Itachi felt Naruto wrench his own hand out of his and a scream resounded through the air the next second. Itachi didn't know how Naruto reacted so fast but when he had turned towards the direction of the scream, Naruto was already on the ground cradling a bundle. A car had stopped mid road, a pram had been hit and it now laid all broken a little further in front. This has cause traffic chaos as the car and pram was blocking the road and everyone had stopped to see what was going on. Itachi rushed to Naruto to see if he was alright but Naruto brushed him off as he fussed over the baby to see if it was harmed. Itachi hid a smile when he saw a smile break out on his boyfriend's serious and worried face. "The baby is alright." Naruto whispered, cradling the baby closer, rocking the small baby soothingly. The baby seem to enjoy it as the two heard a giggle erupt from the baby. A worried family came rushing towards them and Naruto handed the baby over before leaving quickly, pulling Itachi along. He didn't need any reward or any praises. It should be what everyone should do. Even if you can't save everyone, you can save someone.
"Are you hurt?" Itachi asked worriedly, scanning over quiet blond for any injuries. Naruto shook his head but Itachi didn't believe the blond. He grasped Naruto's hand and stopped him form moving as he physically checked, pulling up his sleeves and rolling his wrists and everything just to make sure nothing was broken or bleeding. "I'm fine 'Tachi." Naruto said as he pulled Itachi in for a kiss which the older male returned eagerly. Naruto was glad Itachi didn't mind this kind of affection in public.

The others gawked as Naruto gracefully dived into the deep dangerous waters without a second thought after dropping anything that could be slowing him down, which were his bag and shoes and jacket. Itachi sighed as he tried to calm his racing mind and heart. Why is his boyfriend saving anything and everything? He looked over to see Konan chewing her nails nervously as she glanced at the waters, looking as if she was praying for Naruto to appear anytime now. Two kids had fell into the water and didn't resurface. Either the kids were caught in something or they hit something or they got taken by something.
Naruto resurfaced with the two kids and the area immediately erupted with cheers. Naruto ignored it all as he checked on the kids. They had gotten tangled with some heavy fishing nets. Naruto had to use the knife tucked into his waist band to cut them free before pulling them up to the surface as quickly as possible before they inhale too much water in their panic. The two children was coughing from the encounter. Naruto managed to slip through the crowd when their attention turned towards the parents for a split second. Naruto quickly ushered his friends to leave the place, scooping up his belongings.
Naruto sat there being manhandled by Konan as she dried him as much as she could. She then bonked him over the head for risking his own life like that. "Someone has to do something. No one deserves a life without a family member." They winced again, knowing Naruto had spoken from experience again and not some made up things.

Itachi stood there shell shocked. His boyfriend stood in front of him protectively, a hand held up to catch a fist flying his way. The fist is now held so tightly, the man had tried to pull away but couldn't. Naruto's eyes narrowed dangerously and in anger. "Lay a hand on my boyfriend again and a broken wrist is not the only injury you'll be getting." Naruto snarled protectively at the whimpering man that is now cradling his broken wrist on the ground. Naruto had flicked his own wrist slightly which immediately snapped the man's wrist without a moments' hesitation. Naruto turned sharply and walked out of the place, tugging Itachi along. "You're not hurt are you?" Naruto asked, checking Itachi over. The raven shook his head as if still trying to comprehend what just happened. The Uchiha had been sitting there waiting for Naruto when the man bumped into him. The man was picking a fight about everything to everyone. Itachi had barely managed to react to dodge a punch when another came sailing and that is when Naruto came in.
Naruto had arrived and saw what was going on, he had rushed towards Itachi without thinking and caught the fist instinctively. He didn't know what had gotten over him but he felt so angry that the man was going to harm his boyfriend. He had snapped the man's wrist without mercy.
"So... Protective are we?" Itachi purred as he back Naruto towards the wall. Naruto flushed bright red as he backed when Itachi stepped forward. Naruto cursed mentally when he hit the wall. No where to go. Itachi smirked as he started at Naruto's neck, nibbling at the still completely bruised up neck. Some people are worth protecting.
