"Y/N." a familiar voice said.

I snapped myself back to reality. Forcing not to remember them.

"Gaara." I said.

"Y/N why are you here?" Gaara asked.

"I was about to deliver your lunch." I said raising his lunch box.

"Y/N." He murmured.

"Gaara what is this?" I showed him the red card.

"Where did you get this?" He grabbed the card.

"I stepped on it." I explained.
"What does it mean?" I asked.

"Y/N." He hugged me "Sorry for not being here with you."

"Sorry? What for?" I looked at him.

"Sorry for everything." He frowned.

"Gaara don't lie." I glared.

"Y/N." He teared.

"Gaara tell me the truth." I commanded.

"This is not the right time to tell you this Y/N." He insisted.

"I don't believe that Gaara. Tell me."

"Y/N."

"Tell me!" My voice raised.

"Calm down. I'll tell you." He raised his hands "This red card is from Therese, Charles and Leo. We got some news from Konoha and this red card is a threat. Women who undergo pregnancy would receive this card stating that they will come. And worst they will kill you."

I gasped hearing those words.

"No, this can't be." I leaned against the wall behind me.

"I can't let that happen Y/N. I don't want to lose you again." He hold my hands.

"Gaara..." I teared.

"Y/N I'm here..." He brushed my hair.

"Gaara please stay." I hugged him tight.

"I will Y/N." He whispered.

"Y/N here. Drink this." I said and gave her a glass of water.

"Thank you." She said and drank the water

"What are going to do now?"

"It's safe if I stay here with you." I said.

"How about your duties?" She asked "I can't let you abandon it."

"Y/N if this would make me ensure that you and our babies are safe then I'll do it." I answered.

"But how's your role as the Kazekage. People are depending on you."

"Kankuro would take care it all." I smiled "Besides the council told me to stay here beside you until our babies are born."

"I hope this will end soon." She sighed.

"We have each other. Nothing will happen."

"Gaara thank you." She hugged me "You know you always make me feel better although I can't stay positive."

"I love you Y/N and that's why I'm willing to stay here beside you for better or for worst." I smiled.

"I love you." She kissed my cheeks.

"I love you too." I hugged her

"What do you want for dinner?" I asked.

"Anything."

"Wait here. I'll cook for you." I stood up.

"Okay."

I walked to the kitchen and opened the cabinets.

"This is delicious. I know Y/N would like this." I looked at the container.

I put it on a bowl and placed it on the microwave.

"Gaara..." Sudden voice calls on me.

"Who are you?"

"Gaara..."

"Show yourself coward." My hands turned to a fist.

"Precious, precious. Your gift is precious. What if I get it and kill them in front of you." The voice chanted.

"Therese, Charles is that you!" I growled.

"You will never see them. So prepare yourself as I eat my delectable supper." The evil voice laughed.

"I'll kill you!"

"Before the sunset of your special day. The worst things would come and destroy everything..." The voice said and vanished

"Shit." I punched the wall "What does it mean?"

I can't let this happen. Y/N and our child are so special to me and I'll protect them even if it means death would be the exchange...
