Drakes POV

I never wanted it so bad.

Blood in my hands and a sinister smile I wish I could contain. But just picturing that man laying at my feet begging for me to either let him go or kill him made me just... Feel so Alive.

I just wanted to taste what Revenge felt like.

I bet it tasted bittersweet. Because there will always be a negative and positive things to revenge.

"Drake? Why are you smiling like that?" Zaid asked.

"Oh. Nothing."

I don't think Zaid believed me.

"Oh Drake... How you feeling?" He rubbed my stomach gently as we laid together in bed.

"I'm feeling fine." I got rid of my evil smile and replaced it with a happy one as we looked down at my now starting bump.

I was still scared, yes, but I had Julian and Zaid and Violet and Dominik. Wait Max to.

"Good. I hope she/he looks like you..."

"And not that monster?" I finished for him.

"Yeah..." he massaged my stomach just a big more making giggle a little.

"So what do you want to do today? I've hardly left this room, let alone this house." I pouted.

"How about we go see a movie tonight and go out to dinner?"

I nodded enthusiastically. "Yes!"

He laughed. "Okay!" he kissed my cheek.

"Can we go now?"

"No. I want to make sure you look nice when we go out." he kissed my nose. "and warm cause it'll be cold." he kissed my chin. "and make sure your all clean~"

I giggled. " I can do that myself though."

"But I want to help." He pouted now.

"Okay you can. Get a bath start and you can do my back and my hair."

Zaid pecked my lips and got up. "thanks babe." He got up and went into the bathroom. Leaving me in the dark.

Ever since he choose to be the father of my child he has been trying to insert himself into every part of my life. He really wants to be there for me. Sometimes it's sweet and sometimes it's annoying.

"Okay waters in the tub Drake." Zaid said in a happy voice a he approached me.

"Okay. Help me in there than." I held up a hand, which he took and helped me out of bed and into the bathroom where I undressed myself and climbed in.

Zaid started washing my hair. "Which movie would you like to see?"

"It doesn't matter."

"You sure...?"

"Positive." I affirmed.

"You seem really distant though." he muttered.

"It's because I can do this myself you know... I just want to know why your inserting yourself so suddenly." I sighed.

"It's because my brother doesn't believe I'm serious about you because we only met a couple weeks. He thinks I only said yes because you asked me I didn't say yes because you asked, but he's not convinced. I just thought the more time I spend with you. The more he might realize I am serious about this."

"It's okay Zaid. You should of said no when I asked anyway." I mumbled. not really hurt about this. I should have expected it really. Asking a stranger to be a father.

Pfft. I was being stupid.

"Drake I'm serious-"

"-and so am I. Zaid you have to understand that." I sighed and rinsed off an got up out of the tub. Blindly searching for a towel. "It wasn't fair of me to ask that of you."

"I can handle it!" he grabbed my hand and placed it on the towel. We made eye contact and he was staring at me seriously.

I watched him closely before heaving a sigh. "Okay fine. You may be able to handle it, but I'm still unconvinced if you really wanted this."

"I did Drake. Don't worry." He kissed my forehead and we headed out.

"There haven't been any sightings of the Umbra Fata or Carson. But his brothers called and said they are working inside the Umbra Fata for us and have given us tips on where to be when they show up." I vaguely heard Dominik's voice explain.

"Should I send the pets out?" Julian asked.

"We have pets?" I opened the door and with blind eyesight looked toward the center of the room. My answer didn't need to be seen though. A demonic presence filled the room along with growls.

"Drake!" Julian said in shock.

"Dad?" I took a step forward but I was tackled backwards by a large creature. I screamed and went to defend myself but by the time my arms were up it was backing off.

"Drake! Are you okay?!" Julian grasped my hand and I looked around in a panic. Screaming again when I saw the two hulking black wolves. Their eyes looked empty as they glared at me, it's yellow teeth barred, each tooth about the size of my finger. They were skinny like they hasn't eaten in ages and their fur was standing up. Blood/ drool dripping from it's open jaws.

"WHAT ARE THOSE?!" I panicked and clung to Julian like my life depended on it.

"I made one of them based of the original. Their... I don't know but they won't hurt you I assure you." He tried to calm me.

"Drake? Wha-" Max, Violet and Zaid walked up to the door. Their eyes going wide, but before they could do anything Dominik beat them to it.

"They won't hurt you, their under Julians control." Dominik pet one of their backs making me flinch. "They've been living on their own far away from here. Julian sent them away at one point because I didn't trust them. Than when you guys came along we decided to just them be so we would never have this problem..."

"They don't look safe..."

"Which is why we never called them back."

"But their staying now because we need them. We're planning an attack on the Umbra Fata."

I heard little whimpers in the back corner of the room. Seeing four little demon pups.

Oh this is getting weird...

"Dad...?" I looked at Julian.

"Oh you mean the pups? Their harmless to. Beware of Rei though, he likes to bite." Julian showed me his hand which was mostly healed but you could still see the little indents on his hand where he was bitten. I grimaced. "Don't do that. These wolves aren't just known for their fighting abilities but their healing abilities as well."

I buried my face in my hands. Groaning.

"Why...? Why was I born into this family?"

My main focus has been Experiment XX09 since I'm almost finished with it (go read it!)
