"Just hang in there kid!" Daigo had been stretched out by the paramedics.

"Daigo... I'm sorry!" Valt had tears running down his face.

"Huh, poor Valt. Trying to take the blame for what he did. Well, take him away." They put him in the ambulance truck.

"I'm so sorry! DAIGO!! I'M SO SORRY!! I DIDN'T MEAN TO BE SCARED OF YOU!!!" Valt screamed tearfully.

Shu put his hand on Valt's shoulder. "Valt, you don't have to lie." He whispered to his ear: "Because we don't trust anyone."

Valt watched helplessly as the truck speeds off with Daigo inside with a siren. The next day, Chiharu pulled into the driveway, seeing Valt's face and knowing something was wrong.

"Valt, are you okay? What is it?"

Valt couldn't answer. His vocal cords were strained from crying. Instead, Bekka walked his mother inside to break the bad news to her as Valt wept in the driveway. After an hour or so Valt walked back in to the house, seeing that his friends were both shocked, sad, and disappointed. He couldn't look at them. He couldn't see how they thought of Daigo when it was his fault. He just went to sleep, trying to get the whole thing off his mind. Five days went by, with no word from Daigo at the hospital. No friends to hang out with, except Shu, who was comforting Valt. Nothing but sadness and guilt.

That is until Saturday night, when Shu is woke up by Valt, with a happy, sunshiny face.

"Hey Shu, tonight is the night!" Valt said as he jumped up and down and landed on the bed.

"What's tonight?" Shu asked as he stired awake.

"Well, it's Zac's glowing light party." Valt sat on Shu's hips to face him.

He was now fully awake.

"Valt, you're kidding me, right? You don't expect me to go to Zac's party after..." There was a long pause. Shu and Valt stared at each other in those eyes.

Shu sat up and sighed. "Look, we both know what happened, but I think this party could be the thing that brightens up the past days."

Valt stayed silent for a second, the grinned. "Okay, let's get dressed." Valt walked out of the room and downstairs to get himself ready.

Shu fought himself to get up. He picked out a random shirt and pair of jeans and walked down stairs. He saw his friends all lightened up; Valt, Unmei and Diran are wearing glowing cat ears, Rantaro, Rotto and Antonio are holding their lightsabers, Wakiya and Isan are wearing glowing shutter shades and Kamiyu had a glowing flower crown on her head. He thought, why they would ever use such glowing stuff to the party? Then he looked at Valt with a cat ears. He looks way too adorable though.

"Is that all your going to wear?" Wakiya blurted out a laugh.

"Better than wearing too much." Rantaro said.

Shu pushed down the feeling to yell at them and hid it with a embarrassed smile.

"Look, we may be living in the glow, but this is how you go if you want to make an impression." Rotto said. 

Shu sighed and went back up to Valt's room. 

"Unless you got any fancy clothes!" he yelled down stairs.

"It's alright. I'll just pick out something." Shu called. He looked around in the closet for what he would call fancy. He found a dark grey mask featuring four long red stripes, it only showed its red eyes are glowing. He also found a long white jacket with a high collar.He couldn't find a shirt to go with it though. None of which go with mask and jacket. Finally he found a black shirt and put it on.

"You're wearing that?" Valt asked, blinking.

(Yeah... Because... Shu Kurenai is Red Eye for God's sakes!!!)

Unmei looked at her watch. "Ah, no time to change. Let's just go." She said as she herded her friends out the door.

They crossed the street over to WBBA building. They walked to a party scene. They were relaxing at tables and enjoying their food and drinks. Others were playing lots of games. Everyone that chose to dance to the music with glowing accessories in a large crowd on the dance floor. 

"Hey Twinkle Toes! Long time no see! And what a cute kitty you are!" Zac greeted cheerfully.

"Thanks Zac." Valt grinned.

Zac looked at Kamiyu. "A lovely lady with a beautiful flowers~" He took her hand and kiss it in a gentlemanly way.

Kamiyu blushed and giggled. "Thank you."

Then, Zac looked at Shu, pacing around him. He spun away and stop to face him. "Well, well, well... a guy behind a mask..." He smiled brightly. "You're looking good."

Shu's eyes widened. "Thanks..."

Suddenly a girl with a masquerade and a pink LED butterfly wings came up to him and poke him with a princess wand. "Hey. Wanna dance?" she said.

"Nah. I'm alright." 

The girl looked at him with that dreamy face. "Please?"

"Fine," Shu said. He followed her and started to dance with everyone. At first he thought it was totally ridiculous, but then he started to actually have fun. It might not have been super cool, but it was the first time he had done something that took his mind off of it.

"I've got a surprise for ya. You wanna see this?" She whispered to Shu's ear.

"Sure." So Shu went to the main lobby with the mysterious girl for a surprise, until he heard a noise. A weird motorbiking noise. Then it hit him. Nathan, Callum, and Sebastian all stopped riding and got off their motorcycles outside. A girl took off her mask and dropped it, revealing that she is Evelyn. Shu took off his mask and put it on the floor.

Nathan stormed in and looked at Shu with a burning hatred. "Hello, Shu Kurenai, is it?" he said. "We have some unfinished business!" 

Shu saw Nathan's bruised nose. "That's not gonna happen. I beat the crap out of you, so I think that's makes us even."

Nathan got an angry look in his eyes. "Oh no, I don't go for even, I go for winning Kurenai! You may have kicked our asses that one day, you little bastard, but not this time!"

As Shu said that Nathan rushed at Shu. They both fell to the floor. Nathan punched Shu in the nose, and Shu grabbed him by the ears and head butted him. Shu pushed Nathan off of him and both rose to their feet. Everyone were screaming and running out of the building. Callum and Sebastian both pulled guns out of their pockets.

"No one interrupts or guts will fly!" Evelyn yelled.

"Make me, bitch!" Unmei marched and pushed her.

The two girls started a cat fight.

Nathan pulled a knife on Shu and stabbed it into his shoulder.

Shu screamed and fell to his knees. Nathan started kicking him in the face. After three kicks Shu grabs his foot and twists it, causing Nathan to fall to the ground. Shu stood up and walked towards the back door. Callum grabbed him.

"Need some help?" He picks Shu up by the back of the collar and throws him through the snack bar. As Shu tries to stand he is kicked down to the ground. Nathan repeatedly starts kicking Shu, until he starts to cough up blood.

"Come on Shu, fight me!" He picks Shu up and throws him into the kitchen. Nathan sees a bottle of vodka on the counter and smashes the glass over Shu's head.

"Fight!" He throws Shu onto the dance floor.

A dark version of Shu appears. "Would you look at that!"  He covered in blood. In his eyes, black sclera and red iris.

Shu glances up, his face riddled with blood. 

"I was the one that needed my darling Valt! And now you're just gonna sit here and let Daigo die and rot in there forever! Ahahahahaha!!! Look at you! You're weak and pathetic! You should be ashamed!" 

Shu starts to get up.

"Oh, finally! you stand and fight!" Shu is now to his feet, blood and vodka on his face. Once again he gets that strange feeling, the one in which he hasn't felt for a while. 

"Finally. He's up!" Nathan says as he runs at Shu. That's when it happens. Something inside Shu snaps. His psyche is destroyed, all rational thinking is gone, all he can do, is kill.

He grabs Nathan and pile drove him to the ground. He gets on top of him and punches him straight in the heart. The punch causes Nathan's heart to stop. As Nathan gasps for breath. Shu hammers down on him. Punch after punch, blood gushes from Nathan's body, until he takes one final breath, and dies.

Everyone is looking at Shu now. His friends, Callum, Sebastian and Evelyn, even Valt. 

Valt is trembling and his eyes widened in horror. "Shu..."

Although they easily break from their gaze and point their guns at Shu. Shu see's the guns trained on him and runs for the stairs. As he runs Callum and Sebastian let out fire on him, each shot missing. Shu runs up the stairs. He hears Callum and Sebastian follow up behind. As they let out their final rounds of bullets Shu ducks into the bathroom. He grabs the towel rack and rips it off the wall. Callum and Sebastian race in, knives ready.

Callum swings his knife at Shu, who backs away and bangs the towel rack into Callum's face. Callum goes down hard and now all that's left is Sebastian. He is more agile than Callum though, and ducks when Shu swings the towel rack. He dropped the knife and grabbed Shu by the neck. He pushed him into the wall. A thing of bleach fell down on top of him from the top shelf. It burnt both of them and they both started to scream. Shu wiped his eyes as best as he could. He pulled back the towel rack and swung it straight into Sebastian's head. As he lay there, bleeding to death, he let out an ominous smile.

"What's so funny?" Shu asked. 

Sebastian pulled out a lighter and switched it on. "What's funny," he said, "Is that you're covered in bleach and alcohol." 

Shu's eyes widened as Sebastian threw the lighter at him. As soon as the flame made contact with him, the flames ignited the alcohol in the vodka. While the alcohol burned him, the bleach bleached his skin. Shu let out a terrible screech as he caught on fire. He tried to roll out the fire but it was no use, the alcohol had made him a walking inferno. He ran down the hall, and fell down the stairs. Everybody started screaming as they saw Shu, now a man on fire, drop to the ground, nearly dead. The last thing Shu saw was Valt and Rantaro trying to extinguish the flame. That's when he passed out.

"Valt, I'm home~" Dark Shu said as he walked into the cellar, shutting the door behind him.

"Hey Shu~" Dark Valt said smiling as he ran to his sick and twisted boyfriend. "How was work?" he said hugging him and giving him a kiss.

"It was amazing, nothing but horribly wonderful death! I love it when that guy punched the heartless, coldblooded prick in the chest! OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!!! And then, I'll dance all over his grave." He curved his lips a crazed smile. "So, how's your dolls coming along?" Dark Shu asked, looking at the dollhouse. There were a few boxes still packed, but nothing compared to just three days ago.

"That's all good," Dark Valt smiled, then he rolled his eyes at punishment box "Except the guy was acted like a bigger and bigger jerk!" He yelled angrily.

"I see that. Oh, How about we have some playtime all night long?~" Dark Shu smirked.

Dark Valt turned back to him and bounced in excitement and eagerness with a sick grin on his face. "Okay! Hee hee hee hee~!"

Dark Shu kissing him again.

Dark Valt kissed back.

"I love you~"

"I love you too~"

When Shu woke he had a cast wrapped around his face. He couldn't see anything, but he felt a cast on his shoulder, and stitches all over his body. He tried to stand up, but he realized that there was some tube in his arm, and when he tried to get up it fell out, and a nurse rushed in.

"I don't think you can get out of bed just yet." she said as she put him back in his bed and re-inserted the tube. Shu sat there, with no vision, no idea of what his surroundings were. Finally, after hours, he heard Valt.

"Shu, are you okay?" Valt asked with a smile. Shu couldn't answer though, his face was covered, and he was unable to speak. "Guess what,  After the surgery of putting those fatal wound back together, Daigo is alive and fully awake, but he's recovering for a while." This made Shu almost bolt up, stopping halfway, remembering the tube coming out of his arm. 

"You'll gonna be okay, and then me and you will be able to be together again." Valt walked away and took a last look at his best friend. "See you later." He left the room and went to the bathroom. Valt was crying now. "Shu... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to watch you getting hurt... I should've save you..." He sobbed as he laid on the wall and slid down in tears.
