Naina was preparing the breakfast and Deepika was helping her as Ria was not well...

Ananya was still asleep, while others were getting ready for work...

'Aunty how do you manage to do so many things at a same time...?' Deepika said while cutting the fruits

'So many things...? Like what...?' Naina asked

'Like managing the house, then your office and also the NGO that you run... Don't you feel tired...?' Deepika asked

'You learn it with time beta... When I was of your age, I didn't know how to boil water... ' Naina laughed

'That's impossible Aunty... I mean you are so pro at so many things now, it's hard to believe that you didn't do any work when you were young... ' Deepika exclaimed shocked

'That's true... Ask your Uncle or Jai Uncle if you don't believe me... ' Naina smiled preparing the batter for pancakes

'You guys knew each other before marriage...?' Deepika asked

'Yes, we were childhood friends... ' Naina smiled remembering her old times

'Wow... You guys had a love marriage... That's so romantic... ' Deepika said dreamily

Naina laughed at this..
'Yeah kind off... Actually I had a huge crush on your uncle when I was young, and his mother liked me a lot, so you know there was some kind of parental arrangement involved too... ' She said

'Wow....!' Deepika exclaimed

'Take that as a hint Deepika... ' Vansh entered the kitchen and winked at Deepika who gave him an uninterested look

'What do you mean...?' Naina asked Vansh

'Nothing Maa, you'll know soon... ' Vansh grinned

'Crazy boy... ' Naina muttered, she and Deepika continued preparing breakfast for everyone, meanwhile Vansh entertaining them with his jokes

'Maa do you like Deepika...?' Vansh asked and Deepika stopped her work, glaring at Vansh

'Of course... She is one of my favorites... ' Naina said side hugging Deepika

'No I mean as a daughter in law....' Vansh smirked and Deepika stared at him shocked

'What's going on...?' Naina said eyeing Deepika and Vansh

'I am planning to marry her.... ' He laughed and Deepika throws a carrot at him

'Eww... No...  Aunty don't listen to him... ' Deepika said making a disgusted face

'Well I would love to make her my DIL, but I think you guys are very young to marry... ' Naina gets serious

'Woooaahh...  Maa.... I was joking... I don't want to marry her...  Relax...' Vansh panicked

'Yeah Aunty it's nothing like that...' Deepika panicked too and Naina laughed at this

'I have a better choice Maa... Not her eww.... Make Ved marry her, not me.... ' Vansh said dramatically

'Heyyyy.... I don't want to marry you either.... ' Deepika countered

'Don't say like this Vansh, she is a very nice girl... ' Naina scolds Vansh and Deepika sticks her tongue out to tease him

'Not for me... ' Vansh shrugged his shoulders

'Fine I'll marry her off, with Ved... ' Naina said

'Please do that... *whispers to Deepika* That's what she wants.... ' Vansh said and Deepika hits him

'Aauunnttttyyyy......' They hear a screeching voice and wince

They see Shanaya entering the kitchen trying to run in her heels and hugs Naina...

Vansh and Deepika roll their eyes and Deepika says to Vansh
'I think there is someone else, who is taking 'impress the mother' way to reach Ved... '

'Don't worry, Mom will never approve  her, My parents don't like her father at all, they just bear him because his wife is mom's good friend and our grand dads were besties.... ' Vansh said

'Okay.... ' Deepika says continuing her work

'What made you come here at this time beta...?' Naina asked Shanaya

'Aunty, Ved promised that he will teach me how to prepare a draft proposal... As I am join Papa's firm soon... ' Shanaya smiled

'Ohh.. That's great beta....  So you will accompany Ved to the office...?' Naina asked

'No aunty, Ved said he will take a day off or go after the lunch, depending on the time we take to finish the draft... ' Shanaya grinned and Deepika - Vansh frown at this

'Okay then... You go to his room, he must be awake, I think... Is he Deepika...?' Naina asked Deepika

'Yes Aunty he is awake, he and Aayan were working together on something when I went give them the fruits ... ' Deepika smiled and Shanaya frowns at this 

'Okay... Go beta... ' Naina said to Shanaya

'Aunty if you don't mind, will you send our breakfast at his room please... He won't like disturbance while working... ' Shanaya said specifically eyeing Deepika at which Deepika gets confused

'Ved always has his breakfast with us, no matter how important his own presentation is, and you think he will miss the breakfast for that stupid draft proposal of yours...' Vansh said angrily

'Vansh...' Naina warns

'Buzz off weirdo, go do your work and get going.... ' Vansh said to Shanaya

'Is this how you talk to the guests...' Naina scolds Vansh

'It's okay Aunty, there is always a black sheep in the family, not everyone can be perfect right... ' Shanaya comments and walks away from there, Naina and Deepika frown at this...

'Just like her father... ' Naina mutters

'Why does Ved tolerate her, I just don't understand... ' Vansh huffs

'Let it be my child... Don't spoil your mood....' Naina kisses Vansh on his cheeks and he smiles

'Here, go give this breakfast to your Chachi, and make sure she finishes it, also check her fever... If it's high, call me...' Naina hands a tray to Vansh and he goes out of the kitchen

'Deepika beta, go wake Ananya up... Ask her to get ready before the breakfast at 9... ' Naina says, Deepika nods and leaves the kitchen

Ananya's room

'Wake up Annie Boo... ' Deepika whispers in Ananya's ears and she groans and rolls on the other side

'Hey wake up... ' Deepika shakes her now

'Deeps 5 minutes... ' Ananya snuggles inside the quilt

Deepika sighs and then smirks evilly

She snatches her quilt and slowly creeps into her bed and starts tickling Ananya...

'Wake up... Wake up... Wake up.... ' She grins while tickling and Ananya starts laughing trying to get out of Deepika's hold

'Deeps.... Hahhaha.... No....  Hahahaha... Please.... Hahhaa.... Stop it.... ' Ananya pleads but Deepika continues her torture

Ananya sits on her bed, and raises her hands
'Okay okay... I am up... ' She says

'Good girl... ' Deepika hugs her from the back...

'Now go get ready, Aunty said breakfast will be served at 9, this means you only have half n hour... ' Deepika gives Ananya the toothbrush

'Okay....' Ananya says getting up from her bed

'Here wear this today... ' Deepika takes out a denim jumpsuit and white canvases matching with it

'Wow... Nice choice Deeps... See we'll be twinning today... ' she points at Deepika who was wearing similar outfit, but of a black color...

'Yeaahh.... ' Deepika grinned..

'I'll be out in 15 mins... ' Ananya said and walked inside the bathroom

Deepika walks out of Ananya's room and collides with Ved, who along with Shanaya was going towards the study room...

'Oops sorry... ' Deepika apologized

'It's okay Deep... ' Ved began but Shanaya cut him off in between

'Why can't you watch your step girl, why you always come in Ved's way intentionally.... ' Shanaya sneers

'Excuse me, I didn't intentionally come....' Deepika matches her tone, but she rudely interrupts her again

'I know how girls like you think, to trap rich guys like Ved, and live a lavish lifestyle, which your middle class fathers can't even think off... ' Shanaya said and Ved gets angry on this

'Shanaya... Can you hear yourself... What are you saying...? Where are your basic manners...!' Ved scolds her

'How dare you bring my parents in this....' Deepika says angrily, tears filling her eyes

'I am telling the truth, you listen to me, Ved is the heir of a 1000 Cr enterprise, and he will marry a rich girl like me, so stop dreaming about him understand... A glass and a Diamond has no match.... ' Shanaya said

'Enough Shanaya... ' Ved says angrily glaring at her...

'I never dreamed of marrying the heir of E market... And don't you worry... I am not the competition for you... ' Deepika says looking at Ved, who stares at her helplessly...

Deepika turns around and finds Vansh glaring angrily at Shanaya

She runs towards him and hugs him tightly, Vansh hugs her back, glaring at Ved and Shanaya

'It's not worth trying Vansh, *sob* she is right *sob* I don't deserve him *sob* We have no match... *sob*....' She sobs on Vansh's chest

'Shh... Don't listen to that bitch....' Vansh whispers to her and Ved comes forward to comfort Deepika, but Vansh stops him

'Handle your package... Maa will take care of her... ' Vansh says to Ved and drags Deepika along with him....

Vansh brings Deepika in the kitchen, where she runs and hugs Naina and starts crying

'What happened...?  Why is she crying...?' Naina asks Vansh caressing Deepika's hair

'That witch Shanaya accused her for trapping Ved for his money... ' Vansh said angrily

'What...!' Naina gets angry...'Let me talk to her....' she says

'Ved will deal with her... ' Vansh said

'Don't cry beta... I know you have no such intention... I trust you my child... Stop crying.... ' Naina wiped her tears kissed her on forehead

Vansh gives her a glass of water and she drinks it..

'If she wants money, why will she trap Ved... Eww... She'll go for someone better right... Ignorant bi *looks at Naina* girl.... ' Vansh joked and Naina laughed and Deepika too chuckled

'Don't mind whatever she said... ' Naina said and Deepika nodded wiping her tears

'I'll call Ananya... ' Deepika said and walks out of kitchen

'Maa.. Why do you allow Shanaya to come here,  when you don't like her too... ' Vansh whines

'Beta, Shikha is a good friend of mine, how can I not let her daughter come here, also she is Ved's friend... ' Naina said

'Yeah but I don't like... ' Vansh said but he stopped in between when they heard a loud thud and then Deepika's cry in pain

They look at each other and then rush out of the kitchen

They ran towards the living room, from where her cries were coming

Deepika was lying near the staircase, with a small cut on her forehead, and blood was coming out, she was crying in pain holding her left hand, and Shanaya was standing upstairs looking horrified...

Ved came out of the dining room and gasped seeing Deepika crying in pain
He ran towards her

'Oh my god Deepika... How did this happen... ' he said holding her, trying to pick her up

'Please don't touch me, your friend will think that I am doing this purposely...' Deepika said and then cried in pain

'Shut up Deepika... Who cares what she says, you are hurt... You tell me can you stand...?' he asks holding her

Deepika cries and nods in negative

'Damn it... How did this happen...?'  Vansh said as Ved picked Deepika on his arms and she cried, snuggling closer to Ved, staining his shirt with her blood

Aayan and Arjun came out running, also Rudra, Saanjh and others...

'OMG Di... Are you fine...? ' Saanjh cried scared

'Ved take her to Ananya's room... ' Arjun ordered

'I'll call the doctor... ' Sash said dialling number on his phone

Ved walked upstairs, holding Deepika and looked at Shanaya who seemed to be scared and pissed at the same time...
He ignored her and walked straight to Ananya's room

Ananya came out of the bathroom, and gasped seeing Deepika's condition, when Ved made her lie on Ananya's bed...

'Deeps...!  How did this happen...?' She rushed towards her and held Deepika's arms

'Shanaya what did you see...?' Naina asked her

'I don't know aunty, when I saw her, she was already falling down the stairs...' Shanaya said and Deepika glared at her, tears rolling down her eyes..

'Why do I feel you pushed her down...?' Vansh glared at her

'Vansh... ' Arjun warned and Vansh huffed

'I didn't do anything...' Shanaya said

'Relax beta, no one is blaming you... ' Arjun said

Doctor came in and asked everyone to go out, but Ananya refused to leave her so except, Ananya everyone left the room

'Doctor says she might've broken her legs... What will I say to her mother... ' Naina said worriedly

'Nothing will happen mom, don't worry... ' Aayan said

Doctor comes out after 15 mins
'Her leg is sprained and I think there is a hairline fracture in her left arm, Because her body's weight fell on her left arm... bring her to the clinic in the evening for the X ray... Else she is fine... I have bandaged her wound... ' he said

'Thank you sir... ' Ved thanked him and Vansh walked him out

They walked inside Ananya's room, and Naina caressed her face..
'I'll send your breakfast here, take rest beta.. And if you need anything call me... Okay... ' she said and Deepika nodded

'Take care Deepika... ' Shanaya said and Ananya glared at her, while Deepika looked away...

'I'll drop you at your house Di ... ' Rudra offered and Shanaya nodded

She looked at Ved, who looked away and sighing she left...

'Annie take care of her... ' Ved said and Ananya nodded

2 hours later...

Deepika was sleeping and Ananya was sitting on her bean bag, with Bruno on her lap

Aayan enters her room and takes a seat beside Ananya..

'Are you okay...?' Aayan asks

Ananya sighs... 'Yeah...'

'Don't lie... ' Aayan said and Ananya eyes fills with tears, she gets up from her seat and walks outside at her balcony

Aayan follows her.. 'You know you can share with me.. I won't make fun of you... I promise....' he said and she takes a deep breath

'What if Aunty doesn't allow Deepika come here after this...?' Ananya says her voice cracking

'Why will she do that...?' Aayan asked

'What if she says don't be friends with me...  What will I do...?  How will I survive without her...? I mean she is my....' Ananya said and began crying

'Hey hey... Nothing like this will happen... ' Aayan scooped her in his arms and she sobbed on his chest

'Deeps is my bestest friend... How will I survive if she goes away... ' Ananya cried

'Ananya she is not going anywhere... Calm down... ' Aayan caressed her hair

'How do you know...?' Ananya asked

'I just know... ' He said hugging her tightly

'If something like this happens, will you come with me to convince aunty...?' she asked

Aayan chuckled..
'Yes I will come from Bangalore to convince her...I promise... ' he said

'Thank you... ' Ananya said hugging him tighter

After few minutes, She gets alarmed and leaves Aayan wiping her tears..

'Thanks for supporting... ' Ananya smiled

'Anytime... ' Aayan pulls her cheeks and walks inside her room...

What Am I doing..?
He has to go from here..  !! She thought
