Simon was chained to a wall in the dungeons, apparently this was the home of the Empress's father, Raymond Kyrith a secret basement.

His hands were tied firmly and so were his legs, Zion smiled once he saw Simon finally under his grasp, "I have finally have you Simon."

Simon glared at Zion, "What the hell do you want from me?"

Zion laughed, "What I want from you?hmm..." Zion pretended to think before speaking again, " I want you to willingly become mine, in short I want you to become my lover."

Simon was now looking at Zion with so much anger that he could kill him, "Your majesty I am afraid you have lost your mind."

Zion smiled and moved forwrads before grabbing Simon's hair, "Simon Wen Weixiao you have no idea how long I have waited to have you in my grasp, I have so many records to settle with you."

Simon spoke, "You are making a mistake emperor, my brother will..." before Simon could complete his sentence Zion grabbed his hairs and smashed his head in the wall.

"Brother, brother, brother!! no one other than your brother matters to you do they huh? Zion said with anger and slaped Simon twice, Simon's head bled.

While Zion was so angry that he picked up his whip, "In last life and even in this life you are still the same" Zion said and then proceeded to mercilessly whip Simon, he didn't hold back at all he whiped him with all his might.

Every strike broke through Simon's skin, "Zhan, Zhan, Zhan!!! that's all that matters to you right? you chose him in past and even in present that bastard."

By the end Zion was panting heavily while Simon was a bloody mess he was bleeding very badly, his chest hands and legs were all covered in blood and the wounds were deep.

Zion threw the whip away and caressed Simon's cheeks, "Simon, I will make you remember everything, you have to remember about your past life."

Simon who was finding it difficult to even stand, didn't hear much of what Zion said because he was distraced by the pain.

"Eros." Zion called out and soon Eros came and handed a small bottle to Zion, who opened it and forced Simon to drink the potion in it, "What I just gave you is called tears of Duat, its' the water from the lake that is situated near the volcano that separates our kingdoms.

It is said that the lake was formed by the tears of Goddess Duat, and after mixing a little bit of my blood in it I assume that it will work the way I want."

Sudeenly felt immese pain he felt like someone was hammering nails in his skull and that his skull was going to break he felt so much pain that he pulled onto his chains but it was of no use.

"Aaah!!!" Simon screamed blood flew from his nose as he struggled, the pain was too much for him to handle and when he couldn't take it anymore he fainted.

Zhan suddenly woke up from his slumber as well, he touched his shoulder where he was hit and obviously he was healed.

"Zhan!" he heard his name being called out and saw Yibo beside him looking at him worriedly Yibo looked tired and had dark circles beneath his eyes, "How do you feel now?"

Yibo asked and Zhan slolwy spoke, "I am fine."

Yibo sighed and looked at Zhan with a grave expression, "Now listen to me Zhan, you have been asleep for two days and a lot of things have happened."

Zhan was shocked, "I was asleep for two days?" he suddenly said and got out from the bed, "I need to go back, my brother must be worried."

Yibo held his arm and said, "No first listen to me it's urgent and I need you to stay calm please." Yibo said and Zhan felt his heart beat quicken.

"What's wrong?"

"Zhan when you were asleep I had asked my knight to go and infrom your brother but when he reached their he saw dead bodies of the servants and some other men, your mansion was attacked."

Zhan's eyes widened and he stumbled back but Yibo was still holding his arm firmly, "My...my brother? A-Yuan? A-Xiang?"

Yibo shook his head, "They are missing."

Zhan felt his whole world crumble and he sat down on the bed and held his head in his hand, "How did this happen? why? "

He then turned to Azure , "Azure can you locate my brother?" Zhan asked, and Azure chirped and became quiet before chirping again, "she says that she can't."

Yibo also felt his blood ran cold,but Zhan spoke, "No, My brotehr must be unconcious that's why he is not responding I have to go and look for him and for those two kids."

"I will come with you too." Yibo said and the two were about to go before Jack came to Yibo's room he was panting heavily , "Your highness the capital is under attack."

Yibo's eyes widened, "I didn't expect him to act so soon," He then turned to Zhan who spoke,

"If this was any other day I would have just stayed back home and enjoyed but I need to find my brother first and take him out of this mess."

Yibo nodded and the two along with Jack walked out of the imperial palace with a large number of guards behind them.
