost a week until one day I asked her about her quirk

"It's called Absolute Location I can teleport to anywhere I want but only if I know the place very well"

"That's amazing"

I then introduced her to Dark Shadow

"That's quite a quirk you got there"

"Thanks he is quite something"

"Aw Fumi don't make me blush"

"Anyway I have to get going I need to meet someone"

"Ok bye"

The next day I sat in the same bench and waited
And waited
And waited

But she never showed

"Maybe she's busy today.."

"Probably"

"*sigh* well I should get back before it gets to late"

I stated leaving the park but near the entrance a guy came out of a white van and started calling out to me

"Hey kid"

'Should I run ?'

"Your friends with Kitsune right?"

"Maybe he's her friend ?"

"Y-yeah I am"

He walked up to be and grabbed my arm pulling me to the van

"H-Hey let go !!"

"Don't struggle kid I need the reward money"

"Juyodenai !! What are you doing ??"

'Kitsune !!!'

"What do you think I'm doing ?
I'm getting my bounty money and your getting your revenge on the guy who killed your husband"

"I didn't know he was just a kid !!"

"Are you really chickening out now ?!
Come on we already have him"

"And then what ?
We have no idea why they want him for all we know we could be sending him to his death!!"

"And why all of the sudden you care ?
Last week you would of agreed to kill him without a second of doubt"

"Still I'm not going to let you take him !"

"Whatever listen I'm getting the money so your either with me or without me"

"Without !!!"

Dark Shadow pushed the guy off of me as I made a run for it

"Get back here !!!!"

"Run Fumi !!!" I heard Kitsune yell

I ran into the center of the city hoping to lose him

I kept running till I found myself "home"

"You ok Fumikage ?"

".......yeah just felling a little betrayed"

"Well at least you know I'll never betray you"

"Really and why's that ?"

"You're way more cool than anybody we'll ever meet"

"Thanks Dark Shadow"

Hey guys just wondering if you noticed my little running joke with some of my characters name

Like for example Juyodenai in Japanese mean unimportant because he's just an unimportant background character and it also means not award because he didn't get his reward  : )
So yeah try searching up some of my characters names and see what comes up ^<^

Also I have no idea when I'll update again (school is keeping me hostage)
