It took a minute for Zion to realize what had just happened.

Simon, the person he loved was dead, and he was the person who killed him, Simon died by his hands, his sword pierced Simon's chest.

Zhan's sobbing and wailing were what bring him out of his frozen state, his hands trembled and his heart hammered against his chest., while Zhan was holding Simon's body in his arms.

Zion looked at Zhan and suddenly anger engulfed his mind, everything was because of him, everything was Zhan's fault, Simon has always suffered because of Zhan.

It's all his fault this man was a curse, people only suffer because of him in his last life also he was the reason why Zion had lost Simon and the same goes in this life as well.

Zhan, Zhan, Zhan everything was this man's fault his entire existence was a curse.

Zion grabbed his sword and raised it towards Zhan, today he was going to end this curse, Zion thought while Zhan who was so lost in grief didn't care for anything else.

Zhehan was so angry that he forgot the wound on his abdomen.

While Yibo who was in the same state of mind as Zhehan also fought with Eros, While Danielle was withering on the ground in pain because he had lost his arm

Yibo's swords clashed with Eros's and they stood in front of each other, After fighting for so long Yibo was tired but he was also sad and angry.

Yibo punched Eros and quickly before Eros had the time to recover Yibo beheaded him, before moving to Danielle who moved back in terror, "please, have mercy...please I am..." Before Danielle could complete his sentence Yibo raised his sword and stabbed him but at the same moment, he was also hit by an arrow.

Yibo felt his body getting heavy he couldn't feel his hands and legs anymore he just laid on the ground and faced the sky, while the ground was covered with blood and dead bodies and there was chaos here the sky looked peaceful and calm.

Yibo smiled, his life was short but it was good, and what made his life good was Sean, Simon, Jack, Nancy, Silas, Zhehan, A-Yuan, and A-Xiang , all these people were his family and friends they were the reason why he loved his miserable life.

His life was like a bitter poison and these people were like honey, they made his life sweet but weren't able to stop it from being miserable.

He had no regrets he bought his mother justice killed those who had wronged her, but there was only one regret he had and that was that he couldn't tell Zhan that he also thinks of him more than a friend.

Zion was the first whose heart had stopped while Zhehan managed to take the sword out of his chest it was a painful process but he still did t, he slowly moved towards Simon's dead body and with trembling hands caressed his cheeks and gently closed Simon's still opened eyes before finally the tears which he had been holding back finally escaped his eyes before his body gave up and he collapsed on the ground beside Simon.

Over a barren mountainous land Azure flew and landed at the peak of the biggest volcano that separated the two empires, the volcano was really very huge and it looked like the entrance of the endless abyss.

When Zhan down at the entrance of the volcano and only saw bone-chilling darkness.

"So are you ready?" it was Silas who was standing in front of him The goddess had told everything about Silas to Zhan, also the fact that Silas hide his pain and rotting skin through a bracelet that goddess gave.

Silas then summoned Meridia and when Zhan saw it he knew that Yibo was dead too, silent tears escaped his eyes as Silas cut his wrist and his blood fell into the volcano where Aurelias was trapped.

"I Cyrus Laurent urge you the great son of goddess Duat, Aurelias to wake up from your slumber."

The earth shook and the thunder bombarded the sky while Azure flew in the sky and screamed.

Silas jumped in the air and threw the sword with full force in the volcano, and that sword went deep into the heart of the volcano where the holy object was in the form of a stone was located the sword clashed against the stone and created a crack in it.

Silas then looked at Zhan who knew what he had to do, Zhan turned and looked towards the capital one last time, this is what he came back for and finally, he was achieving it, Zhan felt funny when he thought about the dreams he had seen with Yibo and Simon to go and live somewhere quiet after everything was over.

How can he forget that villains like him never get a happy ending, he thought about everything there were many regrets but it was too late to think about them, after all, whatever you do there will always be regret, he thought before he stabbed himself with a dagger and Silas recited some spells in an unknown language and Zhan slowly stepped back and fell in the volcano.

He closed his eyes and his body fell right on the holy object and once his blood came in contact with the object a bright light appeared from the volcano that lightened the entire surrounding area and in the next moment the volcano erupted.

Large flamed came out of it and the earthquakes ravage the entire continent before the ground broke, and a loud scream that could even shake the heaven was heard before a large dragon-like figure came out of the volcano.

Aurelius was finally awakened and he screamed his terrifying scream worsened the earthquakes, and the lava flow in both the empires, the earth cracked at several places and lava erupted from those cracks burning and killing the people, the building fell and the civilians were cursed men women's children old no one was spared.

The water at the shore was also disturbed and a huge tsunami drowned the land, humans animals no one was spared.

Silas also stepped on the land that was covered in lava his legs burned but he didn't feel any pain instead he felt relieved, then a large wave of Lava engulfed him as well.

Thousand of years of the curse was lifted and he can die now.

"Aurelias!" Duat spoke and smiled once she heard her son's voice, thousands of years of wait and agony were over however he glanced back at Ankh who was in terrible, terrible pain.

She was feeling the pain of every individual who died, the overwhelming pain was her punishment and she just smiled through the pain, "Congratulations Duat, go and welcome your son."

The destruction had lasted for months before Aurelius had come back to his senses and stopped his overwhelming power, and then he saw his mother Duat, who ran to him and hugged him.

The continent was burned and half of it was drowned, it was destroyed.

Countless people had died, but they were redeemed.

Zhan's mission had been accomplished, and that gave redemption to his soul as well.

While Silas's soul was trapped in the purgatory but Ankh was with him.

And thus it was the end of the two empires and a new beginning for the survivors, beginning of a new era for the new generation.
