Vansh's house...

Aayan opens his eyes and stretches his arms and legs to relax, but his back started hurting as he was lying on the sofa, whose length was shorter than Aayan's 6'2" tall frame, and it's cushions were hard and really uncomfortable to sleep...

'Damn my back...' he mutters, rubbing his back

He gets up frowning and winces holding his back, but then his eyes widens and he almost has a heart attack seeing his father in law staring at him intently, sitting on the couch next to him...

'Holy Fu...' he blurts out, but covers his mouth before completing, and Arjun's expression remain unchanged

'I mean... Good morning Big Dad...' he smiles and sits straight up

'Good Morning, Son in law... Did you have a good sleep...?' Arjun asks, in a professional tone and Aayan gets confused

He wanted to say that he couldn't sleep at all, but ofcourse, he knew that Arjun exactly wants to hear that he is suffering, and wants him to back off...

'Yeah, I slept very comfortably... You should try sleeping on this couch as well...' Aayan smiled and Arjun frowned

'I have slept there many times in my 33 years of marriage, thanks to Naina....' he mutters to himself

'Did you say anything Big Dad...?' Aayan asks, not really sure what his father in law just said...

'Nothing, would you like to have  Tea...?' Arjun asks and Aayan sighs in relief

That would be divine... My back and head ache is killing me, Tea would do wonders to that...

'Yes...' he said happily

Arjun smirks, and rests his back on sofa, crossing his hands over his chest

'Then go make it, make some for me too, without sugar...' Arjun smiles and Aayan's smile fades and he sighs

Wow...

'Yes Big Dad...' he gets up and then stretches, his back making a cracking sound 

'You young people don't have any flexibility now a days...' Arjun comments and Aayan frowns

I would love to see your flexibility once you sleep on this god for saken couch...

Aayan walked to the kitchen, without replying and started searching for utensils and Mary greets him...

'Mary can you...' Aayan began, but Arjun cuts him off in between

'Mary, why don't you take a long vacation with your family for a week, meanwhile Aayan can take your place...' Arjun says to Mary, While Aayan and Mary looks at him shocked

'What...? She has a family too right ? And also, Ved told me that you can cook, so let me see how good cook are you...' Arjun says shrugging his shoulders and Aayan sighs

'I can only cook Maggi...' Aayan replied

'Well there is no age of learning, isn't it...?' Arjun says casually turning on the television

'Atleast tell me where the things are kept...' Aayan says to Mary and she nods

Mary tells him where the ingredients, spices and other requirements are kept and slowly slips him a small book containing quick recepies, which she brought for Vansh, in case she is taking leave...

'Thank you Mary, you are my saviour...' Aayan sighs

'You are welcome Aayan Baba...' she smiles and takes the shopping bag from the counter and some cash, which Vansh always kept on the drawer for Mary to buy Kitchen supplies...

'Sir, I need to get some groceries, I'll get them and then leave...' she says to Arjun, who was in the hall

'Why will you go...? Tell Aayan what all you need, he will get that...' Arjun says and Aayan bangs his head lightly on the wall of the kitchen, as Arjun can't see him

'But Sir, Baba doesn't know where the shops are....' Mary tries to convince Arjun

'Don't worry, he will figure it out... You go... I have asked my secretary to book rooms for you and your family in Lonavala's resort.... She'll send you the details...' Arjun smiled

'That is so kind of you sir...' She says to Arjun and then walks inside the kitchen, giving Aayan a sorry look

'Don't worry, I'll order them online...' Aayan grins showing his phone and Mary chuckles

'Give it to me, I'll put the groceries in the cart...' She offers and Aayan gives her the phone and then leaves

'The Tea is taking forever...' Arjun calls from the hall and he frowns

'Almost done Big Dad...' Aayan answers back and then continues preparing the Tea..

Vansh walks out of his room and sees Aayan working in the kitchen, he looks at his father questioningly, who winks at him...

'Vansh, do you want Tea..? Aayan is making some...' Arjun says to Vansh, loud enough for Aayan to hear and Vansh smirks at this..

'Really...? Wow, that's so great... But I don't drink Tea, Jijaji, can you make Coffee for me...?' he says and Aayan frowns

I don't know how to make coffee..

'Sure Saale Sahab...' he replies stressing on the word..

Naina, Ananya and Ved too join them and Naina gasps seeing Aayan working in the kitchen..

'Oh my god, Aayan why are you working there...? Where is Mary...?' she says walking towards him, when Arjun stops her

'Aayan offered to make breakfast for us...' He grinned and Aayan's eyes widen in shock, while Ananya - Ved gasp at this

'Breakfast...!' Aayan exclaimed

'Yeah, as Mary is taking a week long leave, I thought Aayan will make our food, except Ananya's food ofcourse... I'll make that for her...' Arjun says and Naina glares at him

'You will make your son in law work at your house Arjun...? Don't play with the traditions here...!' She scolds him

'Oo come on Maa, times are changing, stop differentiating between yours Sons and Son in law already... Also Aayan is like your son right...! Why can't he cook for us...?' Vansh supports Arjun and He nods

'Paa, Aayan can't cook anything except Maggi...' Ananya says to Arjun

'He'll learn na beta, and don't worry, you will get all the healthy food you need...' He hugs Ananya and she sighs

'Can I help him...?' Ved asks

'I'll throw you out of the house....' Arjun scolds him and he sighs

'Arjun...' Naina tries to argue

'I heard you and gave him another chance okay, now you don't interfere between us... Please...' Arjun says and she sighs

'Beta, ask me of you need anything okay...?' she says to Aayan and he nods smiling

'Mom will you have Tea...?' Aayan asks

'Yes beta...' Naina smiles

'A Black Coffee for you bro...?' He asks to Ved

'No even I'll have Tea...' Ved replies

'But you never drink Tea...' Vansh argues

'I'll have it from today....! Do you have any problem ?' he glares at Vansh who rolls his eyes

'Ananya, Green Tea for you....?' Aayan asked but Arjun cuts him off in between

'You won't make anything for her ! I'll heat milk for my Princess, she needs nutritious Food, Green Tea is useless..!' he exclaims and walks in the kitchen

'I know how to heat a milk...' Aayan says

'You'll overheat it... What if it burns my Princess's throat and harm my grand child...' Arjun argues, Aayan smiles at this and continues his work

Arjun heats the milk for Ananya, and cuts fruits, adds some dryfruits for her, while Aayan was still figuring out what to cook...

Aayan served tea to everyone, and came back to prepare Vansh's coffee, while Arjun was making oats for Ananya...

He looked at Aayan who was helpless, he wanted to help him, but of course he won't, because he wanted to punish him for hurting his daughter, yet Aayan was like his own son...

'You may take your father's help in this...' Arjun suggested and took the tray containing Ananya's food and walks out

Aayan quickly dials Jai's number, while preparing coffee for Vansh and Jai picks up in 2 rings

'Aayan...? What happened son...? Is everything okay...? How is Ananya...? Is she alright...? Are you Okay...?' He shoots questions at him

'Everything is fine Dad...! I need your help in something...' Aayan replies scratching his head

'What is it beta...?' Jai asks

'Do you know how to cook...?' Aayan asks hesitantly

'What...!' Jai exclaims

Aayan sighs and explains to his father what happened here since their arrival, and now Aayan is facing one of the Arjun's tests...

Jai started laughing at this and Aayan frowned

'Papa ! Your son is in trouble here, and you are laughing...!' He huffs and Jai controls his laughter

'I am so sorry beta, I am just thinking that why didn't I teach you how to cook, when I came to know that Arjun will become your father in law... This day was bound to come, considering how much he loves Ananya... But this soon...? I had no idea...' Jai said and started laughing again

'Ha ha ha.. You are so helpful to me right now...' Aayan rolls his eyes

'Okay okay... What are you supposed to make...?' Jai asks

'Everything for one week, but right now breakfast...!' Aayan replies

'Haaye...! Attyachar kar raha hai mere bete pe Zaalim, ruk jaa mera bhi time aayega...' Jai sighs and Aayan smiles at this

'I'll get Mrs. Kumar on phone, she'll teach you an easy breakfast...' Jai says

'Daaaaduuuuuu....' he hears Amayraa yelling from the background

'By the way your daughter is very stubborn, just like you, she is driving me crazy, reminds me of Priyanka...' Jai says the last part shivering and Aayan heard the transition in the voice and chuckles imagining his face

He hears phone shuffling and Mrs. Kumar comes on line..

After 30 mins Aayan comes out with breakfast for everyone and also with juice for Ananya and Naina

'Oo wow, Sprout Salad and Upma...!' Ved exclaimed and Vansh frowned at this

'I don't eat...' he began

'Eat whatever you are served alright ! Enough with your obstinance here...' Naina scolds Vansh, and Arjun who was about to object too, backed off..

'Okay Maa..' Vansh sighed and Aayan served breakfast to everyone

Everyone liked the breakfast, while Arjun and Vansh who secretly liked the breakfast, didn't comment, but Naina and Ved praised him

Ananya pouts seeing everyone having their breakfast, whereas she was stuck with oats and fruits

'I don't want to eat this...' she pushes the plate away and they look at her bewildered

'What happened beta, is it not good...?' Naina asks

'It's good, but I want to eat what you guys are eating...' she points at their plates

'Beta, eat something healthy, fruits are good for the baby...' Arjun said

'I want Upma...' She pouts

'You don't like Upma...' Vansh pointed out, rolling his eyes

'I love it, Maa please give me some...' Ananya says to Naina

'But she doesn't....' Ved began

'Hormones...' Aayan said and stopped Ved from saying anything further..

Naina served the breakfast to Ananya, who finished it in one go and all of them looked at her surprised, while Naina just chuckled

'You want anything else baby...?' Naina asks

'Yes Maa, could you make waffles for me...?' Ananya asks

'But you hate waffles !' Vansh exclaimed, literally on the verge of pulling his hairs

'Your kid will be just like you, see he is making his mother eat what you like and she hates !' Ved joked and Aayan chuckled

'Pregnant ladies drive me crazy... I am leaving...' he says getting up

'Take your plate with you, Mary is on the leave... And you better wash it too... Aayan will not wash your dishes...' Naina orders and Vansh nods withiut arguing

'I wasn't expecting him to wash my plates Maa, I am not that evil....' Vansh said, and left the table...

'Chalo, I'll make waffles for Ananya...' Naina says getting up

'Ved, drop me at Sid's house...' Arjun says and Ved nods, they leave the table too..

Aayan looks around, to make sure that everyone is gone and then quickly gets up from his seat and pecks Ananya's cheeks, she blushes at this..

'Somebody is eating my favourite food...' He teases her

'Yeah, someone's baby is giving his Mumma a hard time...' Ananya frowns rubbing her flat belly..

'Awww we both love you Mumma...' Aayan kisses her once again, she smiles and takes his hands in hers

'Is Paa being very hard on you...?' She asks caressing it

'Not at all..! I am managing everything like a pro... Don't worry, these tasks are nothing, if he asks me to jump into the fire for you, I'll do it...' He says kissing her hands

'Really...?' She asks raising her brows

'No not really, but bolne me kya jaata hai, I mean why will he ask me to jump on the fire anyway....' he chuckles and Ananya hits him

'You know, when you'll come back to Delhi, with our little princess... I'll show you something...' He says caressing her cheeks

'What is it...?' she asks curiously

'Surprise...' he grins

'I want to spend more time with you...' she pouts

'I am right here baby...' Aayan taps her nose

'That's not how I meant...' She whispers in his ears and a shiver runs down his spine

Damn her hormones... Curse you Doctor !

'Didn't you hear what the doctor said...' Aayan reminds her

'Screw him...' Ananya replies irritatedly

'We can still be together, there are other ways too, like I can cuddle with you the whole day...' Aayan says pulling her cheeks

'But Paa won't let you...'  she argues

'Shhh... I'll find a way... Don't worry...' he says kissing her forehead and she smiles

He picks up their plates and takes them to the kitchen, while Ananya stares at him lovingly..

When did you become like this Aayan...?

Evening...

'Maa, I need to go for a walk...' Ananya whines and Naina sighs

'Beta, doctor asked you not to do any physical activity, don't you remember...? It's not good for the baby...' Naina says

'Maa, just a normal walk, not even brisk walk or running... I can't just sit, it's not good for the baby either...' Ananya argues

'Okay fine, go.. But no running or brisk walking understand...?' she warns and Ananya grins

'Come I'll take you to the park...' Arjun offers and Aayan who came out of the kitchen after preparing the meal, looks at Naina expectantly

Naina understood what he meant, and gives him a thumbs up

'No, You come with me...' Naina says and Arjun frowns

'Where you want to go...?' He asks

'Oo come on Arjun, look how boring you have become, it's been ages since we have walked together at the marine drive... I feel like going there today, come with me na..' Naina whines and Arjun narrows his eyes at her, but then gives up

'Are you sure that Ananya can be left alone at this time...?...' He asks

'Yeah Paa, I'll be walking in the park adjacent to the building... You can see me from here...' Ananya assured and Arjun was still not convinced

'You must spend some time with Maa, you don't take her out now a days...' she says and Arjun looks at Naina who pretended to be sad

'Yeah okay....' he sighed Naina - Ananya grin at this

'But be careful okay...?' he says to Ananya who nods excitedly

Arjun looks at Aayan, who hides his smile and then walks inside the room

'You are the best mom...' Aayan hugs Naina as soon as Arjun closes the door

'I love you Maa...' Ananya hugs her too

'Love you too my babies... Now go ! Before your Dad changes his mind... Take care of her...' she says to Aayan and they nod...

'Ananya... No running...!' Naina warns again

'Yes Maa...' Ananya chuckles and walks out of the house...

And after Arjun and Naina leave, Aayan walks out of the house, to meet Ananya in the park...

Vansh's studio...

Vansh was disinterested in work today, the main leads were practicing the scene along with him and He wasn't paying attention at them at all...

He was angry on Aayan, for making Ananya suffer, eventhough Vansh made sure before their marriage that he doesn't hurt her in anyway, he still did that...

Moreover, now his mother and older brother were supporting Aayan, while his father seemed to be inclining towards Aayan's side too

He felt Dejected as a son, cheated as brother in law and failed as a brother, and the sad part was, no one was understanding why was he so angry towards Aayan and his mom was blaming him to be rude against him...

'Vansh...? Are you listening...?' Manik, the lead actor shakes him, breaking his reverie

'Yeah...?' He asks absentmindedly

'The outdoor shoot, when is it scheduled...? We are shooting this sequence in Mussorie right...?' Anusha, the lead actress asks

'Yeah... We are... Regarding the schedule, I don't know... Let's finish this first, then I'll talk to Sanjeev and see what he says, he is the director afterall...' Vansh replied 

'Sanjeev has already given a heads up for it, and we are wrapping up next week... We better start preparing for the outdoor shoot...' One of the AD suggested

'Where is Khushi...?' Vansh asks

'Sir she has taken half day leave, she went to see her parents, she'll come by 6 today...' AD informs

'Oh, when she comes, ask her to report me....' Vansh says getting up

'Can't function without Khushi,even for one day eh...?' Anusha teases Vansh and Manik smirks at this...

'I have asked her to start the preparation for Mussorie, I just want to know the progress...' Vansh replies rolling his eyes..

'He is smitten by Khushi...' Manik teases

'Nonsense...' Vansh huffs

'Awww... My poor heart...' Anusha fakes tears

'Guys, don't overthink...' Vansh says, reading the script

'Hey, what about that hot twin of yours...? Is he single...?' Anusha asks pointing at Ved, who was busy in learning how a commercial camera works

'Bad luck lady, he is happily married...' Vansh teases Anusha, who pouts

'Aww.... My poor heart again...' She whines

'I am always single for you...' Manik flirts with her

'Eww no... I'll better die single...' Anusha makes a disgusted face and they all laugh

1 hour later..

Ved walks around the studio to search Vansh, when an AD informs him that he is in the projection room, editing the scenes, therefore Ved decides not to disturb him

His phone rings and he sighs looking at the caller and cuts the call

He and Deepika have been fighting a lot, since they took their respective sides in Aayan and Ananya's issue..

Deepika didn't like Ved's support for Aayan, whereas Ved hated Deepika's intereference in every matter, especially when it came to his and Aayan's bonding...

He keeps the phone in his pocket, just then someone bumps into him and he is pushed back a little, while the person is on the floor...

'Oo I am so sorry, I didn't see you Madam...' Ved apologises and helps the girl to stand up

It was Khushi, who was carrying huge files and was arranging them, when she bumped with Ved

'No no... I am sorry sir, I always fall here and...' Khushi begins but then stops seeing Ved

'Good evening Vansh sir, I'll get you the schedule file...' Khushi says composing herself

'Good evening Khushi, and I am not...' Ved began, but she cuts him off in between

'Sir, you look weak, are you okay ? You were not this lean yesterday....! Sir please see a doctor...' Khushi says concerned

'I am Ved, Khushi... Not your Khadoos boss Vansh...' Ved chuckles and Khushi adjusts her specs and then looks at him apologetically...

'I am really sorry sir, I... I got confused... I didn't mean to...' she apologised to Ved

'It's okay Khushi, we get that a lot you know, we are habituated to it now...' Ved smiles and Khushi smiles back

'I guess you are here for the first time Sir...?' Khushi asked

'Well technically third time, but yeah it's today that I got to learn so many things about filmmaking...' Ved says looking around

'I'll give you a tour of the studio, if you like...' Khushi offered

'That would be great...' Ved said excitedly

'Just give me a minute sir, I'll keep these files and give you the tour, meanwhile Vansh sir will finish the editing...' Khushi says and Ved nods

Khushi quickly walks inside Vansh's cabin keeps the files, and comes out

'This way sir...' Khushi says and Ved follows her

They were walking around different sets and rooms like editing room, vfx studio, music rooms, the dark room for photographs and others, Khushi was explaining Ved what is done where and Ved was listening carefully and asking questions wherever he felt like...

Ved was cutting Deepika's call, and Khushi noticed this...

'Sir may I ask something....?' Khushi asks, when they reached the projection room, where Vansh was working

'Yes Khushi, Anything and please call me Ved, I am not your boss...' Ved smiles

Khushi thinks for a while and then looks af Ved excitedly..

'Can I call you Ved Bhaiyya...? I mean you are 4 years older than me, and I don't have any older brother, I also insited to call Ananya as Di too, but she is just an year elder to me... So...' Khushi trailed off

Ved chuckles, 'Yes you can call me Bhaiyya, Khushi...' he says and Khushi smiles

'So Bhaiyya... Do you and Vansh Sir fight a lot....?' she asked

'No not really, we have differences, you see leaving our face and height, we have absolutely no similarity, so yeah we fight, but no major fights...' Ved replies, as Khushi keeps a cup for making coffee for him, at the expresso machine

'That's strange, I heard siblings and close people fight a lot...' Khushi says turning on the machine

'Actually Me and Vansh, we were separated in our childhood, as in not literally, but I went to boarding school, while he stayed with my parents, so we are not that close... But hey we are twin brothers, so yeah we know each other sufficiently...' Ved says

'That's sad Bhaiyya... So you and Vansh sir aren't close with anyone....?' She asks

'That's not true, I am close with Aayan, my best friend and Vansh has Vikrant...' Ved replies

'So how much do you agree with the fact that, we fight only with those, with whom we are closer or we love them more than anyone...?' She asks adding 2 cubes of sugar on the coffee

'I agree with this completely, If I don't feel that I have right on the person, I won't fight or nag them at all... It shows care actually...' Ved replies

Khushi looks at Ved and smiles and hands him the coffee..

'Exactly Bhaiyya...' She says and points at his phone, which showed 9 missed calls of Deepika and 20 texts

Ved realised what she wanted to say and took the sip of the coffee, which she just gave him

'This is sweet...' Ved says

'Sometimes sweetness is necessary...' Khushi smiles and walks away from there, leaving Ved in dilemma...

He realised his fault and then dialled Deepika's number, she picked up in one ring...

'Oh Thank god Ved, you picked up the call... I thought you will never talk to me...' Deepika says her voice cracking

'Yeah, someone just knocked the senses in me...' Ved says sitting on the chair

'May god bless that person, listen Ved, I am really really sorry for nagging you about Aayan, I promise that I won't interfere in any of your matters, and never ever comment about Aayan or anyone, please forgive me Ved...' Deepika cries on the phone

'Stop crying Deepika, you know I can't see or hear you crying...' Ved says and Deepika sobs at this

'See, I understand that you were concerned, with me taking Aayan's side, will ruin my realtions with my family, but I did what a best friend has to do, and see now everything is getting back to normal, Aayan is trying his best to win Annie back, and Papa - Vansh also gave him a chance, I agree that you are angry on him for hurting your best friend, believe me I was angry on him for that too, she is my sister afterall, but he is genuinely trying Deepika, can't you forgive him for that, for me..?' Ved says softly and Deepika sniffs

'I'll do anything for you, and I am not angry on Aayan, if you guys have forgiven him, who am I to stay angry...? Please forgive me Ved...' Deepika says

'That's my girl, that's why I love you Deepika... You understand things very quickly... Now stop crying...' Ved smiles

'Come soon, I miss you...' Deepika says, wiping her tears

'I miss you too... I love you...'

'I love you more...' Deepika replies

'See you...' Ved says and hangs up

He looks at Khushi who was now talking to the AD, and smiles

Lucky guy Vansh...

Central park...

Ananya was waiting for Aayan, at the bench which was at the secluded corner of the park..

But she was unaware that someone was watching her, and was ready to attack...

Ananya was listening to the songs, and Ritika wrapped a scarf around her face, to hide her identity and slowly started walking towards her, hiding a pocket knife in her hands..

Just then Aayan comes and hugs Ananya from behind and Ritika backs off...

'Hey beautiful...!' Aayan kisses her cheeks and Ananya blushed

'Aren't you late...?' Ananya fakes anger

'Yeah, your dad takes a lot of time for his makeup... I waited for him to get it done and leave, and then sneaked out...' Aayan says rolling his eyes and Ananya hits him

'My dad doesn't need any makeup, he is very handsome... Just like me, who is beautiful, without any makeup...' Ananya says proudly, flipping her hair back

'Yeah, over confidence has ruined many lives, let's see how your bubble bursts...' Aayan teases her and she glares at him

'You mean to say, I don't look good...?' she asks

'Well, I didn't say it explicitly, but self realisation is good...' Aayan smirked

'Don't talk to me...!' she gets up and starts walking away, but Aayan catches her hands and pulls her towards him gently, and makes her sit on his lap, and starts kissing her neck..

Ritika who saw this from a distance, clenched her hands at this...

'Aayan...! What are you doing... This is a public place...' Ananya says, shivering

'It's getting dark, and this is a secluded place... Who will find us here... Great choice for a makeout spot wifey...' Aayan winks at her and Ananya chuckles

'Who says you will get anything...' Ananya teases him

'I said, and I get what I want...' he says pulling her closer

Ananya stares at his eyes, and smiles

'I love you...' she says caressing his face..

'I love you more...' he smiles and captures her lips with his, kissing her passionately...

Ritika dials Yash's number, after getting out of the park

'I couldn't get her, Aayan is with her all the time...!' she exclaims angrily

'Damn it !' Yash growls

'What do we do now...?' Ritika asks

Yash didn't answer anything for a while, and Ritika tapped her feet impatiently...

'Say something...!' She growls

'Come to the hotel, I have another plan...' Yash says

When will these love birds find peace !!!! 😭

Where is Ananya's imprecation, 'I will never be yours' said out of rage, leading them to...!
